  1. Ah fair enough then, yeah it's gorgeous on PC, i only have a gtx 770, but i run it maxed at 1080p and lock the frame rate to 30fps, which is all it is on consoles anyway, but it looks waaayy better.
  2. If you have only played the Witcher 3 main game, then Blood and Wine is well worth getting it's a great expansion. And if you have the hardware it looks gorgeous on PC.
  3. Yep that's another good way to do it.
  4. Well i really don't know what else to suggest for you unfortunately. I'm really sorry that we couldn't get this sorted for you.
  5. The import windows games only imports games that are in the windows start folder, so if your game is not in there it won't get picked up. The easiest way to add them is manually, use the add button at the bottom right, in the add application browse to your .exe. Also make sure that you tell it the correct platform towards the top right of the window. Like this.
  6. My seagate was 8 months old and came with a two year warranty, so yeah it went back today. Only problem being is im obviously going to get a seagate replacement and im not sure if i have big enough balls to actually use it!!
  7. Well i just RMA'd my 5TB Seagate Expansion Desk drive today, so i would also say avoid Seagate.
  8. When you download them manually from emumovies they will be in zip packs, so you will get like 100 per pack so it's not as bad as it sounds.
  9. Or i could use my intel nuc on a second monitor for marque's.
  10. Well i have a old windows tablet in a drawer so i would be interested as well.
  11. Game video's are in launchbox/videos/nameofplatform But if you are talking about the 30 second video snaps they are not from launchbox, they are from Emumovies and you need a emumovies premium license to download them from within the launchbox ui. You can download them for free from the emumovies website but you will be limited to 1.5GB worth of downloads per day.
  12. No problems at all, yeah all themes have several views some for video some for box art etc, you can bind the change view button to controller or keyboard button if you like, i have it on the y button on my controller so i can just hit that to switch views.
  13. This plugin support was a awesome idea @Jason Carr if we are going to get plugins like what @pytsharp is proposing here. I'm looking forward to more news on this one for sure.
  14. No they are in the correct location, launchbox know's where they go You can also put them in that other theme location but they would only work in that theme so best to leave themwhere they downloaded to. It looks like you are using the metalic theme, like i said above not all the views use the video's so you may need to switch the view in options/views.
  15. Also also You may need to go to options/videos and check the boxes to enable background platform/game videos, again these are theme dependent so you may need to check which way the theme you are using want's the video's setup.
  16. That is very true, performance should be good with those specs, but its worth trying before asking for a refund. I actually gave the same advice to someone else who had good specs but performance was slow for them and they loved the results and i have seen them telling other users to do the same in other threads since. Not saying it will absolutely cure any issues, just that it's worth a shot.
  17. Just open Bigbox, go to options, then image cache and the bottom two options there are force populate image cache, depending on which view you are using you pick one or the other. Or if you really wan't to go for it you can do them both and that will force cache every image for every view.
  18. As i said the force cache will do just that it will cache all the related images to the launchbox/images/cache folder this makes retrieving said images much quicker than just scrolling through the lists, as this is a permanent hdd cache it will stay the same even after a reboot. This is a very difficult thing to troubleshoot as two people with exactly the same specs can have varying performance, and we don't know why that is the case. Also what one person finds to be slow another user may feel is completely acceptable speeds, which makes it even more difficult when comparing different systems or specs. Jason the developer works very hard to optimise the program on a regular basis and for the vast majority of people performance is very good. Then we have people with decent specs with which Bigbox should run perfectly fine saying it's slow and choppy and we just don't understand why that would be the case. As i said though if the force cache images doesn't improve things for you then email support@unbrokensoftware.com and ask for a refund, Jason is very good at refunding people who are genuinely having performance issues with the program.
  19. Also to add to that, you need to make sure that the view in whatever theme you are using support video's. Most themes have several different views and not all of them support the video's so you will have to cycle the views to find one that does.
  20. And as @DOS76 said if that doesn't solve any of your issues you are more than welcome to ask for a refund.
  21. It's possible that as its still a fairly new install that bigbox is still caching all the relevant images, clear logos etc. I don't no which theme you are using but some are much more media rich than others and will need a bit more horsepower for a smooth experience. Bigbox actually uses a gpu if you have one installed also and that can make a difference also. Have you tried force caching your images? There is a option for it in options/image cache/force populate images, this can take a while depending on collection size but will cache all images to your hdd. This should smooth out performance for you.
  22. 100% agree, i have absolutely zero artistic talent, but my BigBox looks great and that's all thanks to the wonderful artists and video creators we have here in this awesome community.
  23. Your best bet would be to email support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain the situation.
