If you scroll to the bottom of your file page there is a "file actions" dropdown, drop that down and choose "edit details" then if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page there is a link to "click here if you would like to upload a new version of the file or screenshot".

I have moved this thread from Website/Forum help to the trouble shooting section.
-
So you are trying to upload a file and want to add screenshots?
-
Hi and welcome to the community. Well that's a strange one, there should be no difference between Launchbox and Bigbox. Bigbox just reads the configuration files from your Launchbox setup. If you go to your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder is your CPS III .xml there?
-
Sorry I am not quite sure I understand the question, what are you trying to achieve?

How to organize and what to import? Looking for the best way to go about...
neil9000 replied to Whistler NL's topic in Noobs
Well this will of course in the end come down to personal preference. The way I do it is even though I am from the UK, I generally only import the USA games into Launchbox as they are generally 60fps Vs the 50fps of the pal roms, then I manually add any pal games that I am aware of that were not released in the USA, like Zero Wing on the Megadrive for example, which was JAP and EUR only. I do keep all the other region roms in there respective folders just in case I hear of a great game that I don't have imported, so it's just a simple process of adding that single game to my Launchbox collection. -
Yeah absolutely, that's why I wanted to check it and if I had seen anything dodgy I would of removed it. It looks OK to me though, just a folder full of .resx files. I'm going to leave it there.

You are probably right to be wary about a first time post, but it appears to me to be OK. Although I do not do any translation work, does this look legitimate to you?
-
No probs.

Welcome to the community. This depends on which version you are running. If you are on the latest beta then they go in Launchbox/Videos/Startup, if you are on a older version you can only have one startup video and it has to be called startup, so startup.mp4 for example and this is simply placed in the Launchbox/Videos folder.

Thanks for the theme update @eatkinola, I can confirm that as expected that the arcade playlists are now working correctly for me, thanks again for bearing with me on that one to get it fixed, it's much appreciated. However I do have a couple of observations for the latest version, sorry. I can also confirm what @DragoonDemon4 said on the download page that webm videos don't play in either VLC or WMP, so none of my steam game video's play, sorry I hadn't noticed that before. I assume this is just a simple issue of a missing file type in your .dll? Secondly, There is no background image for commodore 64, not a big issue as I know the theme is still a work in progress. However it does not show the default PC image for some reason either, I just have a blank space and can hear the video playing in the background (see attached pic). Thanks again for all your time and effort spent on creating this theme.

Both of the above, You have the option to include or exclude any images you like, by checking, unchecking as you see fit.

@dewe64y could you zip your theme, then start a convo here, and drag the zip into the part below that says "Drag files here"

Hi @dewe64y. What is impossible to upload?

Video Discussion: What Retroarch SNES core is right for you ?
neil9000 replied to Lordmonkus's topic in Videos
I have a somewhat beastly PC I think, at least in regards to emulation. I am really enjoying the higan core at the moment. I never touched it as a stand alone due to complexity and lack of knowledge on my part of how to use it. The Retroarch core has been 100% spot on for me. -
Yep all good now thanks @Hexxxer.

Thanks @Hexxxer, I thought I may of been being a little petty, but i'm glad it sticks out for you also. Thanks again.

lol, well glad it's all working again for you.
-
If you go into your Launchbox/Updates folder there should be updates in there including the one you are currently running. You can just install any of them directly over the top of your Launchbox install.
-
Hi @Hexxxer thanks for the update, I am really liking the slide in info bar at the side. However one little issue I have is I use your ruby theme for it and there isn't a ruby coloured side bar just black. It's not a deal breaker just looks a little weird to me, any chance of a ruby coloured side bar to complete the theme for me? Thanks again.

Thanks' for the updated .dll @eatkinola, unfortunately the issue still persists. I get the individual arcade cabinets while browsing my arcade playlists, but as soon as I click on one to enter the games list I still get the default PC background image. I am not sure what other information I could provide at this point, the only other thing I can think of is if I zipped up my data folder and pm'd it to you so you could test with my setup on your system? Thanks again for all your help trouble shooting this with me, if there is anything else I can do to help or test just say. Cheers, Neil.

The Retroarch PS1 core can be set to cache the whole cd image when a game is launched, not sure if the other disc based emulators offer a similar option though. Might be worth checking the emulators you are using. Also if you have a small sd card laying around you could test before committing to spending the money on a large size card.
