  1. I think thats the game view and not the platform view, at least thats how i read it. Have you edited the theme in any way, like the folder name? As there should be a bunch of images there.
  2. Wikipedia hasn't been a metadata source for a long, long time now. It was never reliable so was removed at some point, it's better to have no data than to have completely incorrect data.
  3. This is nothing to do with Launchbox and we do not offer support for it.
  4. Select a platform and go to tools/audit and audit the system, in the resulting form you can sort by many things including database ID and different image types.
  5. Those text options menus are static and not editable to add remove items to them, so unfortunately no, what you want isn't possible i'm afraid.
  6. Never seen them before, you would be better off asking the youtuber, but they may be something they made for themselves.
  7. The database is open, feel free to contribute to it. LaunchBox Games Database (launchbox-app.com)
  8. It isnt a feature of launchbox because its really a feature for cabinets, and nobody really uses Launchbox on a cabinet.
  9. Launchbox is 64bit Windows only.
  10. We use their API, so it's not our implementation per se, we use what they provide.
  11. I refer you to my previous comment,
  12. You will need a emulator, Launchbox doesnt play games itself. I dont know what that emulator would be though.
  13. 1. exo is not a emulator, its a collection of games with a emulator. 2. Its nothing to do with us, so you wont find tutorials for it from us, it comes with games so we cant endorse it.
  14. @Faeran is currently live on our Youtube channel doing a theming workshop. Feel free to pop along and say hi everyone. (211) LaunchBox / Big Box Theme Workshop - YouTube
  15. Problem is you are trying to emulate a pretty recent system. Systems like that and also PS3 are going to cost way more to emulate than they are to buy real hardware (most people already have the hardware and see what they can get away with emulating on it, they don usually buy hardware to specifically emulate a platform), that's just the nature of emulation, NES needed a powerful PC when those emulators first appeared, and things haven't changed in that regard, you need hardware many times more powerful than the hardware you intend to emulate.
  16. You dont strictly speaking need No-Intro naming (although that is preferred and what our logic is based off of) as long as you roms are not horrendously named we should be able to match them, but that does of course rely on the names not having a ton of needless/useless extra data in the file names. Do you have a couple of examples of file names that were not matched to games we do have in the database?
  17. You can of course directly save images from the database page you linked earlier, its just a web browser after all.
  18. Looks like you have it imported under Arcade, it should be under Sammy Atomiswave as that platform is in the database, if you go to the details tab in the link you provided it clearly states Sammy as the platform.
  19. I tried reinstalling the same launchbox version from the Updates folder. (Moved the set up into the launchbox folder and ran it.) It opened but had no games, settings etc. Looked like a brand new instance then you installed into the folder, not over the top.
  20. Yeah, we are quite clear about this in the wizard, MAME itself needs to know your rompath for things to work.

  22. Its a plugin and not maintained by us, so not a lot Jason can do.
