    It might just be a typo with the _gameinfo, it should be -gameinfo right?

    Also the gameinfo one has a underscore when the other two don't.

    Uncheck those two so it matches mine. also i don't have any command lines in mine, are you sure those are correct?

    Make sure that your emu settings in Tools/Manage Emulators looks like this image.

    You can go to the options in bigbox and select the "switch to desktop mode" option.

    If it is a romset/mame mismatch the easiest thing and quickest would be to just to use the 0.178 version of mame. It can be downloaded from Here.

    OK,that is likely the issue, are a lot of the games you are testing capcom games?

    What number romset are you using? You say you are using mame version 0.190 are your roms the same? Also which games have you tried that won't load, don't need a whole list just a few.

    I am not sure if that is actually a released theme or not. It doesn't look familiar to me at least as one of his released themes. He is always tinkering with themes so it might just be a quick mockup to demonstrate the custom controls he made. Only @Grila would be able to answer that for you.

    Just go to your arcade platform on the left of launchbox, then click on a game then ctrl a to highlight them all, then go to tools/change roms folder path.

    Yes that is correct there is, but MAME also needs to know where your roms are, so if you have just moved them you will have to tell MAME the new location also.

    I would also check first that your games launch OK through just MAME by itself, if they do then we can narrow it down to a launchbox configuration issue. If they don't load through just MAME as well then we would need to troubleshoot there first before even starting on your Launchbox configuration.

    Well that image has a different name to the default, is it a playlist rather than a platform?

    Close Launchbox, go to your Launchbox/Data/platforms folder and delete the .xml from there.

    Yeah agreed, that sounds like a lot of quality of life issues fixed there.

    Hi and welcome to the community. It is absolutely fine to re install into the same folder, all your folders will not be touched, just the .exe and any .dll's required.

    You are perfectly entitled to your opinion, and they are just that opinions. My opinion is that ColEm just works, at least for me, i launch games through Launchbox with it with no issues at all, i didn't even need any command line parameters just pointed Launchbox at the exe and imported my roms. So for me that was a lot easier to setup and use than going the mess route, but as i said, opinions.

    If its stored in the Launchbox/Images/Playlists folder i believe it does, so might be worth trying that yes. Sorry i don't have any playlists personally, so i can't check it on my setup.

    Yeah that way will be used across all themes if placed there. It's weird though it should work just fine in the theme folder. Have you placed it in a folder called Metroid or is the logo in the clear logo folder by itself? When you refreshed the cache did you use the refresh all option?

    Ok have you tried just putting it in the main images folder rather than the theme one? It would be Launchbox/Images/Playlists/name of your playlist/Clear Logo.
