  1. Likely it was not something the team thought to add during the initial inclusion of the additional apps feature. If you would like to see that feature expanded please submit a feature request. Link is located at the top of the forum under "Help & Support"
  2. Does this issue happen in other themes as well?
  3. For feature request please use the "Request a Feature" link located at the top of the forum under "Help & Support". I recommend once you do so, post a link to that feature request ticket in this thread to help drive users who may want the same features to vote.
  4. That's a perfectly valid opinion to have. The good thing about the emulation world is if you do not want to pay for something there are other options. Platform banners just are not in LB yet, as mentioned, because it was never really something users wanted since BigBox is there. That does not mean if more people want platform banners in LB it will not eventually be added. Having to pay for something you want is absolutely normal. My opinion it is perfectly valid to pay someone for their hard work and labor. You are right. There are also a lot of people stealing in emulation world. Along with a lot of people stealing and selling to profit in emulation world. That is more sickening then legitimately paying for something someone works hard on.
  5. And those are the equivalent to our BigBox. BigBox can do what you are asking. Because our devs do this as their job and they are constantly and consistently upgrading the product. In addition our devs take feedback and work with the community to further develop the software. Sometimes it is worth paying developers to support them as they support our want in a program.
  6. Likely because LB is the Windows UI versus BB being the graphical cabinet style UI. Users typically are using LB with text style lists and showing images only for games. There really have not been people asking to show banner media for platforms in LB. So it is not possible since it is not something users have wanted in LB.
  7. Right click a game and choose "Edit" Go to the Emulation tab and change there in the "Choose an Emulator" drop down list. Click "OK" when done. Just changed a few games to make sure there is no issue and the changes only affected the games I edited directly.
  8. Just an FYI until the Bulk Edit gets fixed you can easily set a platform's game manual path to the desired folder by editing the platform name and going to the "folders" tab.
  9. You cannot display them in LB. It is not a feature in LB. Android has it becuase Android is mirroring BigBox capabilities. Android is being developed as a graphical front end along the same lines BB is the graphical front end to LB.
  10. What method did you use to import the roms? Also the 10K games you mention are those 10K of Mame roms? If so, and you used the "Mame Full Set" import option in LB that method only imports roms Mame actually lists as "working" which is just under 3K worth of games. So from your post it sounds like you used to fill set importer and the end result is what is expected.
  11. Over the years I have seen our users are more likely to prefer their own settings over a theme designer’s artistic choices. Which is why I feel we have not seen theme specific config files asked about much. We have definitely had users ask how to get the exact look, but overwhelmingly it is the opposite. I definitely would not want a theme to override how I set my builds up. That is one of the main things about LB I enjoy. The ability to switch to different themes without it altering my settings.
  12. No. One reason is because a user's Image/Video priorities within the LB options can override the image type a theme creator may have designed the look for.
  13. It would be the same as adding the other tables you already have in your Pinball Fx platform.
  14. Is there a difference when you import a single game for the first time and have it download media from EmuMovies? Can you test that and report if you experience the same slow download speeds from EmuMovies?
  15. Can you elaborate on the issue? Is this with single game media downloads or multiple? Have you seen a difference depending on the number games you are scraping? The team has looked at this. In fact in 12.2 release this was specifically addressed. We have had multiple users report speeds have increased for them. Version 12.2 - Released November 8, 2021 Improvement: EmuMovies downloads now use the same multi-threaded downloader that the LaunchBox Games Database uses, which should result in faster download speeds; also thanks to Circo for additional improved speeds
  16. Worth taking a look in your task manager. In the services tab see if you have Nahimic services running. If so terminate it. That has been known to cause graphical issues.
  17. If you are trying to edit it while LB is open it will not work. LB has to be closed. You could just reimport the roms and when you get to the media portion of the import wizard uncheck all the options for the media. LB will attach the existing metadata / media to the import.
  18. Are you talking game play videos or platform videos?
  19. @launchretrogirl2562 This theme was not developed in the CTC. So it cannot be edited in the CTC. You would have to manually edit the theme files or design it in the CTC using the image elements.
  20. The 2 menu option like that would require a plug-in. There is a theme (Eclipse) developed by a forum member who was able to accomplish it, but it is not something readily available in LB/BB current coding.
  21. In BigBox setting you need to set your view to "Platform Categories". In "Views" you can set your startup view to be "Platform Categories" this will get you the view you want and that is how it will be each time you open BB. If you only want it that way for the one session then in the first settings page in BB simply scroll down and select "View Platform Categories".
  22. Now set the priority. The order they are in sets what shows first and so on. Notice the “Move Up” and “Move Down” buttons. Use those to sort which video type is show first, second, and so on.
  23. Open LB and go to Tools >Options you can set the video priority there.
  24. You would need to email support@unbrokensoftware.com and make the request with our team.

Just open the theme's folder and in the /Images folder replace the background.jpg with the one you want. You can also replace the logo.png.
