Zombeaver's PCSX2 Configs / Simple 1-Click Installs With PCSX2 Configurator

Recommended Posts

When a config is downloaded or updated, this message box will appear:

image.png.7833171393029bbd4cad783d9ca35c2b.png@alec100_94 I am noticing something strange specifically with Soul Calibur III's config - when I try to redownload it, it's now creating a folder named SoulCalibur III (no space) as opposed to Soul Calibur III as it's been in the past (and is still named this way in my library), and it still has it listed with a space in the custom command-line field, so it then doesn't find the rest of the config and it gives an error about not being able to find the plugins. It would appear that the name has changed in the Games DB since the config was originally uploaded (from Soul Calibur III to SoulCalibur III now). I think this could be fixed by making the command-line parameter use the DB name rather than your library title.

If you had just imported the game into your library, presumably there wouldn't be a problem, because it would have named it SoulCalibur III on import and everything would work.

Use remote settings is greyed out (on everything except Suikoden 5!) Any clues how to fix?

Edit 1: Think i now know the issue , Doesn't support zipped/7z?

Edit 2: Not sure if thats the problem

I don't know what would cause that, @alec100_94 would have to chime in there. He said that might indicate a network problem, though I don't know what you would need to do to resolve it.

I doubt that's an issue, but I don't know.

@Gilanth what games are you trying to use the plugin with, only games on this list have remote settings, the rest will have the box greyed out. Can't think of any other reason why it would be greyed out on some games, but not others.

Does it need to be a certain path as the emu is in pcsx2 1.5.0 34433663 folder for instance(the latest build number)

No that shouldn't make a difference, the plugin will just read the path from launchbox. That box should be enabled if the game is on the list above, it essentially just makes a request to that page, does the one game that isn't greyed out download a config?

Probably won't help but can you post a screenshot of your library?

And, just to confirm, the ones that its downloading are working correctly? If Tekken 5 is working correctly, the cutscenes will look normal - if not, there will be vertical lines in them.

Then you still have remains of the old version installed, Luckily I have a thing to fix that.

First completely delete the "PCSX2 Configurator" folder from the plugins folder.

Put "PCSX2 Configurator Cleaner.dll" in your plugins directory (you may need to unblock it)

Run Launchbox after it loads up close it again

Reinstall Plugin

I would also advise you remove your downloaded configs and let the new version re-download them

Just out of interest how are you running .7z files in PCSX2?

PCSX2 Configurator Cleaner.dll

How can I update to a new PCSX2 without overwriting the configs, just extract over the top of existing?

Yes. You'll probably need to start up PCSX2 once afterwards, to set the bios, etc. but that's it. The game configs will be fine.

I recently got a new HDD to move all my games/emulators too including LB. My configs seemed to have stopped working and configuration only opens up PCSX2 so I have to manually configure each game. Also remote is greyed out too. Also this error pops up sometimes.
