  1. You should not be extracting mame roms. Turn that off and run them as zips. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  2. I haven't set it up myself, but this should help: http://www.rlauncher.com/wiki/index.php?title=MultiGame Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  3. Creating and importing the m3u files is the classiest you can do with PS right now. Import the rest as cue. For other systems with multiple disks, you can let launchbox combine games with the same name as a single game. I'm not actually sure how to swap disks on the fly for other systems though. I know Rocketlauncher lets you do it for pretty much any system.
  4. I think for many of those retro style controllers windows sees them as "generic usb controller" and doesn't differentiate Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  5. I remember a long time ago, and I'm not very savvy, but the gist was some guy realized it was actually windows that was swapping controller ids. It assigns ids on a first come first serve bases so even having multiple of the same controller, say xbox controller, plugged in, the ids will swap depending on which one you turn on first. 6. I don't think there's a way to do this without leaving all of the controllers connected at all times. RetroArch will save a controller config, but it will apply that config to whatever is plugged in at the moment. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  7. The only way you can keep the rom name is if you deselect using the launchbox database on import. Or you can manually change the names within launchbox. If you do the former, launchbox will still match your video and artwork but it will have to be named exactly like the rom. I'm not sure about the star rating Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  8. I'm sure this can be done in ahk... but I don't know how. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  9. Other than that.. I'm sort of at a loss. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  10. If you use Rocketlauncher you can set up Pause, which will allow you to browse those for a game via a Pause menu. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

What system? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks for the excellent guide! Is there a way to have wow itself bypass the loggin screen as well? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  13. They fixed the functionality that let's you turn it off for specific library items, so you don't have to kill it anymore to launch bigbox. Having said that, it may occasionally revert back to desktop configuration depending on what you launch with bigbox... so.... will you share the script? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  14. Since we're steering from the original topic just a bit, I do want to point out that in terms of featutes, the steam controller configuration is number one. It even comes with fully customizable radial menus, does like five different button activation methods (short and long pull, double tap) etc. It's incredible. It's comes with a price. As of right now it means that steam will have to be running at all times, and it tends to take over stuff you don't want it to. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  15. Launchbox is meant to be fully portable. I don't think it will leave any kind of mess in the registry if you just delete it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  16. I can help with RL, and will, but at this point even I'm starting to suggest getting launchbox set up first, and then, once you're comfortable, you can add Rocketlauncher later at any time. It does potentially make troubleshooting much more difficult. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  17. So it seems you've set up the launchbox plugin in rocketlauncher. Did you import any games into launchbox under the system name Final Burn Alpha? It's just telling you that it's looking for your launchbox xmls in that folder and not finding the one it's looking for. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  18. If you're using rocketlauncher plugin correctly, you won't ever need to use command lines in launchbox. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  19. Ok so first and foremost, do all the roms work in mame? If so, move on to rocketlauncher. You need to set up launchbox as a frontend there. It's not difficult, just make sure you're using the launchbox plugin. After that, audit your roms in RL and launch. If no problems, we've narrowed down the issue to your launchbox configuration. This is only if you want to get Rocketlauncher working. If you're new to this, I might recommend leaving out RL and just dealing with Launchbox. In other words, leave mame as your emulator. Take a screenshot of your mame emulator settings. You can do this by going to tools/manage emulators in launchbox. Post that here. You definitely made one or more missteps along the way but it's hard to figure out based on your description. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  20. I've used all of them mentioned in this thread, and they are all comparable in terms of functionality, at least they were. I think xpadder is the most intuitive, but probably you should stick with what you're using now and don't worry about switching until you run into a particular issue. 21. Did you setup rocketlauncher as your emulator? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  22. You still have to run that exodos setup, and get the conf files and point Rocketlauncher to where you store them. I just took the entire folder of them and put them in the same folder as my dosbox module and pointed RL there. It's pretty awesome being able to keep the entire set zipped and launch that way (I took the actual games out of the exodos folder structure and put them on my rom drive in a folder called Microsoft MS-DOS). The good news is it works the same way for the Win3xO set. However, because the Dosbox module needs to point to a config folder for both... your options are you can create a duplicate of the dosbox module and call it Win3xo or something and point that to the Win3x0 configs... which is what I did to get them both working at the same time, or you could try pasting the win3xo configs in the same folder as a exodos ones... that might work too. Edit: Unless there is a workaround though (or if they updated the LB database since I imported which was last year), you will have a few problems importing the zips into Launchbox. Because the naming of the exodos set is a little different, launchbox didn't find all of the exodos games and incorrectly matched some as well. Again, the database may be updated, but its something to watch out for.
Absolutely incredible theme. Clean, fast, and looks just as good for systems you don't have a lot or any art for. I wish the Switch had a signature loading screen, I'd turn it into a fade screen for Rocketlauncher. Also need to get some uniform bezels in different aspect ratios to complete the experience. Again, awesome work, awesome theme!
  23. He's selling other people's work. It's a dick move. If he makes every scrap of artwork and video and wanted to put together LB without a lisence, I'd still feel bad for his "customers", who think they are buying time but really are not because they will be flooding the forums now with questions. But he didn't do that. He's selling what's freely available and beyond any legality (I can almost guarentee he's either providing a lisence or selling dupes of his on the sly) it is still a dick move.
