  1. I have deleted the other thread for you. I'm not too familiar with C64 emulation, but I have also heard that CCS64 is the best choice there. If you have a really old MAME set like that then your best bet for compatibility is to use the matching version of MAME. There may however be features missing in that version that are in the newer versions due to it's age. You can get that version here.
  2. Close Launchbox, go to your Launchbox/Data/Playlists folder and delete the playlist .xml files from there. Re-open Launchbox and they should be gone.
  3. This may be a silly question so apologies if it's not related to your issue. Are you using a controller or keyboard in bigbox? If it's a controller have you enabled it in the Bigbox options as it is off by default, this may explain why Bigbox is not taking any input.
  4. I'm not sure how this works in other browsers, but with chrome you can make desktop shortcuts directly to any webpage Here are instructions on how. So you could make a load of shortcuts and put them in a folder, then import said folder just like you would with any roms, so you would name the "system" something like "websites" and when Launchbox asks for the roms just point it to your shortcuts folder. Edit: Actually the easiest way would be to add the shortcuts to a folder then drag the folder onto Launchbox, when the wizard pops up asking what you are importing choose the "none of the above" option.
  5. Yes you will receive a new forever license if you buy forever.
  6. If you are upgrading to a lifetime license you will receive a new license file via email. So you would be on the new lifetime license, but I'm not sure what would happen to the older license, my guess is that it wouldn't work anymore as you would have your email attached to the forever license now, not the yearly one.
  7. Yeah the actual advice is to never run Launchbox/Bigbox as administrator. As it causes issues just like this. There is also no need to in the first place, it just causes issues.
  8. That is clearly a metadata xml issue, do you have write rights in that folder? and have you just gone to tools update metadata and images and updated the local metadata, to see if you get the same error?
  9. Yeah quite possibly just some downtime on there end. Worth trying again, and if the issue persists its worth checking there site to see if it's up at all.
  10. Still the same as far as I am aware. -f for fullscreen, -g for game load.
  11. Yep, that's sorta my point, Bigbox needs to start before it can load anything, right???
  12. There is only one Windows 10, but like every other OS in history you need to stay updated and current with it.
  13. Awesome, we need that image in Launchbox.
  14. Yeah if you could get a outside program or script to run that should work, I just don't think bigbox could do it, as it's simply not loaded when the video is playing.
  15. Hi and welcome to the community. I have never used ledblinky personally so am not to familiar with it, but I would say no probably not to your question. The point of the startup videos is to hide the loading of bigbox and give you something nice to look at while it loads, and as bigbox is controlling ledblinky it wont be activated until bigbox is loaded, which will be after the video ends or is skipped. Of course I could be wrong, so if anyone else who uses ledblinky wants to chime in on this then feel free.
  16. Hi @y2guru, was just checking out your theme I really like it, it is as you say plain and simple. However I have a bunch of folders inside the theme folder that I have never seen in any other theme before. I think they are related to Visual studio so I assume they are not actually supposed to be there. Just a heads up is all.
Really nice looking theme, does exactly what it says in the name. Good work.

  18. You seemed to have posted this query twice, I have deleted the duplicate thread. Just highlight the games you want, right click and choose combine.
  19. Both Windows 7 and 8 have 64bit versions as does Windows 10. Also I don't think that Battlefront 2 will work on that system either.
  20. Also that is a 6 year old cpu, I would bet that the graphics drivers simply wont run the correct opengl/directx versions the emulator would need.
  21. Yeah I concur with @DOS76 here, even if there was a good reliable emulator your specs would be way underpowered, not just the cpu, but the RAM as well. 2GB will not be enough as obviously Windows would use a large portion of that, then launchbox/bigbox as well.
