  1. Ah good catch @neil9000 I glanced over the part he mentioned Win 7.
  2. I use the same one and it works well. Left thumb stick moves the mouse cursor. Pressing R3 chooses the game/option. I do have the button checked for Use All Controllers. Maybe try ticking that box. Also try starting the controller before you open Launchbox and see if it shows in the dropdown then. I had that issue when I first set it up and did that and it worked. After that it would always show up.
  3. If this is the same issue you posted here there is no need to open a new thread on it. Have you tried to reimport one of the same games to see if it sticks? During the import process you should see a check box for "Force Importing duplicates" check that and see what happens. I would also recommend looking in your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder for your PS2 xml and opening it to see if the games are listed in it. If they are there then an option you have in LB is likely hiding the games. Also make sure for some odd reason there are not 2 PS2 xml files.
  4. OBS and the Game DVR built into Windows 10 are free. I have not used Fraps but a quick hop to their website showed a free 'restricted" version and a paid "unrestricted" version. You have to link your premium account in Launchbox then manually choose to rescan for videos. The media import wizard will have check boxes so you can uncheck image media and just leave the video boxes checked.
  5. Well, best thing is to post on the creators thread and tag them or send a PM about it. I would always recommend sending a note out of professional courtesy. Yes, hopefully he is joking.
  6. What exactly do you mean? Are you wanting to use something someone created?
  7. You actually will not bind the specific action to a combination of buttons you bind a "hold" or HotKey and then you bind a button for each action. In RA find the input then Input Hotkey Binds options. Go to "Enable Hotkey" and bind that to your Left Thumbstick. In that same menu section bind your Save, Load, and Reset to your button of choice and do that for all that you need.
  8. Just to be clear when you say "database" you mean your Launchbox, correct? Not to be confused with the database we have called Games DB. Make sure you do not have any of the "Hide" options ticked under the View menu in LB.
  9. No worries. Also forgot to say post a link to that ticket here. The more users vote for it the more likely Jason would look to adding it.
  10. @Mr. RetroLust good looking theme!
  11. I recommend also sending an official feature request using the link at the top of the forum. Under Help & Support there is a “Request a Feature” link.
  12. Can you provide some more details? Does this happen with certain emulators or all? If certain one or ones can you advise which? What version Launchbox are you on?
  13. Are you using Launchbox only or BigBox as well?
  14. Hmm not sure. It should work. I know in your other thread you said you got a code from Zen Studios as well. Just want to confirm you need 2 codes from them. 1 for PBFX2 and a separate code for PBFX3. You did get two correct?
  15. Did you get a cabinet support code from Zen Studios for Pinball FX3?
  16. The area highlighted if you click and hold on the gray line you can drag it down. Like resizing a window.
  17. The Dreamcast cores are right there in the drop down. In the pic I added the Dreamcast platform then clicked the drop down and there are the two Dreamcast cores showing. Sames as the two cores in RA (redream_libretro and reicast_libretro).
  18. Were these the steps you tried?
  19. As long as you are on a version from 7.12 to current, videos should play full length. The video (or videos as it will randomize) simply need to be put inside a folder called "Startup" located inside \Launchbox\Videos folder. If you do not have that folder there create one. The videos can be named anything. Just place them all in that specific folder. BigBox should then play them in full.
  20. Thanks @Kondorito glad my feeble coding skills is somewhat useful in the community. ?? If the simple version of the theme is at all useful to you please do so. Thanks again.
  21. Yeah it should be fixed at least I remember Jason putting a fix out for something with playlists and auto-updates not happening. I am on the latest beta and just tested adding a new game to a manual playlist and the count updated. I think the other machine is still on 9.3. I will check and if so test on 9.3.
  22. @Sithel Thanks for the heads up. I tested with several themes and see the same as you. I will let Jason know. Glad the edited theme is what you wanted.
  23. @Sithel Test this and let me know if it will work. If you want random platform art it has to have all the images in the backgrounds folder. You can remove art for any system you do not have to reduce size more. I tested with quite a few systems and no issue, but let me know if you have any. Simple.zip "Simple" has no game images, cart/disc images. Just Unified backgrounds, Platform clear logo, Game clear logo, and Now Loading text.
  24. What version Launchbox/BigBox are you on? This was an issue before, but Jason did update and it was fixed.
  25. I would recommend the AHK below instead. The original code will work, this one just properly closes the emulator instead of forcing it closed. This is better to also use with emulators that have save states that will require the game/emulator to be exited properly to create the save state. This was identified from an issue with Higan and the original code. It did not close Higan how it wanted to be closed and was not properly saving games on exit. You can use it with any emulator. Just simply change the "Jnes.exe" to the name of the emulator's .exe. $ESC::WinClose, ahk_exe Jnes.exe
