refried Unified Refried 2.0 .1

Best bigbox theme. I'm having problems with the favorites theme. It does not work.

The Nintendo Switch theme has a little problem, the carts spin as if they were discs.

You need to toggle to the other views for carts where you don't want to see it spinning, see below for the view types (i.e, view #1 and #2).

There are multiple views included with the default theme,including -

1.Border with No Box/Cart/Disc Art

2.Border with Box/Cart/Disc Art

3.Border with Box/Spinning Cart/Disc Art

4.Full Screen Video w/Centered enlarged wheel

5.Border Text List View with Box/Cart/Disc Art

 

Edit: Sorry, or are you talking with the addon?  which then would be glitch. 
"In the case of the Addon themes...if the system has CD's/Discs,then the Disc will spin in Views 2 and 3...but,if the system has carts or floppies,then they will not spin in views 2 and 3."

That's for the default theme, the specific themes don't spin if they are not discs.

Fixed..please re-download the Console pack and overwrite your current Switch theme with the new one

I deleted the old folder and copied the updated theme but the carts still rotate. I did it twice just to make sure. I fixed by editing line 45 of both of the affected views, changing the rotation to go from 0 to 0.

Strange..seems the zip file didn't update for the switch theme...

Sorry for the run-around there...I uploaded it again after triple checking it...and the current one should be correct..

At least you got it sorted out though

I can confirm it fixed now, thanks for fixing it and doing it quickly!

I think I'll make this theme the main for my HTPC, I just have to download and set everything up, it's gonna take some time.

I made a Favorites playlist, later I changed it's name to TOP 100 ir order to match the name of your theme.

This is what I got when I use the Unified Refried default theme:

 

And this is what it became when I change to the Unified Refried - Favorites

You just need to switch the view for that theme, its showing the text list view, not the same view as your first pic.

The actual name of the playlist should be "Top 100 Favorites" ...I would change it to that if you haven't already

I would like to create a global favorites and a recently played. Is possible to do it just renaming the names of the files in the theme?

@RetroHumanoid This is definitely my favorite theme for use with BigBox now, but I was wondering if you'll add the ability to keep the games list centered (in the textlist view)? I tried to change the code and added the plugin from here (check below) without any success

Sega Ringedge is already in the theme,as well as in the Arcade addon...the other 2 are not...i'll see what I can do after my current project is finished.

I  was wondering if there was a way to add some crt effect on the videos like in the FluxCRT theme .

 

The "Unified Refried - Indie Games" it's not showing the red  and black background as the plataform video. Instead it is showing a blue background like the windows plataform theme.

Hi! Firstly i love this theme. Only problem i have with it is 3DS video snaps. I would love to look videos in 16:9 format. Is this possible?

Sorry to sound dumb, but do I just unzip all 11 files into the Launchbox/Themes folder, or do I need to put some of the addons in other folders?  Also, could someone recommend settings that they think look the best? I like the way it is setup in the pictures.

Yes, that's correct. But you also need to set a theme switch key. Then use that key to switch the theme for each add-on system to the add on theme.

Thanks for the reply. I did a quick search for "theme switch key" and didn't find anything.  Is this something to toggle between themes? If so, I only need one good theme. I don't intend to switch often.
