  1. Not exactly i don't think, but you could trick it. In Launchbox image priorities pick a image type lets say 3d front and then check the front reconstructed images and move that to the top of the list, then in Bigbox choose the 3d images to show and they should show the reconstructed instead.
  2. Jason put out a new beta yesterday where he had changed some of the rom matching stuff, have you tried it on beta 16?
  3. That's probably how i would do it, you could just rename each copy to the name of the actual g&w game that copy will launch to. You would have to rename the images to match in that case though. Sorry i can't help you with the command lines i know nothing about them, but hopefully someone else will see this thread and chime in with some advice.
  4. There is a toggle in Retroarch to auto load a save state, so you could just manually create the save states at the point where you want the game to load, then toggle that on and it should just work.
  5. No it won't touch any of your folders, just the actual program files in your Launchbox folder.
  6. I would suggest reinstalling the previous beta, just go to your Launchbox/Updates folder, i would then delete the newest beta update in there as it seems it got currupted during the download it should be beta 16, then just reinstall the next newest beta directly over the top of your currently non working install. That should take you back to the previously working beta. You will then be prompted to update again when you launch launchbox.
  7. Hi, if you go to manage emulators and add --nogui to the default command line parameters box, that should do it for you.
  8. Ha ha, it's often the small things that trip people up the most, glad you solved the issue.
  9. Thanks @Retro808, much appreciated. That's unfortunately often the case, something we mention is overlooked or not seen by the user, it's a difficult line to walk there. We try to just help but sometimes it's difficult with individual setups
  10. When was .net 4.7 introduced to Launchbox? Should we recommend people with issues to go back to a stable version rather than using a beta?
  11. Sorry i'm confused, or stupid, or both, probably the stupid part though. I really don't know what you are seeing that i'm not. I mean who sits there with Launchbox running watching the cpu? I mean surely the point of Launchbox/Bigbox is to hide the underlying OS as to only see your games. So why would a possible slight spike if at all distract from that? Sorry it's a honest question.
  12. You can just go to your Launchbox/Images folder and delete the cache folder, no harm will come to thee.
  13. Sorry i missed your post earlier, so it's all working good now? Thank jeebus for that. Yeah it is often a small typo or a little file missing somewhere that is the bane of the mods who help as much as they can, but sometimes have to throw there hand's up and say "we have done all we can i'm sorry we couldn't help" So it's good to see a niggling issue sorted. Enjoy your games.
  14. Go to Tools/Manage Emulators, double click Retroarch and then click the associated platform tab, find snes and see what the command line says. Here is how mine looks, i use the bsnes core for snes though.
  15. What snes core are you using in retroarch? And have you made sure that is the core that Launchbox is actually trying to load?
  16. I don't believe that 2 wheels on the same screen is currently supported, but i know nothing about the themeing engine. Maybe @CriticalCid could offer some insight there.
  17. Yeah like i said it shouldn't be zipped, the two loose files go in the overlays folder, (or anywhere really).
  18. Hmm, Are you looking in the correct location? Did you unzip the overlay? There should be two files when you unzip it, a .png and a .cfg. You just point retroarch at the .cfg and that tells retroarch which image to display.
  19. Also to add to that you need to apply it with the ds core loaded for it to associate with that core, then just save a core override in the quick menu.
  20. Have you actually turned the overlay on? It's a option in the same menu, it should look like this.
  21. Well the only extra step in the method i mentioned is typing "*(USA)" during the import no hardship really. This is exactly how i import my roms, like you i have over 3000 snes roms but i only imported the USA versions, all my roms are still on my drive, but just the USA versions are imported to launchbox.
