Do you have any problems with the Platforms Views? If it’s really the custom fade transition than it shouldn’t be an issue as they don’t use it.

All transitions and animations, except the video, are custom and hardcoded in this theme. So turning them off in the Big Box options won't make any difference I'm afraid.

I hear you, but the thing is that I already got a lot of custom requests for this theme like a vertical wheel, bigger videos, no clock/weather, ... and of course this one now. Unfortunately I have to say no to all custom requests for now. Sorry for that. Maybe in the future when I’ve added all the Views that I’ve planned and I consider this theme complete. It’s just too much unnecessary work for me to support various versions of it while it’s still in development.

Hm…that‘s a hard one. I never heard that being an issue before. There’s a custom fade animation when a View gets newly loaded, maybe something doesn’t trigger it right. I have absolutely no idea why that would be the case but it’s the only thing that could explain a black screen with an apparently working video. Can you try this View and tell if that is fixing it for you? I’ve removed the fade animation and eager to know if it’s indeed the reason. WheelGamesView.xaml

When there's no unblock option than it's already fine and you won't have to do anything. -
That's coming for the normal Unified theme as well. Jason literally just added the option to do this 3 days ago, so it wasn't possible for me to do that until now.

I heard about that the first time, so yeah, I'm guessing you're in a minority. The Vertical Wheel 4 View is supposed to be used with game themes and the upcoming v1.1 release will also stretch these videos to fullscreen in this View like HyperSpin does, for a more authentic feeling. The video size in the other Views won't change anytime soon, sorry for that.

Make sure that in the Big Box Options -> Views –> “Show Games List Title” is enabled and that you are using at least LaunchBox version 8.0

I have the feeling that you still have the TextList View selected. Is that the case? Because when you look at the featured Views list you'll see that this one isn’t themed at the moment. You’ll have to switch the View to one of the Vertical Wheel Views. Check the tips section in the download description, it's explained there how to do that.

You say you dumped them somewhere? Have you created custom ones because you're not supposed to move anything around in the theme if you’re not exactly sure what you’re doing. Everything should work right out of the box and moving stuff around will just break it. The folder with the ReadMe file inside it is also defintiely the wrong folder. Please go back to the download description and follow the “How to Install”, “Tips” and “Individual platform artwork not showing up?” sections very closely. And if you have indeed moved things around it’s probably the best if you just delete the whole theme and re-download it again.

That is the TextList View and not a Wheel View. Try to change it with a button/key like I've described in in the tips section.

What do you mean with either? Your platform view looks exactly like it is supposed to look like. It shows the platform video in fullscreen. If you want the matching platform video for the theme you’ll have to download the Unified platform videos from EmuMovies like I’ve described it in the tips section of the download description. They don't come with the theme itself. Regarding your Games Views. I have the feeling that you still have the TextList View selected. Is that the case? Because when you look at the featured Views list you'll see that this one isn’t themed at the moment. You’ll have to switch the View to one of the Vertical Wheel Views. All described in the download description how you do that.

Unfortunately no, the Unfied Artwork isn't related to the image cache, so refreshing that won't work. How does it look for you when you enter the platform?

Ah, I see. Unfortunately that's not possible due to compatability reasons and the general way this theme is build.

Oh I could make the videos stretching across all Views, but the thing is that I simply don’t want that for the other 3 Views with the video border as that would mean to also stretch 16:9 videos to 4:3. I don’t have anything against stretching 4:3 content to 16:9 but the other way around just looks plainly horrible in my eyes. So if Jason adds an option for that I would only enable that for the fullscreen view regardless.

It should definitely work with the latest beat versions… Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea what could causing this. All I can say at this point is that you should try to re-install the theme and reset your Big Box options. Make sure that you have Big Box closed and go to the Data folder inside your LaunchBox folder. Move the BigBoxSettings.xml file to any other folder of your choice. Also just delete the whole Unified folder and re-download it. That should hopefully work.

Hm..that filepath seems to be correct. Do you happen to use an older version of LaunchBox? This theme may not work with versions previous to 8.0

Can you post your complete filepath for the folder that contains the platform pointers or here or make a screenshot of it?

If you don't see any kind of artwork than you have wrong filepaths at some point. Have you renamed the theme folder? It has to be called exactly "Unified" in order for it to work.
