  1. In Launchbox you can set a specific view. At the top where the menu items are click on "Image Group" and select from one of the options.
  2. Knowing what you tried would be helpful so we do not recommend you try those. Any chance you are running BigBox as admin? If so, we recommend not. Does it happen with any other emulator?
  3. That’s why I mentioned I do not think with the Unified theme’s you can use a game specific background. It is looking for platform/playlist image.
  4. Redux will look for a theme specific background and pulls the image from \LaunchBox\Themes\Unified Redux\Images\Theme\Background\ Not sure if you can get it to show the game's fanart background image.
  5. Both Launchbox and BigBox have specific mapping options. Just go there and set your controls.
  6. Map related to what specifically? For game play you need to open each emulator and map controls there. To move around in BigBox you go to options and map either keyboard controls or map gamepad controls depending what controller/arcade stick are using.
  7. What control panel is that? I would check to documentation and see why the Pause button and that other button are mapped to the same key. It seems like both those buttons are set to letter “P”.
  8. There could be a few issue. As old as the mame version is you may need to remove the "-keyboardprovider dinput" portion of text from the default command line when you fo to Manage Emulators in Launchbox and edit your Mame set-up. Can you also post some pics to see if you have something else disconnected. In Launchbox go to >Tools>Manage Emulators and edit Mame. Show a pic of the Details tab and the Associated platforms tab. Then go to a Mame game and right click and edit the game. Show a pic of the Launcher tab and the Emulation tab. Let's get your games working in BigBox before we look at control issue.
  9. I would just bind it to the same key you have bound for Pause in LB/BB . But if you want to delete it an easy way is just to edit the Retroarch.cfg file. Find the line for input_pause_toggle and change "p" to "nul"
  10. Need to know what platform you imported and what emulator you are using. Do the games play when you launch them directly from the emulator (not using Launchbox)? Also I removed your duplicate post in the noobs section. No need for two of tue same posts.
  11. Is the pause the version that is Launchbox driven and it shows the Launchbox/BigBox Pause screen or is it just simply pausing the game and you still see the game? Depending on the answer you would either need to remove the button from bindings in LB/BB or go to the emulator and remove that button from the bind for pause there.
  12. Are you having Launchbox move the rom file when you import? If you are that is why it is adding the -1 after multiple times trying to import the rom. Launchbox will not overwrite a rom or image file it will simply add the -1, -2.
  13. @LaunchRoo Have you tried updating the rating? In Launchbox under tools there is an option to "Download Updated Community Star Rating". There is definitely a community rating for that game.
  14. In LB or BB? My community star ratings show fine in either. The rating should not have anything to do with the mame monthly file update since that rating is pulled from the Launchbox Games DB.
  15. @OhBoy Is this part of a Pause Theme and Startup Theme or just images to be used in them?
  16. What you map to BigBox as Enter and Exit to function within BigBox will not be affected or affect anything in the emulator. You should be fine. I have my P1 Start mapped as Enter in BigBox and as Select when in RA menus and no issues.

    2 Controllers?

If you are talking about in game play that would be up to the specific emulator. Retroarch for example does let you bind controls to an Arcade input and a gamepad input. This is easiest if your arcade controls simulate keyboard inputs as it would not conflict with game controllers (xinput or dinput).
  18. We would need to know for sure. In some cases with those using MameUI and roms working directly in Mame and not in LB that has been an issue with the mame.ini file not being located in the Mame root folder. If you mame.ini is not located where the mame exe file is place it there and test to see if that helps.
  19. What errors are you getting in Launchbox ? Is it missing file errors?
  20. Well Wikipedia has been an issue for a while. So it is not anything you are doing wrong. It just is not working and Jason mentioned it might get removed. As far as scraping those rom hacks as NES @C-Beats summed it up for you.
  21. Did you refresh the Image Cache? Also is the image named exactly as the platform is named?
  22. I will post this on Tuesday. I really did not tweak it much so pretty much looks as the images show. Sorry for the delay, but have not been home for a few days to access my pc. Remember this will only be a functional theme with no media. Any control images I have are unique to my set up and they all have logos made specifically for my cabinets. So not going to redo the thousands of images. This theme will allow to drop your images in the appropriate folders and as long as the images are named as your games/rom files or as the platform is named it should display them easily.
  23. Is it certain platforms you are having issues with? One thing we always recommend is any arcade platform you add always scrape them as “arcade”. Such as SNK Neo Geo if you add as a platform and not a playlist scrape as “arcade”. You say you are having issues with playlists?
  24. Launchbox does not update anything with your roms. What you imported is what it keeps. If you never reimport they just stay the same The only time it can affect it is if you initially added your roms using the Full Mame romset importer. If you do not update your roms and try to run the full importer again after Jason has updated to the latest Mame version it can cause some issues. You should only use this method if you actually have a full Mame romset. The answer on BigBox would be based on what license you bought. Lifetime or yearly? Yearly would mean as long as you are still using the version you were last on when your year expired you can keep using it. If you try to upgrade it will not work. You can only use the versions you downloaded during your year. Lifetime will of course work at any time since you get lifetime updates.
  25. Are all your drivers up to date? I get that exact thing on one of my cabinets and had to switch the video driver. I am not at home to check what I set it to.
