    Hi and welcome to the community. It is absolutely fine to re install into the same folder, all your folders will not be touched, just the .exe and any .dll's required.

    You are perfectly entitled to your opinion, and they are just that opinions. My opinion is that ColEm just works, at least for me, i launch games through Launchbox with it with no issues at all, i didn't even need any command line parameters just pointed Launchbox at the exe and imported my roms. So for me that was a lot easier to setup and use than going the mess route, but as i said, opinions.

    If its stored in the Launchbox/Images/Playlists folder i believe it does, so might be worth trying that yes. Sorry i don't have any playlists personally, so i can't check it on my setup.

    Yeah that way will be used across all themes if placed there. It's weird though it should work just fine in the theme folder. Have you placed it in a folder called Metroid or is the logo in the clear logo folder by itself? When you refreshed the cache did you use the refresh all option?

    Ok have you tried just putting it in the main images folder rather than the theme one? It would be Launchbox/Images/Playlists/name of your playlist/Clear Logo.

    This is a playlist not a platform, so it actually should go in CriticalZoneV2/Images/Playlists/Clear Logo. If those folders are not already there just create them, so a Playlists folder within the Image folder, and a Clear Logo folder within that. You will of course then have to refresh your cache. Hope that helps you out.

    Have you tried just moving it out of the folder? It may break the theme, or it may just not display it. It will depend on how @Grila coded the theme.

    Yeah i just looked in the images folder of the theme and it is definitely a 1920x1080 scanline image, if you are any good with photoshop or similar you could try adjusting the size of the image to match your resolution.

    That looks like a resolution difference, i would guess the scanline image is 16:9, are you using a different aspect ratio?

    Just try again later, the database metadata is updated every 24 hours. So although you may see the changes on the actual database it won't necessarily be available for the program to download. You will know when it is available as you will be prompted to download it when you try to edit a game or add anew one.

    Yeah i noticed this to, it's just missing from the playlist folder, there is a copy in the platforms folder though, just copy and paste. You may need to edit the name of the image and the index file though as they are named Capcom Play System I, but my playlist was just called Capcom Play System.

    Thank's for the update @eatkinola, i can confirm that my arcade playlists now display the correct background image and the correct playlist video. However one little issue, sorry. When i actually go into a game view for the arcade playlists i still get the default background rather than the one that goes with the system. I'm not sure if that is intentional or just because it's still a WIP, but thought i should mention it. I am actually just going to bed, so i will have a proper play with it in the morning. Thank's again.

    I am just looking at the database page for Xenosaga 2 and there is already high quality box front, and box back, 3 fanart images and a clear logo. What images are you trying to upload? Also just a fyi i don't moderate on the database so i can't say as to why they were rejected. The only thing i can think of is the images you wanted to add were of lower quality than what is already there, or they are watermarked in some way, that is just pure speculation on my part though.

    Thank's Jason, i was just double checking that as i have never tried video's on the free version, i went for a license the same day i tried the free version.

    Just go to tools/manage platforms double click a platform then go to the folder tab the second option is videos, just browse to where yours are stored.

    What theme are you using? Some themes require background Platform and Game videos to be checked, others unchecked try the opposite to what you have it set as now. Just go to options/videos and check/uncheck the background video options and see if that fixes it.

    Hi @eatkinola, a couple of little issues i have found. When i imported my mame set i let Launchbox auto create the playlists for me, these don't seem to work correctly in the theme. I did copy the index and all the images from the platforms folder and paste them into the playlists folder of your theme, and i also edited the index to match the playlist names i have in Launchbox. However i still always get the default image in all of the arcade playlists except for the actual arcade playlist. Also every single arcade playlist plays the same same video, it's the Arcade Platform Category video, i have all the playlist videos in the Launchbox/Videos/Playlists folder, but as i said they all play the Platform categoty video not the actual correct playlist video. Thank's again.

    Excellent, thank's for the update @eatkinola, i can confirm that the game video snaps are now showing for me, was it a issue of me not having them in the default folder in the end? Thank's again for the update, and i look forward to the official release.

    Adding emulators works just fine, here is a very quick video i just threw together it's only 38 seconds long and shows me adding ppsspp to Launchbox. Adding ppsspp.

    Hi and welcome to the community. Yes this is possible in fact it's the sort of thing that the playlist feature was added for. you can just auto fill a playlist that contains all your favorites.

    Where are your videos located? What theme are you using and what view within that theme as not all support video's, are you using VLC or WMP? Have you tried going to options/videos and checking/unchecking background platform and game video's?
