  1. Try refreshing your image cache. Sometime I find some clear logos do not stick when I change a theme and on occasion need to refresh the cash. The 7 prior posts are talking about this.
  2. Yes. I currently have a version doing that.
  3. It can be done using a custom folder structure in the meantime. I will tweak a theme in the next few days (depending in work). Would require putting all the controller images in a custom folder structure and then the theme will point to it. Since it is not a coded binding built into LB the path would have to match what the theme is coded for. Or is someone decides they want a different path that person would need to edit the theme to point to that path.
  4. Ok. Remove the AHK you have in the Exit AHK tab. It is not needed. Even the default text in the tab tells you an AHK is not needed since Dolphin uses "Escape" by default. The "Exit AHK" tab is only used for the Pause menu's exit command if one is needed, but for Dolphin it is not. Does it work with it removed from there?
  5. Is the issue exiting from within the game or from the Exit option in the Pause menu? If it is from within the game you need to make sure your AHK is inside the "Running AHK" tab. Also I recommend changing that AHK for Exit you have. That version is a hard close and can, in some emulators, mess with save states when closing. The one below is better to use. $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe {{{StartupEXE}}} }
  6. This can easily be done. You really do not need a custom folder. Just use the Arcade - Controls Information folder for this (slight downside is that Mame images will override any custom you make, I just do not download those). Would be nice to have its own folder though. It can also also be done by platform as well. That way in the case of like NES no need to make an image for each game. I have a theme that does this on my daughter's cabinet. Never released it since many of the added layer images are custom for her. I could probably clean it of all that and release it.
  7. In your updates folder inside the Launchbox folder is all the past versions you used. You can launch one of those to reinstall a past version.
  8. You can place any "Platform" or any "Playlist" under any "Category". It does not affect cores used with an associated platform. The "Category" simply is that a category and has no affect on any emulator you assigned to a platform nor the core that platform may use if assigned to Retroarch. In Launchbox simply edit the platform then go to the Parents tab and select the category you want it to show up under. You can even create a new category and call it what you want.
  9. No it is not something that will likely get fixed quickly since it is not something major.
  10. Without seeing what you are seeing it is hard to tell you what needs to be done. It could be any number of things. Can you share a pic of what you see with the theme?
  11. Yeah I do not think meta data only loving users are keeping Launchbox from being left behind. That's quite a reach there. Launchbox is doing just fine providing a great functional and customizable frontend for those who love playing their emulated systems, arcade roms and pc games. But hey who am I to argue with all the users we see and those constantly sharing, providing feedback, and seeking assistance in our forum, Discord, Reddit, Bitbucket and Youtube page.
  12. Right click in the area where your platform names appear (the left hand pane of LaunchBox) and the option will appear. Choose "Add" and Choose "New Category".
  13. No worries, but @DOS76 and @Lordmonkus are the better experts in the differences with Mame. I just remember what they taught me. So take their advice any time you see it.
  14. No. Non-merged contains everything for a game to run in one zip.
  15. Dos's answer is pretty much answering what you are asking. There is not an easy way and you cannot use Launchbox playlists to move them. It is not only a rom/parent/clone rom issue it is support file issue as well. CHD files, bios files, or other support files that games in Mame may need but Launchbox does not care about. Non-merged set would be the best to do this with and again there is no feature in LB to do the moves based on those playlists.
  16. Can you be more specific. What exactly is not working? Controlling inside Launchbox, controlling a game launched from Launchbox? Since iPac is basically a keyboard LB does not have key mappings for keyboard encoders. Launchbox only has mapping optons for a game controller. You mostly move around with the mouse. Game wise you need to make sure you bind your buttons directly in the emulator.
  17. No. BigBox does not auto update. It is a manual process. Viking likely did not code a dark mode for text (TextGamesView) since there is only 1 text view option. He would have to choose between defaulting to a white or dark.
  18. In both the Platform List View and Game List view you change it until it shows a dark view. There is not an actual setting that shows "dark view". You just change the view until it is a dark view. So the best is to set a key or button so you can be in the theme directly and see the view change to set it to a dark view. Platform Wheel 2 and Vertical Wheel 3 will be dark views.
  19. That screen you are showing is only for downloading the video theme. Not for setting the preference in Launchbox/BigBox. It will always revert to the Alpah list sorting unless you set the "Select to Prioritize" and that is only so it sets which version you prefer to download.
  20. No in prior versions this did not happen. Just tested on 10.7 and it stays in place.
  21. If you open Mame without Launching a game then click on "Configure Options > Configure Directories > Roms. In this option you can remap to the roms folder. Or if it is a simple matter that on the laptop it saw the drive as say E: but your pc sees it as something like D just edit the ini file and change the drive letter if the rest of the path is the same. Edit the Mame.ini file located in your mame folder with something like Notepad++ and usually around line 11 or so you will see "rompath" you can edit the rompath there as well.
  22. I think it is the that theme and that view. I can replicate it. If use my normal themes like Unified Redux this does not happen.
  23. Change the view. You can either do it in the view menu or map a key/button to “Change View” and change it on the fly.
  24. I believe Launchbox’s exit hook sends “Escape” key so if the game does not close with escape and does with Alt+F4 then Launchbox exit will not work. You would need to create an AHK to have the button you want to press “Send Alt+F4” to get it to work. As Neil mentions this is not good to do. But that is how you could do it.
