  1. I concur, i find the retroarch core very buggy and prone to freezes and crashes.
  2. Not sure what you are trying to show there, just cause the zip has the correct name it doesnt mean the the files in that zip are correct. You are trying to use a old rom that is no longer compatible, you need newer rom files like @Retro808 already suggested. You cant just grab old MAME roms and expect them to work with current emulators, thats just not how MAME works.
  3. Actually it seems to be theme specific, the default theme is fine.
  4. Beta 4 seems to of broken how the "Arrange By" shows images, i have them in the wrong position and underneath the below games. Also on horizontal boxes there is now a background that wasn't there previously.
  5. Interesting, i have never noticed that issue with Dolphin at all on my system, i can't speak to PS3 though as i don't emulate that. Bear in mind that depending on the settings you have set in Dolphin you could be caching shaders as you play, and that does cause stutter, RPCSX3 and CEMU do the same thing as well, so it could be shader compilation you are seeing and not actual disc access issues.
  6. I doubt this would ever happen, most of the screenscraper content is simply stolen from emumovies, so i doubt that we would integrate that as we have a existing business relationship with emumovies. We also do not do gameplay snaps for the same reason, that is emumovies territory, and we dont want or need to step on their toes there.
  7. Also loading games from a SSD actually makes very little difference. Having launchbox itself on a SSD is a good idea, but its not needed for roms, i have all of mine on a 5400rpm mechanical drive and i never even notice loading times. If you feel passionate about it though hit the "help and support" tab at the top of the website and hit the request a feature link.
  8. The only time you would ever be missing files like this is if you are using the wrong emulator version for your roms. My advice use the correct emulator version for your romset rather than trying to fix something that isnt actually broken.
  9. You can also use the dropdown top left and change that to games missing media, then choose the media type below it, and you can put the platform name in the search box to narrow the list to that platform.
  10. There is a setting in the options of Bigbox to specify the monitor it's on.
  11. Not true, media in launchbox can either be named the same as your rom file, or the same as the name is displayed in Launchbox (which is pulled from and matched from our database) see below example. We are perfectly compatible with no-intro naming. Do you have a example of file names being pulled from emumovies sync tool? Also why are you even using that tool, launchbox has built in support for emumovies and will actually rename files on the fly when downloaded if needed?
  12. The option is called "close active window" in Bigbox, "Exit" is to exit Bigbox itself. You also may need to actually set the exit in MAME itself, if so you need to set your combo to the "UI Cancel" option in MAME.
  13. I'm not sure i understand what you mean here, nothing is uploaded in the sense that your statement implies, and no games that have a cue and bin will work with just the cue. Maybe you can elaborate a little more on what you mean? As to errors with imports @Jason Carr i had none on my phone at all on beta 1, but i did also now sideload it to my kindle fire tablet, and on adding platforms there no media is downloaded, it speeds through the actual import though (cause there is zero media being downloaded). Ill sideload beta 2 tonight or tomorrow and see if thats any different.
  14. I also use Google to sign into Epic, and i have 2FA turned on for both Google and Epic, and i am able to log in just fine. In the image below i have already logged in via Google and approved the sign in on my phone, i am then asked for my Auth code from my phone for Epic itseld. Logged in just fine. Id check your firewall and system security settings as it's not a general Launchbox issue.
  15. In your second image go to the "Launching" tab, whats the name of the zip actually being launched? I'm betting its a different rom version than simply "dino".
  16. Unfortunately not, a theme has to of been created in the theme creator (this theme was not), and the actual theme creator files need to be released to import into the creator (there are no such files here as it was all hand coded).
  17. I think there's a echo in here.
  18. Hold CTRL and click on the games you want to combine, right click one and choose combine selected games, and choose the one you want as default from the dropdown.
  19. As i said in my previous reply, you need a paid premium subscription to emumovies to download manuals/music/videos in Launchbox. You only have access to the low quality ones on the website with the free account, and they will have the file names not the game names when downloaded directly from their website.
  20. You do dump them in a folder if you dont have a premium emumovies account. If snaps are downloaded from within Launchbox they are renamed on the fly to match the game name, not the file name, so in your ssf2eu example, that will just show as Super Street Fighter II in the UI, so the video would of been renamed to match.
  21. If snaps were downloaded from within Launchbox they would have the game name, not the file name. What version is being used as the default is completely dependant on the options you chose in the import wizard. Like your example of ssf2eu, i'm going to assume that is Super Street Fighter II European version rom, so if you had Europe selected in your preferred region in the MAME import wizard that is the correct version. Also the parent rom of a game is often the Japanese one (as most games were made in Japan and released there first) so if you choose any region other than Japan in the import wizard you are not getting the original game for a lot of them, you will get the version for the region you specified, which isnt the parent rom, and is why the file name is different, than the likely Japanese parent rom.
  22. They are here on the forums Third-party Apps and Plugins - LaunchBox Community Forums (launchbox-app.com) but they dont go back very many versions, so depending on your version in use there may not be one. You still need the official version and you just overwrite the .exe with the one you download from here. Yes that is also likely the issue. In order to try and eliminate cheating as much as we can we have to be very strict on the emulator being used, and what we require is the official version of mame, and no forks of it, this will also mean that RocketLauncher cant be used as its not the mame.exe so we cant be sure that it is a "vanilla" mame that hasnt been edited in order to cheat. Probably for the same RocketLauncher as the emulator issue, that option works just fine here for me using mame 0.232 and the no nag exe from here on the forums.
  23. Is it madK9's no nag version from here on the forums, as that should work just fine and is what i use?
