    Thank jeebus for @Belgarath, good work fella. Let us know if you have any other issues, i'm sorta guessing this is somewhat rocket launcher related as i assume you are using that as a emulator in launchbox for your pc games? so maybe it's auto assigning the emulator when its probably not needed if launching through rocket launcher. Quite why that would make the game not appear though is still a bit of a mystery.

    Also just a thought, you say that it appears just fine in Bigbox, does it actually launch when you select it?

    Cool, was just curious as to if you saw a glaring issue in the xml. I'm at a bit of a loss on this one, so any and all help is appreciated.

    The only other thing i can think of is to simply delete that game from the xml (while launchbox is closed of course) then re-importing it. I'm afraid i'm really stretching for solutions at this point though.

    Just a thought but you could try deleting the settings.xml in your data folder? Copy it somewhere else as a backup, then close launchbox and delete the file and re-open launchbox and see if if it shows. If not just delete the new settings.xml and copy your old one back.

    Actually that narrows it down a bit, if it is showing in bigbox but not launchbox then i would expect it to be a launchbox setting somewhere. I can't think of a specific one off the top of my head, but it's in the .xml and it's in bigbox so it imported just fine, just launchbox isn't displaying it for some reason. I'll have a dig around in the options and see if i can turn anything up.

    I am honestly at a loss for ideas now, as you can see it shows just fine on my system, in fact i just scraped it and closed then re-opened launchbox and it is still there. I can only assume it is specific to your system somehow, and that will be a absolute pain in the arse to try and troubleshoot unfortunately.

    Ok i'm confused, the date and time on your PC Games.xml is from about a hour and a half ago, which is i assume when you added the 80th game that disappeared after the launchbox restart. So it looks like the .xml saved when you added the new game so i don't get why it's not in your collection. Have you opened the .xml and looked for the game you added? Is it there or missing?

    When you get back can you take a screenshot with your launchbox opened, and another of your launchbox/data folder if possible. Cheers.

    Did you change the name to "PC Games" after importing them as a different name? Also if you right click the platform and edit, near the bottom of that new window will be a Platform Category box, which i bet is empty. I would add it to a category like computers or something similar.

    Also this is the sort menu i am talking about, if you set it to sort as Platforms, is your PC Games platform present.

    Well if you imported them as "PC Games" then it should actually be a PC Games.xml in the data folder. Is it there?

    Sorry, just noticed you say you gave them the name PC Games, are you sorting in launchbox by Platform categories? If so did you assign the platform a category when you set it up?

    Strange one, i would hazard a guess that if there is no Windows.xml in the Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder then the games were not even imported in the fist place, hence they are not showing. Can you double check your launchbox/data/platforms folder to make sure there is if or not there is a Windows.xml.

    I won't repeat @lordmonkus as he covered all the most pressing points. I will however recommend another theme, it's from the same developer of the switch theme his name is @Grila and it's called fundemental, it's lightweight and looks good.

    No, Launchbox and Bigbox are very far from dead. In fact the lack of recent news is simply due to big and important development that actually takes a lot of time to implement. There is no new youtube news videos simply because there has been very little forward facing news recently. Rest assured there is always ongoing work happening and there are some big updates coming in the future.

    Lol, no probs. I was just typing out a long response which i have now deleted. Glad you got it working, that often trips people up, they unzip the theme to a folder named the same as the zip, but inside that folder is another one with the same name. So Bigbox is just selecting the parent folder, but the actual theme contents are another folder deep.

    Welcome to the community. Are you sure you unzipped it correctly? Some times when you unzip you end up doubling up the folder, when you double click the Cleanbg folder in Launchbox/Themes is there another cleanbg folder inside it? There shouldn't be, there should just be a bunch of folders and files.

    As @lordmonkus said that is a strange one. Have you tried deleting the Default controls .cfg and opening mame again, is it still greyed out? The config is in mame/cfg and is simply named default.cfg.

    I have tried this myself in the past, i wanted to play Guitar Hero Metallica on PCSX2 using my old xbox 360 guitar hero controller. I never could get it to work. The guitar is recognised just fine in windows using the xbox 360 wireless adapter i have, but i could never get it working in PCSX2, so i ended up getting the windows version of Guitar Hero 3 and playing that. If you manage to get this working @Blackdog can you let us know how (not that i could probably play it now after spending 2 years using the newer guitar hero live controller on PS4).
