  1. You can click it, then go to the Database, open your account and click My Collection. All it does is show there your games, if they're on the Database. Honestly, it was meant to be way more, but at the time people were very honest in saying they did not want that stuff.
  2. You're most likely missing command lines that they require. The emulators don't support loading roms directly, some require there to be some default command line parameters. For the two you mentioned, there is an MSX Tutorial on the channel, and ironically the Colecovision tutorial goes up tomorrow (Friday, the 12th, 2017) at 10AM. The MSX tutorial is a bit older, but it still totally works:
  3. Yea, in the end, running Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 (we do suggest 10) might be the best option. It could solve a lot of headaches.
  4. You importer your MAME roms under the Arcade platform and you used the MAME Importer, correct? As long as you did, it should grab everything available from the LB Games Database. A free EM account will help augment your images as well greatly. If you're searching game by game, then something went wrong. The database may not have every single game, but 2400 or so Arcade games (MAME) I have most artwork. It's also worth noting that Arcade uses Flyers not front box art. Flyers should be showing for Front Box Art automatically, but you can also double check the image priorities in LB to make sure (but again, I think it should happen automatically).
  5. My GameCube and Wii games are on an external (USB2) and launch just fine actually. They're compressed, but not with archives. Archives, I think, are kind of dumb and complicate things way more. If anyone is curious what I'm talking about:
  6. Does 1 profile not control two controllers automatically? If not, wouldn't creating a Player 1 and Player 2 profile solve this? Load 1 then 2? I wonder if it's DS4Windows causing it. If I recall, it is deprecated now, so updating to a more updated type of software might do it. I personally use InputMapper (I might be confusing DS4W with another piece of software... but I don't think so...).
  7. If your windows aren't saving size and position, it's generally an emulator or windows issue sadly. Some emulators also do use commands like -f, -fullscreen, etc. It just depends.
  8. Currently it's based on the No-Intro set of names, and will get expanded in the future. It is primarily there to check your library of games and tell you what you're missing. Once it's done scanning it pops up with a window telling you what you have or what's missing. It's very much in a Beta state currently though.
  9. Yes, it's just for the My Collection portion of the Database. It honestly hasn't been worked on in a while, and most people never bring it up. I think you're the first in months.
  10. You're welcome! Yea, PS1 games require a .cue sheet unless you compress them in to PBP's.
  11. If it said API then it would be EM, but seeing as how there is a video in there, I assumed it was from EM.
  12. No don't get me wrong, I certainly appreciate it, but it does happen from time to time. Their server is either having some issues right now or could be down for maintenance. It should only be a problem for a short time.
  13. That is, I think, an EmuMovies error. Not too much we can do about it.
  14. This is new too me too. How your games got unassigned, that's obviously not supposed to happen.
  15. If you're clever enough, you could... "find free trials" of Adobe CC, but those can also do some injustice as they won't be updated. Ever since I actually purchased Adobe CC it's so much easier. Less bugs, more support, I get access to their downloads too so I get some assets for free and what not. The cloud features I thought were kind of a joke too, until I started using some of them, especially for work. So yea, I do use it for work mostly and can justify $30 a month since I got the complete package on sale down from $50. There is even some free editing software out there too, so if you want to get a full comparison, grab some free editing software, GIMP, then try GIMP and the Vegas Trial. There is even an Adobe CC free trial, a real free trial, if you want to try that too. They give you like 30 days. In all honesty, there's a reason Adobe can command such a high price, but it's really all about what you can afford or "find", and what your level of use is at.
  16. In LaunchBox you can make these changes in the options, just explore around. Some of them are Premium only features, but if you have Big Box you obviously have access to that. So for example, in Tools -> Options -> Default Background, I have it set to use my desktop wallpaper, but there are lots of options. The other categories I thought were self explanatory myself. Fan Art is what it sounds like, Fan created Artwork. It generally has to do with Background artwork.
  17. Remember too, the Database is all under SNES, the Super Famicom platform is still a hold over, you'd actually find more info in the SNES platform actually. They're supposed to get merged, it just hasn't happened yet. If you want to help add to our Database: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wB80CH3zecXccfQ4Et8NxYa-G1bQuo7eo1YHvkYQ728/edit Also, the platforms will be merged, we've already decided on this. If you don't want to combine all your games in to one platform (even though I and most people do, so that's a thought) you can create an unlimited amount of custom platforms. There might be a game or two as well in the Famicom category not in the SNES category, but the SNES category has more Japanese specific games now I believe.
  18. I honestly don't know. If it's showing up in Windows with a driver, it should be viewable in most software. If it is emulating a keyboard though, LB and BB would use it like a keyboard. If it's being treated more like a controller, then it should be good. Have you tried checking to use all controllers connected?
  19. I still say that the Adobe suite is best. GIMP has some issues compared to Photoshop, but Photoshop has been in active development for 25 years with money behind it, so that's a bit unfair. With all the Adobe CC stuff, and constant updates, good industry level things as well, it's really amazing.
  20. If you want multiple controllers to be set up, but for different consoles, not for actual multiplayer, it might just be easier to let it auto assign and use custom configs where needed (like the RetroLink N64 controllers). At any rate though, it is starting to get out of hand for us. The PS4 controller does work wirelessly, easily, Sony just released an official dongle after all, but I think Monkus is right in saying that your specific set up is just giving it some issues. I think most people who are in a similar situation don't think about having them all connected at once. As for the theme, you don't have to use that theme, but it's the same process regardless for installing Themes. Grab the theme, put it in the Themes folder, follow any special instructions from the theme creator, enable it and you're good to go. There is an older, more generalized theme video, but we were asked specifically for help on how to make Big Box look like those demo videos.
  21. Or, you can add that info in to our Database so that all users can benefit!
  22. It's not in an XML actually, it's the XAML theme engine. So if the original theme creator hasn't created an alternate version, then you should be able to find the line in the theme and change it.
  23. I haven't used multiple controllers, nor InputMapper with the wireless dongle. It should be that you connect your controller and the PC thinks it's xinput because IP, but I use a usb cable. Is InputMapper showing that it's reading your PS4 controller? It needs to be opened up in Exclusive Mode. There are tools built in to help Windows let go and make it Exclusive mode, but sometimes software like Steam needs to be closed for it to work because software like Steam can interfere with it. For the controllers, it should be that you plug them in and set them. What I think might be happening is when you plug in the second controller, the 1st player controls are being automatically reassigned, which normally with 1 controller is very good. You could uncheck autoconfig enable, but then you'd have to set your controls manually. Or, plug in your first one, disable the autoconfig, set your second one and make a custom config you can load each time to go back to the two player control scheme, but have the default or regular system configs be back to single player autoconfig.
