  1. No RA doesn't complicate things. Very much simplifies them. You can drag and drop your roms into launchbox, and then drag your media into the right folder from hyperspin, or just point launchbox to that install. Mostly, it all just works. Recommend resubbing from emumovies to start fresh and have lb download the media it wants from their servers, but works either way. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  2. Step one: open a game. Games need to be open for the menu to appear. With game open press f1 if you haven't changed it, which will bring up the menu, go to "quick menu" then scroll down to shaders set shader passes to one or more, then click and find the shaders you want. 3. If I understand your question right, you should use the mame version that coincides with your romset. In you case .178 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  4. Maybe.... but I mean how do you close the game regularly? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  5. This method will preserve all metadata as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  6. I don't know how to do it that way, but if you delete all the games in a system, then readd from the new folder (don't download any of the artwork etc, it'll still be there) you should be golden. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  7. Need a lot more info. What emulator are you using for starters Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  8. Do the games not have an exit back to desktop option in the menu? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  9. I'm glad you got it sorted. Sorry I couldn't be more helped. I was stumped Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  10. Welcome to the fray. I'm pleased to announce that you already write better than your namesake. (I'm making fun of James Agee) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  11. It sounds like you scraped that system as nes instead of super nes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  12. Well... what did you do? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  13. Um. Maybe it's pulling from what each individual system is set to display? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  14. Launchbox is portable. Just make sure whatever drive letter you port it to is the same as the one you're porting from. It helps to keep your roms and emulators inside the LB folder as well, but it isn't strictly necessary. You may just have to update the paths if they change. 15. I mean launch a game through the launchbox system "mame" or arcade if that's what you called it, and then through the launchbox system cps2. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  16. First we should eliminate variables. Launch a game from regular mame, note the core (and version and config file used) then launch from cps2 and do the same. Did you set up cps2 as a seperate system in launchbox? Are the settings the same? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  17. And this only happens on 2 and 3... are you using the same ra config? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  18. Yes. I think launchbox is mostly cpu driven, and we have the same one. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  19. Yes, the images will still be there and will display. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  20. If you have to improve performance* yes. There are a bunch of tricks. But your computer is just about the same as mine, so I doubt you'll have to. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  21. I noticed a performance boost putting Launchbox on a solid state, but there isn't much you can do with 30 - 40 gigs. Ultimately, this is going to depend on how much stuff you're intending to put into Launchbox. If you're the type of person who has small lists of games you play and only import a few per system, go the SSD route. If you're full list on everything, definitely use the HDD. I have nothing but LaunchBox and Artwork on a 500 gig SSD and I only have about 100 gigs left. You could attempt to save some space by not downloading videos or manuals, but it sounds like you should probably just use the HDD. The performance isn't bad and there are entire threads on how to speed it up.
  22. Wait, I mean delete your games in launchbox and reimport**** Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  23. Alternately you can delete your roms, then reimport from new locations. Just import with none of the art stuff checked and it'll all be there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

You didn't have to clarify. I have a lot of video games I'm not a fan of. Haha Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  25. How do you import the new games? Just reimport the whole set... or manually? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
