  1. What format is the game manual (what program is loading the file)? If it is a pdf file as long as you have it in the platform's \Launchbox\Manual folder the LB/BB Pause Menu will show the manual without need to have it as an addition app. Otherwise the JoytoKeyClose.bat file attached in earlier posts should work, just change the .exe to whatever is opening the game's manual and set the bat file to run at close.
  2. I am pretty sure that dash you have in the command line is messing up things. I just set up Mame Plus to test and it works fine.
  3. You should not have to edit the Settings.xaml. For a while now I have been able to edit the order of the columns and it retain the position on new launch of Launchbox. Is it not retaining the order? What version LB are you on?
  4. What theme are you using? I have had this happen when using a theme that is not one of the defaults. Usually if it does happen I can get it to go back to the platforms by switching to a default theme. I then change back to the one I was using after it fixes. I have not had it happen in about a month though.
  5. You would have to select the option to "Force Import Duplicate Games" in the import wizard. Also, as long as you do not select the option to "Combine Roms with Matching Titles inot Single Game" it will add it along side the other one.
  6. According to the developer on the 3DSen discord the initial release will not have command line support.
  7. What version MameUI32 are you using? Depending on how old/new it is you may need to do a couple things. 1) Make sure the Mame.ini file (not to be confused with the MameUi.ini) is located in the root Mame folder (same spot where the mame exe is) 2) if it is an old version you may need to remove -keyboardprovider dinput from the command line box in you emulator setting in LB.
  8. In the download for this theme there is a template to use to create your one banners. As well as in the description for the theme there is a link on how to create banners. There is also a thread where they are sharing additional banners that have been created.
  9. That version of mame is very old. You will have to go into Manage Emulators and edit Mame. Remove the line below from the default command line field. -keyboardprovider dinput
  10. Ah shoot I missed that part in your first post. Is Windows fully updated and all your video drivers? I have not seen any of those cut lcd's need any drivers installed. Usually just plug and play.
  11. You should be able to right click on your desktop and choose display settings. Then select that monitor and scroll down to the bottom and select advance settings. On that next page click on Display adapter properties option and it should give you a pop-up window like in the image where hopefully you can change. As you can see on my lcd cut off monitor it has options for and 68Hz and 60Hz. Or in your Nvidia or AMD GPU software if you are using any there should be options in there as well.
  12. Check you refresh rate of the cut lcd. Some of those cut lcd will be set at a different refresh rate like 55Hz and can mess with BigBox.
  13. It just needs to be in this folder above. Which would be the same folder you would see the Mame64.exe and the MameUI.ini.
  14. Also since you are using MameUI you need to make sure your Mame.ini file (not talking about the MameUI.ini) is in the root folder where the Mame exe is. MameUI likes to store the Mame.ini file in the Ini folder and it needs to be in the root so LB can have the command line work. This would be one of the main issue why LB could not launch the games.
  15. That is incorrect. It can be in any folder you want as long as you update the rom path inside Mame.
  16. Again, it might not be themes related. It was an avenue I think was looked it. I do remember Jason saying something about an issue with the Chromium embedded framework causing some problems. This was something though he worked on in prior betas. There is some information in the beta threads. Some of us has mentioned to the team it still randomly occurs.
  17. No. It is something I know the team has looked out. It is not something the user can tweak in a theme and I am not confident it was pinned down to custom themes. It was one of the areas that was looked at. There have even been cases with LB hanging on shutdown.
  18. LaunchBox does not care about the support files like the qsound.zip or bios files. That is only relative to Mame. LB simply sends a command line to Mame to run the specified game. First thing to do is to always confirm your games launch directly in the emulator before importing. I know you said the game with the missing qsound file worked in mame. Is that the case for other games? Do they run in Mame? A few other questions: Did you import a selection of games or the full working Mame rom set? What Mame are you using (Regular command line Mame, MameUI, Arcade64) and what version (what version # is it)?
  19. This is something that has been happening to some users. Recent updates did rectify it for some users. I still get the random hang up like this. It has been linked in some cases to BigBox themes, at least I believe I saw that in a couple posts. What theme are you using? Also what version LB/BB are you on?
  20. There are no tutorials to modifying a LaunchBox theme. If you are not familiar with it, it can be a trial an error process. It is not too hard though. Best way to start is find a theme with a close enough view to what you want. Make a copy of it can all it what you want. Then edit that theme. If you want to change where the images show in the game details pane you will want to go into the theme's folder and go to the views folder. From there use something like Notepad++ (standard notepad will work, but ++ is a cleaner look with xaml files) to edit the GameDetailsView.xaml. If you look for a line item that typically references "ScreenshotImages" or "ScreenshotsVisibility" that would be what you want to move. Depending on the theme it is usually located within a StackPanel. So moving those lines or code above other items in the stack panel will place it above them in the view.
  21. Nothing so far looks out of place. There is one pic missing I had asked to see also. Can you edit a game and share what is showing in the Emulation tab.
  22. Is it a controller button binding or a keyboard key?
  23. Hi! I will check on this. I have not looked at what priority image options were available in free versions. So I cannot confirm what has changed.
  24. As a setting there is not a way as you can only select one Startup theme. What can be done is have one theme that has different views per platform. A theme can be created that has individual xml files per platform so each could have a different look/view.
