  1. LaunchBox doesn't actually have a way to make RetroArch download, or update, without requiring some kind of action. Either through agreeing to it during an import, or manually selecting the Update RetroArch option in the menu.
  2. If I had to make an educated guess, this would definitely be related to your Windows text scaling options. I haven't checked, but the new version of Neon Deluxe Arcade was created in the COMMUNITY Theme Creator which has plugins to make sure things are positioned properly and text sizes are adaptive. Are you using an older version of this theme maybe?
  3. This appears in its own tab at the bottom of the game details, when available.
  4. In Big Box Options, go to either Keyboard Mappings or Controller Mappings and set a Switch View button. Then navigate to a game view and press that button to cycle through all available views.
  5. For the fastest loading time, make sure you don't have too many elements in your views, and it's always best not to use any GIF images, they really slow down loading times. You can also try some tricks, like putting a black rectangle over everything and getting it to animate away using the immediate trigger, after a second.
  6. Hard to say what's going on there. You able to provide your creator files, or post a pic of all your elements? Btw, if your screen is 5:4, I'd recommend you set the aspect ratio to Stretch in the end. That way it will fill up your screen properly. Although it does make it harder when building the theme if you are not building it on your 5:4 monitor.
  7. After doing some tests, I was not able to recreate what you are seeing here. I recreated your scenario, but am seeing it pick Yuzu when I try to add a manual game while on the Nintendo Switch platform.
  8. When you are adding a game manually, do you mean that you choose the "Manually Add Game" option?
  9. While nothing has changed with this tool in a while, there is some configuration steps involved to make it work. If you edit a platform, and go to the Folders tab, you'll need to make sure to point the Game folder to the path where you ROMs exist.
  10. You always have the option to run an update manually overtop your current install, although you should not do this while LaunchBox is open. I'm wondering, if you can restart LaunchBox, are you still seeing issues?
  11. This is something I've never heard of before. Although, I've never ran my entire setup on an unraid server. The fact that all your LaunchBox files were missing makes me feel it's some kind of outside process that happened, but unsure of what that could be. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but glad you had a backup and can keep gaming.
  12. Hi @Gashers, It's possible you are just seeing the clear logo in Big Box. In LaunchBox, right click and edit either Epic or Steam and check the images associated with it.
  13. Hi @mp3deej. This sounds like you've somehow imported your video files as ROMs. To check this, edit one of the affected games and see what's in your ROM File field, located in the "Launching" section.
  14. Hi @CaptPete. You can achieve this by using the Platform Categories filter. In LaunchBox, use the filter dropdown and make sure you are on Platform Categories. Then, right click an item in your list on the left side, choose Add > Category. Categories can contain metadata and media which will be used in Big Box when navigating through your Platform Categories filter. Use the Parents tab to position where you want it shown in your hierarchy. Then you can right click > Edit any of your platforms, go to their Parents Tab and position them where you want.
  15. Here you go. The POC - babynebbia edition - 1.3.zip
  16. Go to the system menu, scroll down until you see View Playlists. In LaunchBox, you can also add Playlists to the Platform or Platform Categories filter, which will then get reflected in Big Box.
  17. While it's not happening on my builds, there are others that seem to be running into similar issues. I would make a post here:
  18. I think you are right in that you already know the answer to this. Unfortunately, LaunchBox cannot get granular in this way, and does treat each game with the same name, for the same platform, as different versions of the same game.
  19. While Big Box doesn't have a global font resize feature, it is possible to do this with custom themes. You'll probably want to dabble into a custom theme for yourself as you have a very specific aspect ratio. I would think the theme you are using looks compressed since it was designed for a 16:9 screen ratio.
  20. While I don't have this issue with my build, one thing that LaunchBox does have is a MAME high score feature. It tries to disable cheats and such before launching the game. You can see if that's interfering by turning that feature off. Tools > Options > Integrations > MAME
  21. While I don't fully understand what you are asking, I did notice that in your last screenshot you have a folder structure that won't work in LaunchBox or Big Box (looks like a folder structure that gets created from using the EmuMovies sync application). You'll want to grab the video files from inside your Video_MP4_HI_QUAL folder and move them to where you other video files are (Your Sony PlayStation 2 folder)
  22. Adding 1 additional app version to a game won't trigger the badge, it requires 2. This is something we'd have to take a look at. For now, you can try this as a workaround: Make sure your HD pack has something in the "Version" field Add a second application, pointing to the regular Zelda ROM file and also put something in the "Version" field
  23. It's tough to say, since it's not always entirely clear which view you are changing to. I do know that custom themes have the ability to block views that they do not use, but this is not always the case. I've never personally seen it miss certain views in its rotation before though, and I can definitely see the benefit in making it more apparent which view you are changing to, to help understand what's going on.
  24. This usually points to third party software and services like sonic studio and nahimic. If you do have it installed, I'd look up how to safely remove them from your computer and disable the service.
  25. Just a guess, but you may want to try and uncheck "Extract ROM archives before running" in your RetroArch emulator settings.
