  1. Well, if you did do that then you would have a ton of games without artwork. If a game was only released in Europe or Japan, then it'll have Mega Drive artwork. For a game that is multi-region, the intention is to show the artwork for the game that your entry is based on. So if you have two of the same game, one euro and one USA, then it should show appropriaetly. I don't know where Jason ever got with that stuff, but he didn't get there fully. So in short, there's no easy way to do it. The Audit tool can help if you don't mind a bit of leg work, but in terms of LaunchBox and Big Box parsing out regions completely, not yet.
  2. Not right now, but that does seem like a logical extension of this feature to me.
  3. All of those questions would be theme dependant. So @snarfo67 if I am understand you correctly, you'd just want the game video in the background as the focal point and maybe a clear logo to denote where in the list you are? The City Hunter theme has a view just like that which is why I got very specific. There are also a few new themes recently too, so it might just be searching for a theme and a view that caters the best, or asking one of the theme creators to add a new view to one of their themes.
  4. What do you mean? Like Mega Drive artwork? Well, if someone uploads the artwork under the proper region in Genesis then LaunchBox could take advantage of those filters eventually, but Jason hasn't gotten there I don't think. I know he wants to build more of that in, but... If I even understood your question right. I look at it like this, if the game wasn't going to have artwork anyways, then sure, im fine with other regions artwork.

Do you have the -g command in the default ocmmand line parameters?
  6. On the left in LaunchBox, go to the top of your platform list and click the drop down, then Favorites.
  7. Make sure all your MAME files are still all together.
  8. Jason and I have discussed revamping ScummVM for quite a while, I think it's high time that happens... @Jason Carr
  9. Which doesn't seem right. The emulator is still the emulator, regardless of the game you load.
  10. There are alt scripts that don't use the default method that should / might work, but I don't know where off the top of my head.
  11. Well if you commissioned it, that generally means you paid for it, which then means you have the rights to do with it as you please. If that's let us use it (which we absolutetly appreciate) then we wont stop you.
  12. You could with symbolic linking inside of Windows, but no, LaunchBox doesn't let you do this inherently.
  13. No problem, glad it's all sorted.
  14. I also moved the thread to the Videos section. I would love to get this uploaded to our downloads section though!
  15. Yep. Once Jason told me to actually read the error log, I did. I tried to figure them out, and I usually do, but recently I've been having bad luck doing so and being a bit wrong... so instead of parsing it myself, I passed it on.
  16. Of course, update to the latest beta, click on a game and Ctrl + A to highlight them all. Delete them (make sure you're in your Wii U path), and if you have delete roms turned on, make sure to say yes then no. Re-import the Wii U games, but unchecked all of the image boxes for the LaunchBox Games Database and EmuMovies. Don't uncheck the box to not use the LBGDB, just the media. Should import a lot faster and your media will re-attach automatically.
  17. Thank you. I've forwarded this to Jason so he can fix it. Also, you can copy and paste text in that error log, so you can do that instead of going through the trouble of taking a picture, if you don't want to.
  18. Yea, I feel bad, the more scrapers the better, but our focus should be on our own Database, it's the only way we can know for sure that it's functioning right and we can build it to our every need.
