  1. Ah, I didn't realize that this was the case. Every command that I've passed I was able to do on either side.
  2. Ah yea, GCM, this I know. Here is some info about all of this, and it might help clear up a bit of confusion.
  3. If you have it in certain places on your C drive, sometimes you need to do that. It doesn't make it less portable, you can move your entire install to an external, and as long as the paths were relative or your games aren't changing paths, it will work just fine. If it's in a certain location that you need to run as admin, that's Windows fault.
  4. o,O;; Well... I'm glad I could help. I am glad you got it working though.
  5. In in the options menu under background. Some of the more flashy settings are Premium only, but there is some customization there.
  6. It could just be their server being under more of a load at the moment you tried got to that screen. I notice too, that pressing back to go back a few pages to edit something, going back to EM it also loads faster.
  7. Yea, ckp and I were talking about this on the Discord server. It's ok to mess around with something, and report your findings. It took me 20-30 for my MAME games to load as well. Even though there is a lot of information there we have a MAME DAT file internally, so it is a bit different. We appreciate everyone's notes and criticisms as long as the person is not being a jerk. I think it's just a little bit of miscommunication going on here
  8. What is happening when you try BlueMSX, a black screen? If that's the case, then the BIOS are probably wrong. When googling, it's a 6mb set with a lot of sub folders. The blueMSX INFO files shows some info, but there are too many variations to list unlike most core info files that list the bios requirements. It does tell you that it goes in /RetroArch/system/Machines/.
  9. Click edit on your profile and try setting your custom url, and see if that helps.
  10. You just need -g, -f is for fullscreen. Don't forget to check the descriptions and pinned comments from myself. Sometimes, like in this case, there was an update a few days after the tutorial that now requires the -g command, and I did post that info in the description. There's always info for the tutorial in there.
  11. Also, with MAME, I would also suggest to not move your roms, or if you do move the rest of them in to the roms location. Otherwise, this is new to me... I actually have no clue what to do here... what file is MAME loading for the game?
  12. tcm is new to me, I'll need to check that out. To be honest, the reason I primarily used that software was because I have a hacked Wii (and vWii), so they were like that for the consoles benefit. If you're just using Dolphin though, the other two methods should be fine.
  13. To have views per platform? That would require a LaunchBox update.
  14. You're welcome! If you need more help, don't forget to check out the Tutorials on our channel! You can get there by clicking tutorials at the top of the forums.
  15. Controller Automation is built in to LB and BB that will use AHK scripts to close emulators with a button combo. Controller Automation is a premium feature though.
  16. It doesn't use the FTP per-se, it uses their API.
  17. It's probably their server denying so many requests in sequential order? No clue, but that would be my guess.
  18. Reconstructed is more for Clear Logo's that get redrawn, that's usually why they get to be so big (not always). You can resize them on your own, with batch tools. I would say though, to make sure that you make sure to keep the aspect ratio so that way they don't get screwed up. Otherwise, an alternative is to use a custom background image instead, and use Image Priorities to display the Clear Logo in a place you'd like more?
  19. The CityHunter Themes have a view that is just the console and games clear logo, and the video.
  20. After the rom file specifically, no, but loading command lines has always worked for every emulator that supports them.
  21. Sadly, no, I don't think that would actually not be a good idea because if we deleted any file that wasn't imported, people would lose saves, files that are key for certain types of roms etc. Starting from a No-Intro rom set is the ideal start. From there, I use Windows Search to search for some keywords (like for sports games), and then delete them. After that, anything that gets imported can be deleted from within LaunchBox is you enable it. So you press delete, it asks you if you want to remove it from LB and then asks if you want to delete the rom file.
  22. So this is the Link that Jason gave me. This is the Metadata.xml that is supposed to get downloaded when it asks you. Place the XML in the Metadata folder. Jason told me it still might ask you to update though, so I don't know what date this metadata package has. http://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/Metadata.zip
  23. Ah, that package. I think there might be a link for that actually. It should only ask you if there is an update on the Database every 24 hours. Let me ask Jason if there is a link, I remember there being one at one point.
