  1. That's not a bug, it's by design and intended to act that way. A dev will have to explain why, but there are very valid reasons for choosing this approach.
  2. go to tools/manage/manage emulators/mame and you should see a list of commands in the command line box, delete the part that says -artwork crop.
  3. The zip file in the second post is from one of the Launchbox devs and is safe. I just looked at it and they are empty text files, i assume named after the tables.
  4. Get a monitor, not only should it have lower input lag, but it will also support more resolutions and different framerates via gsync/freesync, as well as supporting display port that no TV has.
  5. It will be related to this as your window says "browsersubservice".
  6. Your file path for Pilotwings is "Games/Super Nintendo Entertainment System/Pilotwings (Europe) (1).zip" (Id hugely recommend not using PAL European roms by the way, they run slower than they should) but that (1) in the file path, that means you downloaded the same file twice so the (1) was added in order to differentiate it as two files in the same folder cannot have the same name, so did you maybe import the (1) file, then realise you had two of the same file and delete or rename one? also you are using a zip, what happens if you unzip and import the .sfc file instead and run that (there is no reason at all to have files so small zipped)?
  7. If you click the core name in your screenshot it will open a dropdown menu were you can choose any core you want, try snes9x and try loading a game again.
  8. Im not sure if this is your issue but you are using a strange core there, is that the same core you are using when launching directly in retroarch? I ask as if i recall correctly bsnes accuracy needs bios files for a lot of its games, so if you are loading say snes9x in retroarch those games would work, but when launched from launchbox via a bsnes accuracy core they wouldnt. Personally id uses mesensnes or snes9x myself.
  9. OK, i think i was just confused with your thread title, the 2 specifically, i was assuming it was a new fork of the previous but i could find nothing other than references to paid android apps. Hopefully the info retro808 provided is accurate which im sure it is, so enjoy.
  10. could you reference the video please, i think i know the one, but want to be sure before any other advice?
  11. A quick google for this emulator just gives me results for a android version, have you a link to this version you are running, and do you know if it supports command line interface at all, cause if it doesnt and relies on its own UI to launch games only then it wont work with frontends like launchbox. As a aside any specific reason you want to use this over the excellent beetle/mednafen standalone or retroarch cores?
  12. The mame full set importer has a huge list of filters that you can enable/disable before import, region and player count version being the two big ones, so if you chose say North America as region and the parent rom is Japanese you wont have the "default" rom as you word it, same for player count for games like simpsons and turtles, the version of those that allows any player number to choose any character is the 2 player version, which again is not the "default" parent rom.
  13. This is the main reason i advise against retroarch for mame, the control situation is a mess if you dont like the defaults, you have both mame and retroarch fighting over control and changing things often just doesnt work. Stick to standalone mame which has excellent control support.
  14. Pay for a premium emumovies subscription and add those login details in Launchbox.
  15. Well you may want to look into it, the exodos project is not affiliated with Launchbox so we cant provide you help with it.
  16. Yeah, as stated above a arcade cabinet would of come in a large generic wooden box, they were not for public sale to customers in stores. the closest thing is as stated the advertisement flyers that were sent out to arcade operators to try to get them to purchase a cabinet.
  17. You could of just renamed the image and video folders and the move wouldn't've of been necessary, also its worth adding you dont have 40,000 mame games, if you used the fullset importer you have more like 2900 , a mame romset can have 40,000 files, but thhat does not equal that in games, and even less than that even work in mame.
  18. And just to add to that the error pops up under the Launchbox window and freezes the import until dismissed, so mine sat there a while doing nothing at all until i spotted the separate error window and dismissed it, which triggered the import.
  19. Its worth adding that even when you download it yourself and add it, Launchbox still seems to check for it and throws the error when you import a system, so not really sure what its checking for if you already have it setup?
  20. It has preliminary support, which to mame is non working, it would of also of warned you of this as it launched. http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/dettaglio_mame.php?game_name=timecrs3
  21. Save in game like on real hardware.
  22. Time crisis 2-4 do not work in mame i believe, so are skipped by the import filter that specifies only importing working games.
  23. Correct. Depending on the set version you have the files a actual game needs could be in several other different zip files (mame itself knows in which zips a specific file would be, but a rom is more than one file) Launchbox doesnt have tis info, not is it a rom rebuilder, which is what would be needed to "fix" these games on export. The only true fix is to simply use a Non-Merged romset, while initially a larger file size than merged or split, each zip file there is a single working game (hence the file size difference, many duplicated files across the entire set that are only in one zip in the other two set types).
  24. You dont need any AHK at all just set your button combo and it will just work, this already sends escape by default.
