  1. Go to Tools/Manage Emulators, double click Retroarch and then click the associated platform tab, find snes and see what the command line says. Here is how mine looks, i use the bsnes core for snes though.
  2. What snes core are you using in retroarch? And have you made sure that is the core that Launchbox is actually trying to load?
  3. I don't believe that 2 wheels on the same screen is currently supported, but i know nothing about the themeing engine. Maybe @CriticalCid could offer some insight there.
  4. Yeah like i said it shouldn't be zipped, the two loose files go in the overlays folder, (or anywhere really).
  5. Hmm, Are you looking in the correct location? Did you unzip the overlay? There should be two files when you unzip it, a .png and a .cfg. You just point retroarch at the .cfg and that tells retroarch which image to display.
  6. Also to add to that you need to apply it with the ds core loaded for it to associate with that core, then just save a core override in the quick menu.
  7. Have you actually turned the overlay on? It's a option in the same menu, it should look like this.
  8. Well the only extra step in the method i mentioned is typing "*(USA)" during the import no hardship really. This is exactly how i import my roms, like you i have over 3000 snes roms but i only imported the USA versions, all my roms are still on my drive, but just the USA versions are imported to launchbox.
  9. Damn you @DOS76 you just beat me to it.
  10. If your zips are named like Super Mario Bros (USA).zip you can just use the windows search when importing them. So when importing instead of importing the whole folder you use import files, then navigate to the folder and in the explorer search box in the top right of the window you can put "*(USA) and that willfilter to all the USA zips, then just click one then ctrl a to highlight them all and click next.
  11. Have you renamed the platform at all since you imported? Also if you go to Tools/Manage Platforms and double click your Game Boy Color platform, then click the folders tab there are they all pointing to the correct location?
  12. Actually the shot in the op, is a old feature that nobody ever really used, and was therefore left behind. It has no impact on the actual metadata and image scraping within launchbox, that still works just fine. All that part was, was a way to show off your library on the website, but as i said was very rarely used by users so time and effort was moved to other parts of the program that users actually wanted to use.
  13. In the top right of launchbox is a image type dropdown, is that on the correct image type?
  14. If you go to your Launchbox/Images/Game Boy Color folder are there images in there?
  15. If you got into the Launchbox/Data folder there will be a settings.xml you can just delete that to return to out of the box settings. You need to do this while launchbox is closed, also i would copy it somewhere else first before you delete it just in case, shouldn't be a issue at all, but better to be safe.
  16. Well i'm on the same windows version as you, all be it the home version, and i have the same cpu, but 16gb of ram, and a gtx 1060. I have had zero issues with Launchbox.
  17. Very nice, i like how you got the Pearl & Dean music in there as well.
  18. Well in launchbox it will just be a small video like this shot below. Of course though the premium version gives you access to bigbox mode which is designed to use a controller and to showcase the videos much more than standard launchbox, check the second shot.
  19. OK, just been doing some checking and it appears that unfortunately videos are part of Launchbox Premium only. I removed my license to check and i get this premium message.
  20. Generally the movies from emumovies will already be named correctly, but if for some reason they are not they just need to be named the same as the rom. So smb.mp4 would likely not attach to the correct game, but just renaming it to Super Mario Bros.mp4 and it should attach just fine.
  21. Yes this is correct, the free emumovies account will let you grab images only. If you wan't to grab movies as well through launchbox you will have to pay for the emumovies premium subscription. However with the free account that you have you can download the movies directly from the emumovies website and just place them into the correct folders manually, but as you noted in your original post you will be limited to 1.5gb per day at a reduced download speed. This method works just fine though, just download and unzip to the correct location which is Launchbox/Videos/Name of platform.
  22. Ah sorry didn't realise you had one as well, i know nothing about theme development but remembered that grilla had done some work to make it easier for people.
  23. Also bear in mind that some games that do technically work will need the .chd to actually work.
