    New version is out! Changelog: Version 0.1.3: - Updated: Grila's weather plugin was updated to the newest version. You can now see if the temperature is set up in celsius or fahrenheit and the platform views now show the name of the current set up location. Thanks again to @Grila for implementing my requests in to his plugin

    Awesome! Thank you very much it works great! I noticed that I run into spacing problems with long location names. Would it be possible to add “Show” properties for the weather symbol and the temperature as well? With that I could add a second instance of your plugin in a new line under the first one which only shows the location.

    Well you don’t need the scripts exactly but otherwise you would have to edit every single theme manually in your video editing software. And that’s something you definitely don’t want to do, trust me. I'm not sure if EmuMovies even has cinematic themes as they can be freely shared by their creators and don't require to be exclusively hosted at EmuMovies like recorded HyperSpin themes do. You can find them here: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/category/11-game-theme-videos/ and on the import process in LB you need to check "BigBox cinematics" if you want to get the ones created by @JamesBaker as well.

    I’ve started to write a tutorial on how I do it but I never have finished it. It’s quite an extensive topic with a lot of scripts involved and I’m not sure if I want to go down that rabbit hole to maintain support for all the questions that will definitely follow. Currently I send out my unfinished tutorial + scripts per PM only to people who already have some experience in video recording, rendering and some very basic knowledge of batch files as it’s quite a lot to take if you don’t have any experience with things in that regard. But on the other hand I think that @Riffman81 and I have the themes pretty much covered. I did all the arcade platforms, MS-DOS, Touhou Project and Unified Widescreen Main Menu Themes, while Riffman has covered the rest. Sure there are still some themes we may have overlooked or just got recently released but you can always send them to us if you want and we may consider it to record them in one of our next recording sessions. As for what’s coming on my end: I have over 1000+ MAME themes that still need to be done and quite a few new Unified/16x9 main menu themes. I also got some new MS-DOS video snaps on my hands recently so I’m sure that some new themes will follow for this system as well. I'd love to do the PC Games as well at one point but as Riffman said I can't do them without video snaps. I’m also keen on doing themes for Sega RingEdge / RingWide. If anyone has high quality video snaps for them then please let me know. With that said: I plan to do them since almost a half year and still hadn’t found the time and motivation for doing so, so I can’t give you guys any ETA.

    Well I’m not a developer, so when I’m saying that it’s not possible than I mean it’s not possible for me to do with the native BigBox elements. If you or someone else want to try to come up with a solution, be my guest

    I have absolutely no clue what could cause this. Maybe there’s something odd with your BigBox settings, so I suggest it’s worth a try to set them back to default. Close BigBox and go to your data folder inside your LaunchBox installation and move the “BigBoxSettings.xml” to a different folder. BigBox will automatically create a new settings xml file with the default settings when the settings file is missing in the data folder on the next startup. If that doesn’t help and you want to restore your old settings just move the old xml file back to the data folder and replace the newly created one with it.

    Another small update. I've changed the font of the temperature to the general font of the theme, it should fit more in now. @ALIE Unfortunately that's not possible right now but I agree that this would be a great addition. Maybe @Jason Carr can look into it?

    Wow… I swear that the last time I tried it it didn’t work but I just have tested it again and it works like a charm... I really must’ve messed up something the last time… So yeah… you can cross font and text color from my list

    Thanks. I appreciate it Unfortunately, the games count for Playlists and Platform Categories doesn't work at the moment (in all themes) and the Platform Views will always show that there are 0 Games available for them. As far as I know is that something that @Jason Carr wants to tackle soon-ish.

    Hey guys, I just wanted to inform you all that I just released a preview version of my new theme: Aeon MQ7 It’s a loose port / interpretation of the Kodi skin with the same name, which was a heavy inspiration for CriticalZone. Therefore both themes share a lot of similarities and if you like CriticalZone you may could like Aeon MQ7 as well

This theme was designed for 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios and tested on 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 resolutions! This is just an early preview version that I built last September. Due to my new job I hadn’t much time to finish it up as an extensive theme like CriticalZone. I used the holidays to polish the Views that I already had as I don’t want to just sit on it any longer and I have definitely planned to add a ton of new Games Views to this, but I don’t know when I will find the time to do it. So for now just take it as it is and tell me what you think about it and what do you wish for potential updates. This theme currently features 4 Platforms and 3 Games Views. How to install: 1. Just download the archive and extract it to: “..\LaunchBox\Themes\” 2. Go to the “Plugins” folder inside of the extracted folder and right-click on of the .dll file. Choose Properties -> Click on “Unblock” at the bottom of the window. Close the window. If the "Unblock" button isn't there than you are already good to go. 3. Open the Options menu in BigBox -> go to “Views” and change the Theme to "Aeon MQ7". IMPORTANT: This theme requires at least LB v9.4 to work properly!     I’m a digital hoarder (I have over 3.5k Games on Steam alone *cough* *cough*) as I see my FE setup more like a digital museum of video game history but it’s indeed a problem to find all games worth your time in a huge collection. That’s why I love the playlist feature as it allows to easily create “Best of” lists. I’m currently working on 2 giant playlists projects called “Best Games of All-Time™“ and “The Top 100 notable games of every year” which will hopefully be my own compass to navigate through every worthwhile game in video game history. The best games lists will be a merge of various other lists of that kind and will feature a final ranking for every game. This playlist will then serve as base for my second project which will be a merge of hundreds various top lists with different focuses (and not ranked as it also includes not so great, but still notable for one reason or another, games). I also include remakes, remasters, notable ports and “definitve” versions of every game if something in that regard exists. With that said, it’s a tremendous and time consuming work to get through hundreds of lists which will hopefully cover the entire video game history in the end. I’m working on it since over 1.5 years, have currently over 5.4k different games in my work sheet and went through over 200 lists/podcasts/videos so far and there is still no end in sight… Sorry for the big tease but I just wanted to tell you guys that a (play)list like you have in mind is in the works. I'm also gonna make it to my New Year's resolution to finish these projects in 2018

    Hey Grila, I recently played around with your plugin and it works like a charm But nevertheless I have a few requests if you don’t mind: 1. Show C or F behind the ° 2. Being able to change the font and text color of the temperature 3. Show the name of the currently set up location

    Sure. Replace this file with the already existing one in your Views folder: TextFiltersView.xaml If it’s too dark for you just open the file with a text editor of your choice, go to line 54 (TEXTLIST GLASS BAR) and reduce the opacity value. I haven’t set it to scroll as I really don’t like it at all when both columns scroll asynchronous when one of them hit the end and start to scroll back. But yes, this decision also saved me some headaches that you are currently run into as well. The scrolling text is a beast to get it working as you want as there are a few things that tie in to that feature. For instance I never could get it working right with the DPI fix.
