@y2guru Watched this last night and have to say this is impressive. Looking forward to a release and put me on a list if you ever decide to do a beta test.

Videos have to be downloaded. In Launchbox go to Tools>Download Platform and Playlist Theme Media. Clear Logos if you do not have them for systems can be downloaded from the forum in the downloads sections. There are various styles for you to choose from.

Just to be clear, Refried is the theme. Refried has several “views” you can choose from in it. The pic you shared is a full screen video view. You can change it to look like this pic. Both are the Refried theme. You need to map a button to “Switch View” also. Not just “Switch Theme”

Have you mapped a button to be able to change views? Themes have multiple views. In BigBox in option use either keyboard or controller section to map a key/button to be able to change themes as well as change views in themes. Looks like you have Refried theme showing full screen videos in platfrom view.

Make sure you are not accidentally running BigBox as admin. Also, If you are using something like MameUI or Arcade64 make sure your Mame.Ini is located in the root folder of your Mame where the Mame exe is. If it is not there look in the Ini folder for it and place it in the root folder. Although this may not be an issue as that usually affects both LaunchBox and BigBox.

You should be able to get the look you want adjusting box spacing settings in this area of the Launchbox options.

Since you are starting from scratch once you get everything downloaded first set up the emulator and the roms and test that everything is working outside of Launchbox. This way when you go to import if it does not work we know it is an issue with your setup in Launchbox and not your emulator setup. If it does not work share pics like the ones Monkus posted.

Would you add some more information to be better able to assist. Does it do this will all emulators or only certain ones? If only certain ones which are they? What version LaunchBox/BigBox are you on? Does the same issue occur if you launch a game in LaunchBox as opposed to BigBox? By chance are you running BigBox as admin (it is not recommended you do this by the way)? As for your refund that is something that can only determined by the developer and an email using the "Contact Us" is your best avenue for discussing that since it will be direct. If you do not get a timely response please let us know here.

Do you have clear logo images for those two systems? Check your Launchbox\Images\Platforms\Sony Playstation\Clear Logo folder to make sure on is in there. Do the same for Playstation 2. If they are open BigBox and go to the settings menu then Options-Image Cache and choose Refresh Image Cache.

Only if the emulator needs the filed removed from an archive.

So, getting back to beta testing @Jason Carr I did not get a lock up in attract mode last night with the new beta. ??

Uncheck the Extract Rom option in your first pic. Mame files need to stay zipped.

Unfortunately it did not get many votes on the last community poll. I think it only got around 10 votes. So it is on the radar, just not a heavily requested feature. Maybe next poll it will make the cut.

Ah good catch @neil9000 I glanced over the part he mentioned Win 7.

I use the same one and it works well. Left thumb stick moves the mouse cursor. Pressing R3 chooses the game/option. I do have the button checked for Use All Controllers. Maybe try ticking that box. Also try starting the controller before you open Launchbox and see if it shows in the dropdown then. I had that issue when I first set it up and did that and it worked. After that it would always show up.

If this is the same issue you posted here there is no need to open a new thread on it. Have you tried to reimport one of the same games to see if it sticks? During the import process you should see a check box for "Force Importing duplicates" check that and see what happens. I would also recommend looking in your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder for your PS2 xml and opening it to see if the games are listed in it. If they are there then an option you have in LB is likely hiding the games. Also make sure for some odd reason there are not 2 PS2 xml files.

OBS and the Game DVR built into Windows 10 are free. I have not used Fraps but a quick hop to their website showed a free 'restricted" version and a paid "unrestricted" version. You have to link your premium account in Launchbox then manually choose to rescan for videos. The media import wizard will have check boxes so you can uncheck image media and just leave the video boxes checked.

Well, best thing is to post on the creators thread and tag them or send a PM about it. I would always recommend sending a note out of professional courtesy. Yes, hopefully he is joking.

What exactly do you mean? Are you wanting to use something someone created?

You actually will not bind the specific action to a combination of buttons you bind a "hold" or HotKey and then you bind a button for each action. In RA find the input then Input Hotkey Binds options. Go to "Enable Hotkey" and bind that to your Left Thumbstick. In that same menu section bind your Save, Load, and Reset to your button of choice and do that for all that you need.

Just to be clear when you say "database" you mean your Launchbox, correct? Not to be confused with the database we have called Games DB. Make sure you do not have any of the "Hide" options ticked under the View menu in LB.

Can you provide some more details? Does this happen with certain emulators or all? If certain one or ones can you advise which? What version Launchbox are you on?
