  1. Best answer is to not use RA for Mame. Their core is crap. Use standalone mame. Most likely issue as to why you cannot get LB to launch mame games through RA is you have the option to extract rom ticked Edit Retroarch in LB (>Tools >Manage >Emulators) and see if you have the box checked to "Extract Rom archive before running" checked. If so, uncheck it.
  2. Do not need a script. Just bind your controller buttons in LB/BB. LB/BB will exit many emulators using an Xbox controller easily. In LB bind to the option for "Exit Game" and it can be a 2 button combo. In BB bind for the option listed as "Close Active Window". BB has the option to bind for a 2 button combo as well.
  3. Sale is over. Price is back to normal. There will likely be another one in November. There is sometimes a Black Friday sale.
  4. 1. Edit Retroarch in LB (>Tools >Manage >Emulators) and see if you have the box checked to "Extract Rom archive before running" checked. If so, uncheck it. 2. Use standalone Mame. RA Mame is crap.
  5. You can create a “Platform Category” and call it “Playlists” and add them all there. “Platforms” are only for imported games.
  6. What exactly do you mean? Creating playlists for shooter games or any other game type still works. Perhaps explain exactly what you are doing and show pics.
  7. I removed the spam links from your 3 posts since joining. Another post with spam and you will be banned.
  8. What version is the Mame executable you are using? I believe this is the error spit out if someone tries to use the full mame import against an older version of the Mame executable or when using an "unofficial" Mame emulator.
  9. Ah I completely missed the Steam part. Yeah the team is working on Steam metadata issues.
  10. Try going into LB tools and forcing a metadata update. Just tested using only “Resident” and it easily brought it up within the returned options.
  11. If you delete the LB DB Game ID in the metadata field and just enter "Resident" and search does bring up all version available for you to select the right one?
  12. Its because in your. \Data folder you have a file called Sony Playstation - Copy.xaml. Only thing in the \Data folders should be the files LB creates. If you create any backup files for platforms or playlists and store them there LB will try to read them. Keep those files in a folder outside of the \Data folders.
  13. Should not be a path issue with the theme. Its coded using standard bindings. Just tested moving videos for a couple platforms (6 in total) to a custom folder and updating the path for videos in LB and theme works fine. I would double check the video path (Edit the platform in LB and make sure in the folders tab the video path is correct). Unsure why only this theme would be an issue.
  14. Works fine here. If you are not using default folder locations did you update LB folder paths for each platform inside of LB?
  15. Emuline is typically one of the better sites. The word "easy" and TP roms are not good buddies. LOL. Running games through TP is definitely not as bad as it used to be.
  16. Delete the \LB folder. LB does not really install files that you need to run an uninstall for. It does install some MS dependancies if your machine does not have it, but that not needed to uninstall since it is Microsoft .Net
  17. There was not an answer to your question about hiring because Jason did not reply so be patient with him as he is likely not up and working yet. I was simply providing context to your statement about delays and if you had actually specified Android I could have responded specifically to that. Android will continue to develop which is why Jason is hiring or maybe already has hired to have someone who can focus on that. So the new position should help bring more frequent updates.
  18. The staff Jason was hiring for is web development and android development. Not sure what you mean by updates of LB has been recently delayed. LB updates for years have come pretty consistently with each year seeing easily 10-15 updates. This year we have 6 releases, so on par with number of releases all the prior years. If you take advantage of the $45 price for the lifetime you never have to worry about updates as you will always be able to get them.
  19. You have Launchbox embedded in a double \Launchbox folder. It should be \Launchbox You have it as \Launchbox\Launchbox Take everything in the \Launchbox\Lunchbox folder and cut and paste in one folder up. Into \Launchbox.
  20. support@unbrokensoftware.com is the correct avenue for license concerns. Give them at least 24-48 to respond.
  21. Just drop a copy of your license into a build on another one of your own pc/laptops. Again "your own". Share it with a friend or others and it will get blacklisted.
  22. No, LB does not make playlists based off a folder name. Honestly, I think this is the first I have seen a user post trying to do it this way. Most (not saying all do this, just most seem to) users typically have roms for a platform all in one folder and then let the software create the playlist based on metadata. Indeed they did. That is why you see LB can either create a bunch of predetermined child playlists for each system or the user can just manually create a playlist based on multiple requirements of choice. When you make a playlist just tick the box to make it an auto-populating playlist and set that parameters. If you are not checking the box to "Auto-Populate" the palylist you made you just create the playlist then save it. You then go into each platform (or go into all games) and select one or as many games as you want then bulk add them to that playlist. It is not done from within the create new playlist window.
  23. Launchbox can make the M3U, but that is not the issue. The emulator has to support M3U format. I do not believe any of the stand-alone emulators for those system do.
  24. In the Associated Platform tab do you have your Neo Geo platform listed there? Also does the name exactly match what you called it in LB? In other words...If you called it Neo Geo AES in LB but the Associated Platform for the emulator shows SNK Neo Geo AES it will not work. It needs to be exactly as you named it in LB. >If the above fixes your issue good. If not do what is listed below. Post the following pics so we can see you exact set-up. >Right click and edit a Neo Geo game that is not working 1. Post pic of the Details page 2. Post pic of the Emulation page 3. Post pic of the Launching page In LB >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit the emulator you are using for Neo Geo games 1. Post pic of Details page 2. Post pic of Associated Platforms page.
