I have it working with an very simple AHK script in the manage emualotrs tab. This is the ahem...non steam version of FX3. Since I use an xarcade tankstick the AHK makes one of my buttons act as enter to allow hiscore entry. Not sure if same will work with steam.

Can you give an example of an emulator it does it with. Early on I had AMD and it did not play nicely with marquee set up and some emulators. I was able to get it sorted but it was over a year ago and I honestly do not remeber the driver version. I got rid of it and moved to Nvidia. I only remember it was a rollback from the latest that was available early 2017. Not saying it is a driver issue. Just sharing a similar experience.

Like Rincewind said if all is good in Next than you will be good to go in the future since that will replace the current standard version. In the meantime try switching to Windows Media as the video setting in Launchbox and see if that affects the playback. It has helped for some members. It did for me.

They are xinput but I am not sure if the issue related to xinput vs dinput. I have a Xbox One controller I use on machine and 8Bitdo controllers I use on another in xinput setting with no lag issue mentioned. I have tested several other controllers without being able to replicate the issue. I do not have a Xbox 360 controller to test..

No worries. Easy enough to tag Jason as Dan posted. But to be honest, Jason has mentioned he is likely not doing any development on the current version and is focusing on getting Launchbox Next up to speed to release from Beta. I believe he said he will not be keeping both. So I would recommend using Next more that way if you have any feature requests or notice any issues you can post about them.

It may be some Jason never put in place for that view. It does display in Launchbox Next so it is likely Jason will not fix it in the current Launchbox since Launchbox Next will replace it.

If you click "All" in the left hand pane of Launchbox to view all the game in one list do those games that are missing from the PC Game platform show up there? If so, edit and change the platform back to PC Games platform name.

Are you running Launchbox as admin by chance? I had a similar issue like this when I first started here (different emulator) and it was due to errantly running LB as admin.

Are you using MameUI or command line version of Mame? Also it would be helpful if you share pics of the following items: 1. In tools go to manage emulators and choose to edit your mame set-up. Share a pic of the emulator details tab and the associated platforms tab. 2. Right click on a game and choose edit. Share a pic of the launcher tab and emulation tab

He is talking about the marquee image on a second screen. What you are showing changes the box art image. Right now the default for a marquee image is the marquee folder. In the absence of an image there it defaults to box art folder. There is not an image priority option for marquee like there is for boxart and background image priorities.

It would be possible to add, but likely will not happen anytime soon. Upgrades to marquee support just missed the cut off line from the last poll. So we may have to be patient on this. I am hoping soon enough we can get some additional upgrades to marquee support as it is something I use on each of my setups. I would love if marquees could display gifs or videos.

Just tested a few games and no sound issues. Are you running stable version of beta of Dolphin? Try the one you are not running and see if you still get the issue.

Is this happening every time you try to import? If you edit a single game and try to download media does it not work there as well? I have been importing new stuff the last few days and no issues getting media from Emumovies.

Not sure what is going on. I have two setups with marquee screens on them, both are Windows 10 (1803), and BigBox screen numbers match what Windows identifies. I did have an issue before where Windows would flip the screen numbers without notice and mess up BigBox and Mame as well. Removing and reinstalling the video driver seemed to fix.

All featrues in Launcbhox will be in Next. Jason is still working on getting everything coded into Next.

In addition to what @DOS76 already said about affecting elevation...it is likely Explorer and Launchbox will not be running on the same level so you will lose the ability to drag and drop games into Launchbox. There are posts on this forum about the issue with running as admin.

I am not the most knowledgable in AHK (so there may be a better way), but what I have done is created a batch file that kills the AHK on exit from a game. Then I run it as an additional app and choose "run after main application" in the options. In my whole library I only use this on maybe 6 games and it works well. The batch file contains a simple script to kill the AHK.exe running. taskkill.exe /F /IM Game_Exit.exe You would replace Game_Exit.exe with the actual name of the AHK script .exe you are using.

So far so good Jason. New beta working well.

Let's take a look on one system and see if we can find the issue. Let's target Gameboy. Would you post pics of some items from Launchbox? 1. Go to a game in your Gameboy platform, right click and post pics of the launcher tab and the emulation tab. 2. Go to tools > manage emulators and click on Retroarch and edit. In the edit screen post a pic of the emulator details tab and the associated platforms tab. Expand any columns so we can read the full lines listed (specifically those for Core and Extra Command Line Parameters) . Somewhere something is disconnected and that is what Monkus is trying to help decipher.

Cid's themes do show game count for playlists on the individual playlist level. From the platform category level though in both CZ-Blue and Unified themes they do not show accurate count. So I would say post on one of Cid's theme sub-forums and see if he can elaborate if it is possible.

What theme are you using? I think the game count when it comes to playlists has to be coded in the theme. So that is likely why for the total of handlheld it is off.

Yes, In the game edit menu you can set a AHK for a unique game as an additional application. You can set the AHK to run before the main app, after the main app, or wait for exit. Vjoy I am not sure and I do not use Vjoy for anything.

BigBox will display marquees images on a second monitor. Launchbox does not. Also there is currently no support for a 3rd monitor. Some updated marquee/multiple monitor support is something I have been hoping for since I joined. Some upgrades to marquee support just missed the cut this last poll that Jason put out for upgrade requests so maybe next poll it can happen.
