There is no link, just open Launchbox and go to Tools/Options/Updates and enable beta updates and disable background download. Close and re-open Launchbox for the update prompt.

I am on a 4K display with 200% scaling and both retroarch and the pause screens are working just fine for me. So it could be that the source of your problem lays elsewhere.
-
If you google "snes bios" its the top result.

Hi @NotoriousNik, unfortunately this means that somehow you're using a pirated license. Would you mind sharing where you got the license?
-
If you are seeing the free version then you installed to the wrong location. I'm betting if you look in your Launchbox folder you now have another Launchbox folder, that is the one opening and is empty with no license.

I think the automation is for if you want a keyboard combo rather than just a straight button press. So if you left the global button empty but assigned a hold and pause key in keyboard automation you need to hold a key then press another to activate the pause. At least that would be my guess.

VLC was updated recently, so rolling back has to use the older version, but the updated one is still in the folder. Just close launchbox, and delete the Launchbox/VLC folder, and re-open Launchbox. It will re-create the now missing VLC folder at launch.

Do the games actually launch if you launch them from the redream UI, maybe your roms dont work so its dropping you to the UI instead?
-
Dolphin needs -b -e in the commandline to work correctly. As for Redream like @Retro808 that does not need any extra settings in Launchbox, and you can set fullscreen in the Redream UI.
-
I cant replicate this either. @FlightRisk are you testing this with roms or PC games? On PC games if i dont have a manual i only have resume and exit as obviously reset and save/load states are not relevant if not using a emulator.
-
Import them with the name you want for the platform, then right click it in the sidebar and edit. Go to the parents tab and you can select under what platform category/Platform or Playlist you want it listed under.
-
The import scrape and the edit window scrape are different. The import is much stricter with naming so as to not get a ton of incorrect matches when doing a mass import of games, the edit window check is less strict in that regard when matching, as you have more control and are just searching the one game. This is done as it is easier to fix a few incorrect matches after a import than to have a looser match and have a ton of incorrect matches that need fixing. Also if you used the steam importer you do not get all the media options you do for normal roms, you only get the Launchbox Database options and zero emumovies media options. This is because that the steam API is actually used to scrape information and to retrieve the steam banner/images and videos. Finally, the likely reason it finds more art when looking via the edit screen is that emumovies is also used there, so images that were not found on the Launchbox Database could be available there. As for the steam videos not downloading, this is a known issue that we are trying to solve. The videos are downloaded directly from the steam page of the game, and for some reason have stopped downloading, we are investigating but its proving to be a very difficult problem to solve. Personally i use the below plugin that will scrape your steam games and also grab the images and videos.

[EmuMovies] Sega Naomi -Video aren't automatically scrap

You need to set the "scrape as" to "Arcade". Naomi is a Arcade board so is not its own platform. -
How To Get Launchbox to use Retroarch for Arcade Games

Not a folder, the actual additional apps you can add to games. In these images i have a walk through guide for Witcher 3 as a additional app, which i can open and view via the pause screen.
-
Its looking at the manuals folder and the additional apps for the games. If in the manuals folder then the manual name must match the rom name for it to show, also they must be PDF's.
-
If those are full sized images you could use them now. They would need the same name as the games then put them in Launchbox/Images/name of platform/Fanart-Background folder overwriting the existing images.
-
The current default theme uses Fanart-Background as the background image as well as a clear logo and cart/disc image, but that is themeable just like Bigbox and Startup/Shutdown screens are.
-
This one for example is two shaders, the gameboy one i showed in the post above, but with a LCD shader pass added to it. As for DS and 3DS i would just add a LCD shader to it. Shaders by there very nature though are a personal preference thing, thats why i use the shaders with borders as i like them to look like the original handhelds. You will just have to mess around with them to find something that fits your personal wants/needs.

OK, well i just installed this theme and i dont see what you say you have, my box looks just fine. Its probably just the images you have for snes have some sort of reflection on them.
-
Im not exactly sure what you are asking here to be honest. You have two completely different images there, you can see that the second one has a Capcom logo at the bottom left where as the other does not, and the top one doesnt look like it has a transparent background on it.
-
Yes they are themeable like the startup/shutdown screens are. They are not linked to any existing themes, they go in the Launchbox/PauseThemes folder.
