Sleep mode caused corrupted XML file
wallmachine replied to TheNewClassics's topic in Troubleshooting

When I select a game to play in BigBox in the TextList View now the game title text disappears, see video. edit: @eatkinola when I remove "aoc:MarqueeTextBlock" from the <aoc:AutoscrollListBox> no issue, maybe in recent BigBox updates something broke the Marquee? edit2: don't think its the plugin because when I enable Startup Screen in BigBox the game title text does not disappear.

the following folder was randomly created in my emulator folder. I was playing games from that system... and the platform images are set to default location. \Images\TAITO Type X²\Fanart - Background\United States

do we need a plugin to view MAME hi scores in BigBox? would be nice addition if we could bind it to a key

Thanks, any suggestions on how to find out when the team has updated to the latest MAME database?
-
Thanks, just read the post about TorrentCheck but what about updating them in Launchbox? still need to either delete/re-add everything or search manually through your LaunchBox list and delete/re-add? no, you can use clrmamepro or TorrentCheck but the question is how do we update MAME every time in LaunchBox without having to either delete/re-add everything or search manually through your LaunchBox list and delete/re-add? Also another question on MAME if I manually delete/re-add MAME every month how do I know when @Jason Carr or @C-Beats has updated the MAME database? For instance I might delete/re-add MAME before they update the database which defeats the purpose.

because each iteration adds something new I'm interested in, same reason you update LaunchBox. Must be a simpler way than always having to delete/re-add it...

does no one update their MAME version every month in LaunchBox?
-
here I'm a hoarder so yes. when circo gets the chance to upload my video snaps you can grab them from EmuMovies.

found the difference 'New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U (USA)' is just a bundle containing both games and can be purchased as individual games too. 'New Super Luigi U (USA)', 'New Super Mario Bros. U (USA)' and 'New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U (USA)' are uploaded as separate entries. All just personal preference. I'll send you my list

How do you update your MAME version every month? What is the process if you add one of the following ways: Playlists Include this Playlist with Platforms

@viking this is what the videos do for me Colorful_beta_v.0.7 video.mp4

not at home atm but I used @faeran theme Radiance to do the border changing around the different types of boxart.
-
not publicly available. I don't know how to get the CoverFlow to work with different sized Boxart and I doubt everyone will create horizontal artwork for each Platform they have... I don't know how to fix or if we can, if someone knows let me know. Issues: - Spacing is not consistent between different sized artwork - Unable to set different heights for vertical/horizontal artwork as you can see horizontal gets squished - Unable to set height of selected game/not selected for different types of artwork to make the flow look more consistent

Only happens for every custom theme. Tried Default no issue, copied Default made changes to one view and then lag starts occurring in menu options/platform/game views. Also noticed images are not swapping between custom themes even after re-caching from menu (this causes more lag), need to delete cached folder for correct images to display. Edit: Sometimes on launching BigBox it will freeze in Platfrom view even on Default and you have to end task as you can't do anything. Edit: After deleting the following everything seems to be fine now, except the clear logos still do not change upon theme change. \LaunchBox\Data\BigBoxSettings.xml \LaunchBox\Data\ListCache.xml \LaunchBox\Images\Cache-BB

working in the options menu and going 'back' really lags, anyone else?
-
You can move horizontally now, however it still remains you cannot reduce the row gap. no worries bud. Just quickly put this together, its not the same as the original theme in Attract Mode or the actual Arcade Machine, just working with what we got. nesica.mp4
