  1. Also remember you can also make the font size in the sidebar smaller if you want in Tools/Options/Fonts
  2. Yeah, that would be official 8.5, all the 8.6 betas dont have the option.
  3. Just re-ran the new MAME import wizard and let it create the classics playlists and all seems to have gone without a hitch. Excellent work as always Jason.
  4. That sounds more like a mouse software issue than a Launchbox one, i have never personally seen any mouse do that.
  5. The thing with mame is the roms change, better dumps are found or more data gets pulled from the actual arcade machines, as well as the mame emulator improving as well and needing new files. what rom works in one version of the emulator may be broken in the next version as the rom has been updated and has new files in it. As i said above you should really match your romset with the same version of mame, and if you dont plan on updating your romset then dont update the emulator either because as you have found roms can and will break.
  6. Then this importer is not for you, it is for complete mame romsets of the same version. The way you have your roms is actually the worst way you can do it with roms from all different versions, this is why the mame emulator and the mame roms are numbered in sets so that you can easily use the correct roms with the correct version of the emulator. No, the 0.200 of the mame romset has everything you need, you dont need every numbered set just the newest one.
  7. Lol, well that would of been useful information in the first post. Then you shouldn't be doing anything with retroarch in Launchbox as RocketLauncher is the emulater not Retroarch. You will need to edit the retroarch module in rocketlauncher to recognize the non standard systems you are trying to use. The module will only recognize Correct platforms names and you are setting up non correct platform names, this is a rocketlauncher drawback and nothing to do with Launchbox im afraid. You will just have to get your hands dirty by editing the module.
  8. That sounds like you are using RocketLauncher as it mentions the module, is that the case?
  9. You will need to add it as a associated platform for retroarch. Just go to tools/manage emulators/Retroarchh and scroll to the bottom and double click in the blue box, type the name exactly as it is called in the sidebar and point it to the core you want to use.
  10. I believe there is a technical reason why there is a limit on how narrow the sidebar can go, as for spacing that can be edited like i said. Try this theme if you want, it has smaller spacing.
  11. The left sidebar has always been re sizable, just drag it to the width you want. As for theming got to the Launchbox/LBTheme folder, copy and paste the default theme and edit it its split up into the specific sections of the UI, thats as far as my knowledge on it goes though.
  12. Launchbox next is themeable, you can adjust everything in it to your liking if you have the knowhow.
  13. No, only if you actually downloaded and installed beta 2.
  14. With all due respect you tracking him down on facebook and posting what he does for a living on here is far far ruder than him ignoring e-mails from a complete stranger. Maybe have a look at yourself before you start saying other people are rude?
  15. Can it be set to search for controllers on Bigbox launch and coming out of a emulator back to the Bigbox UI maybe?
  16. There is a option in the Dolphin UI to "confirm on exit" uncheck that.
  17. I dont want to speak for @Zombeaver, but im guessing its commercially available.
  18. Just a thought, can you edit one of the games in LB and add the .zip to the file name??
  19. OK was just a thought as like MAME it would then no the path and just accept the shortname passed to it.
  20. Yeah i can confirm that's exactly what i see, it complains about missing roms if unchecked (which is correct as it doesnt have a full path just the short name) and when checked the mouse pointer spins but nothing loads. Have you tried scanning your roms into Retroarch so it knows the path then unchecking the box?
  21. Yeah, but i have just checked it myself and nothing happens, LB doesnt complain that the rom doesnt exist, but nothing happens, just a mouse pointer swirl then nothing.
  22. can you try adding a second retroarch entry but pointing to the same .exe and check the box on that one and see if it works?
  23. You have to instal it on top of your current instal, it sounds like you are installing it to the default C//username path.
