  1. You will need to add it as a associated platform for retroarch. Just go to tools/manage emulators/Retroarchh and scroll to the bottom and double click in the blue box, type the name exactly as it is called in the sidebar and point it to the core you want to use.
  2. I believe there is a technical reason why there is a limit on how narrow the sidebar can go, as for spacing that can be edited like i said. Try this theme if you want, it has smaller spacing.
  3. The left sidebar has always been re sizable, just drag it to the width you want. As for theming got to the Launchbox/LBTheme folder, copy and paste the default theme and edit it its split up into the specific sections of the UI, thats as far as my knowledge on it goes though.
  4. Launchbox next is themeable, you can adjust everything in it to your liking if you have the knowhow.
  5. No, only if you actually downloaded and installed beta 2.
  6. With all due respect you tracking him down on facebook and posting what he does for a living on here is far far ruder than him ignoring e-mails from a complete stranger. Maybe have a look at yourself before you start saying other people are rude?
  7. Can it be set to search for controllers on Bigbox launch and coming out of a emulator back to the Bigbox UI maybe?
  8. There is a option in the Dolphin UI to "confirm on exit" uncheck that.
  9. I dont want to speak for @Zombeaver, but im guessing its commercially available.
  10. Just a thought, can you edit one of the games in LB and add the .zip to the file name??
  11. OK was just a thought as like MAME it would then no the path and just accept the shortname passed to it.
  12. Yeah i can confirm that's exactly what i see, it complains about missing roms if unchecked (which is correct as it doesnt have a full path just the short name) and when checked the mouse pointer spins but nothing loads. Have you tried scanning your roms into Retroarch so it knows the path then unchecking the box?
  13. Yeah, but i have just checked it myself and nothing happens, LB doesnt complain that the rom doesnt exist, but nothing happens, just a mouse pointer swirl then nothing.
  14. can you try adding a second retroarch entry but pointing to the same .exe and check the box on that one and see if it works?
  15. You have to instal it on top of your current instal, it sounds like you are installing it to the default C//username path.
  16. You can still use the older mame importer for that, and it will use all the new metadata.
  17. Yes of course you can, there was a issue with beta 2 that meant it didnt automatically update, beta 3 fixes that but you will need to instal it from the updates folder as it wont auto update (thats the issue with beta 2).
  18. The Nostalgia theme is one of the heaviest ones we have in the download section, so yes that could certainly be a performance issue rather than a controller issue.
  19. Im not sure what line it is to edit, maybe @Lordmonkus can help there, but im not sure how much closer you could get it or want it, as you can see in my image the platform names are already very close together, any closer and they will just merge into some sort of horrible text block thats unreadable.
  20. You can add both file types, first just high-lite the .cdi games and drag them into the launchbox window to start the import wizard and import everything. Then go back to the folder with all the game folders with .gdi games, and in the search bar in the top right of the explorer window type in *.gdi that will list all the gdi files, just high-lite them all and drag them onto the Launchbox screen again and import to dreamcast again.
  21. Well im assuming your nuc didnt like running in Vulkan at all, thats a much newer API. D3D has been around for a long long time though and everything should support that, try, D3D 9 first as that should be the most compatible, all be it older version.
  22. Also you said switching to Vulkan broke retroarch, but did you try d3d at all?
  23. OK to things here, 1. its been known for a long time that the old interface was going away, Jason has mentioned it many times. Progress is good only having next to code for is going to make things much easier going forward. 2. Launchbox next can be themed much like Bigbox can be, so you could close up those spaces you dont like if you so desire.
