  1. Set mame's "default.cfg" to read only, then it cant be altered.
  2. if your mame romset is 0.109 thats not gonna work with current versions of the emulator, its like 20 years old. manually download mame 0.109 from the mame website and use that, retro808 is also correct on that command too, it needs removing with a build as ancient as that.
  3. It will only import bios files if you messed with the filters and disabled the one that excludes them, probably the "skip non playable games" one or similar if i had to guess.
  4. No it doesnt as far as i know currently, but it probably should as mame is different to other systems/imports as files are not actually imported, and there are thousands of useless ones which you wouldnt want installed that are probably being seen bt the auto import process.
  5. The mame rom folder should probably be excluded from this feature if having previously used the mame fullset importer, just add a flag at initial import if it was used so its ignored in future.
  6. Looks like you may be on Windows 7/8 and unfortunately those are no longer supported due to other librarys Launchbox uses no longer supported 7/8, in this case chromium. 13.9 i think was the last version that supported those OS's so if you dont have that installer in your Launchbox/Updates folder you will need to reach out to support@unbrokensoftware.com and request that file.
  7. I dont emulate on android so i cant say for sure, i will say though that this is nothing to do with Launchbox itself. Launchbox would only care in the Launchbox UI, once you are in a game it's up to the emulator what peripherals are supported. Maybe try a different emulator, one that isnt going through Retroarch's input layers? https://play.google.com/store/search?q=ZX Spectrum&c=apps&hl=en&gl=US
  8. https://docs.libretro.com/library/fuse/#controllers-usage Scroll lock on computer systems in retroarch should lock/unlock the keyboard to the emulator (as retroarch itself uses the keyboard for a lot of functions by default).
  9. Just re-run the import, but this time against the updated mame.exe (as the working game list is extracted from the emulator version that matches the romset).
  10. Personally i run all of those platforms through retroarch.
  11. That is the correct source, but its not the correct size, it should be 137.77GB.
  12. Dont do that, that tool is not for mame use, you cant mess with mame files, they come exactly as they need to be, all .zip files.
  13. You shouldnt be scanning for additional roms for mame, you upgrade your romset, not add random games to it, thats a bad idea.
  14. Its working here, but is showing that LB has never tweeted, with obviously is incorrect.
  15. You can name platforms anything you like, always have been able too. Just remember to set the "scrape as" when you do so to the appropriate platform, in this case Wii.
  16. The database is community driven, anyone can add any game, so you could add it yourself and help other users out. Just make a account there and have at it. https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/
  17. Not sure exactly what you have here, but mame roms are .zip, not .7z officially (although you can repackage, but the official packs are always .zip). Secondly, do yourself a favour and download the current set from the official place, just google "pleasuredome github" and get direct from source.
  18. Cause they are named to the Launchbox standard not the Retrobat/EmulationStation standard, you would need to rename each file to match what your program requires. This is the Launchbox forum, so naturally they are named to that standard.
  19. You don't need to format to upgrade Windows, at least not for several versions of windows. Just create the USB boot drive and choose the "upgrade this machine option" and not the one that says "wipe and reinstall" or similar wording.
  20. Im slightly confused, but thats a often thing. Your original post was about the bar and the non finish of it, yes? Then the second bump post is the non download of the actual content?
  21. Try deleting that file and then re-open Launchbox, it should see the file is missing and add it back, if not you can just run the installer over the top of your current instal, it only touches program files and not your data so is perfectly safe.
  22. This may sound controversial, but couldnt a game be "locked in" at the point of acceptance, and at that point need a far higher accepts to rejects to "unlock it" so to speak in order to change important aspects like platform?
