  1. What happens if you don’t select Use Mame metadata? Might be that in Mame those games are marked not working, so using it’s metadata it doesn’t import. I never used that option and metadata always populated properly.
  2. Is your platform name called Naomi Atomiswave or Sammy Atomiswave?
  3. Do you have all your Demul games imported as Sega Naomi? The platform name has to match the associated platform name in the emulator details or it will not work. Edit: just to be clearer, that first picture is my platform view in LB
  4. Which games? Possibly games with analog controls? Once MAME starts, you should be able to hit TAB and configure inputs for each game. If it's a game with analog controls, there are options to use digital inputs mapped to analog function. You don't need Retroarch and MAME handles all the game mappings, not Big Box.
  5. I don't want to mess with my iPac testing, but you might need a small sleep after the iPac shift key (Start1) before the P1SW# key to get it to register correctly.
  6. Could you not write a simple AHK script to send Start1 key down, than send the P1SW# key down, delay for 10 seconds, than send the P1SW# key up, and finally send the Start1 key up. Than just call add this as an additional app that runs before each game/system needed? Substituting the keys you have set for P1SW1 and Start1
  7. Can you post a few more samples, especially of a video? It's a big download just to see what it is. At this point I didn't think LB/BB supported video marquees yet, how are you using them? (Or is this just for future use?)
  8. It's in the same folder as the executable? Are you trying to remap QUIT to a different keystroke or a controller? Edit: Sorry, quoted wrong person.
  9. We are NOT using using the emulation option of LB here. We are setting the singe2.exe as a direct application to launch and suppling different command line options for each game, to start that game directly without the singe2 menu. If you want to use the emulation option, you would call your BAT file instead of the singe2 application. In your BAT file you would parse the game name and than have it call the singe2 executable passing the right parameters.
  10. Somewhere in the Singe2 directory you should have a controls.cfg.example file. Edit that file and rename it controls.cfg and place it in the same folder as the executable. (It's really easy to edit, you'll see when you open it)
  11. Sorry, don't know about per game. I use Retroarch's flycast core for DC. Maybe you might have to use that for those specific games you need to remap, or use a second install of redream for racing games.
  12. Which emulator are you using for Dreamcast?
  13. Sure. This is the Application Command-Line Parameters for Mad Dog McCree 2 Remember you set the application as the Singe2 executable and emulation is turned OFF. (in LB)
  14. If you go into the main settings for Retroarch (not in the quick menu), under configuration, look to see if you have the options enabled to autoload core/content/game overrides.
  15. Right click any MAME game in LB, pick Open MAME. When MAME starts, double click Configure Options, and than double click Save Configuration. You should now have a mame.ini in your MAME directory. You can edit this file manually, or a lot of the settings can be set in the same Configure Options section of Mame. (Just remember to save after making changes)
  16. I don't see how a changed executable name would cause sound to stop working, but here's something to try. Right click on a DOS game and go to the dosbox section in the window that opens. In this section you should see and option to pick a specific version of DOSBox. Pick DOSBOX_x64.exe. Test and report if the problem persists.
  17. Does this happen with all platforms or just Mame? What version of Mame? I know 0.227 just added new artwork upgrades including marquee support. It could be coming directly from Mame.
  18. JoeViking245 is right about the focus issue. A couple questions: 1) Do you have startup screens enabled? 2) Are you calling FPLoader.exe from LB directly or using a BAT or AHK file? I ask because they can or a combination of them can cause that focus issue sometimes.
  19. When you are in BigBox, it has it's own settings for keyboard controls. Assuming your iPac is in keyboard mode (how I run mine), just set the keys to match the ones you want on your iPac4.
  20. Sure. If you right click on a game and pick Edit, in the the window that comes up you can switch between using emulation or DosBox. (Which is emulation but in LB considered different) Under the DosBox section of that window, you can also see that you can set a different version of DosBox per game as well. I do this as well. A mix of Retroarch DosBox and ExoDos games. Using Retroarch for games that default to using joystick mode especially, so I don’t need an AHK script to send keystrokes to switch to keyboard mode for some games.
  21. It could be that core isn’t fully migrated to the upgraded builtbot servers yet. I’ll check when I get home if I see it. Also, you are running a 64 bit version of Retroarch? At least in the past that core wasn’t available for 32 bit CPUs.
  22. That’s awesome. Have fun playing these great tables. Photons locked and loaded!
  23. Yes I understand why it happens, but the compiled script didn't solve it for me. Since RL is working fine, I didn't really want to diagnosis why it wasn't. Maybe once my Sinden's get here I might re-evaluate the situation since those are the only other games I use RL for. ?
  24. I grabbed the version directly from SlamT1LT's web page. Sometimes those pinball sites have so many versions it can be confusing. (VPUniverse, VPinball, PinSimDB) I always got a quick blimp of the LaunchBox screen after the start up screen and before FP started even when using a compiled AHK start up method. I use Rocketlauncher for 2 systems and Future Pinball is one of them. Since it actively waits for the FP game window, it was the cleanest option. Cnells2000, I did a complete clean install with just the BAM all in one installer and a clean download of the Star Trek table and added to LB with the options we listed above and it worked fine. In testing various things, like hidden characters in filenames, wrong passed parameters to FPLoader, the only way I could reproduce the results you had is when the /open parameter was wrong. (A bad file name produces an error and extra parameters seem to be ignored.) This makes things even weirder since if you are using those parameters as default arguments and it works for most tables, why these 2 don't? The only I could image is somehow there are custom config settings for those games that aren't properly being displayed by LB. Only suggestion I have left is go into your Launchbox -> Data -> Platforms folder and rename Future Pinball.xml. Start LB again, and you should have a Future Pinball platform. reimport those 2 games and post if the problem still exists. If it doesn;t change anything, you can delete the Future Pinball.xml and rename your previous once back.
