I believe KitKat is the oldest version supported.

Everything I see appears to be setup correctly so I don't see why the core is listed as missing. Do your games work through RetroArch?

MAME is the emulator the term MAME games refers to games that will work in the MAME emulator. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator at one point MAME was merged together with its sister project MESS and now it is capable of emulating much more than just arcade machines. So if you want a good emulator for emulating MAME games I'd say MAME is the best you can get.

In regards to LB in the past when a OS reaches EOL then Jason stops supporting it don't know if that will be the case with Windows 7 since it has a bigger user base than say Vista and XP did but to people who may consider following advice to ditch 10 for 7 its something to consider.

Windows 7 reaches EOL January 14th 2020 so telling people to ditch Windows 10 for Windows 7 is just terrible advise and frankly irresponsible. I've been using Windows 10 since the betas and haven't run into any issues with gaming what so ever.

Jason removed them for a reason its somewhere in this thread but I don't remember off hand and I'm not inclined to skim back through to refresh my memory. I'm sure once that is worked out they will be reinstated

There are one or 2 themes aimed towards vertical setups in the download section but not many of the creators of themes have bothered to make them

try disabling the loading screen some games and emulators don't play nice with it.

that makes sense as that always breaks arcade games since they have to be zipped to work.

As of now network storage is not supported so you can't do what you are trying to do at this point.

yeah I personally don't move my games into LB so this isn't any issue but if you are wanting to import any multiple file game into LBs folder structure you basically have to manually move the files there beforehand and then just select the leave files where they are option when importing.

Why can't you run 4.8 of .Net? Are you running an older unupdated build of Windows 10?

There is no demo version because the program is DMR free and there would be no way to enforce the demo period on it. The annual license is $20 which can later be upgraded to lifetime for only $30 and this is only to continue to receive updates. Your $20 license will give you access to BB indefinitely you will just have to not update the program any more if you let the license lapse. The best I can tell you is that if you are unsatisfied with the product you can request a refund. I seriously doubt the business model is going to change so either you have to be willing to pay the $20 if not then unfortunately you won't get a chance to try the software.

well I didn't want to say that but its very surprising to see someone actually using Kaspersky in this day and age. I've been using MS built in security since Windows 8 beta was out and have yet to run into any virus issues so not needing to have a 3rd party AV has been something that I've been enjoying for quite a few years now.

start Kaspersky but whitelist LB in its settings.

There are some checkboxes that need to be checked too. I'm on my laptop at the moment so I can't check to see which ones specifically maybe someone else can chime in.

is your Dolphin Bar causing the issue perhaps?

I don't think it does that but you can turn off game details in the settings and then go to your controller or keyboard settings and add a key that will open the game details view if you have need of using it.

I would guess that you have some type of controller automation setup in LB and it is interfering with RA and trying to start a netplay session based on your error.

do you have riva tuner running on your computer by any chance?

Is you Windows 7 fully up to date and are you running the current version of .net framework?
