I've been noticing that for a great majority of my games, there are several versions of the same image, which wouldn't be an issue except one of them is usually at a significantly lower resolution than the others. I'm assuming that "Download Metadata and Media" sees them as different images so it downloads them all. Does anyone have a good system for weeding out the lower resolution images? Thanks for any advice. R

I'd be okay without the video snaps, but I can't get screenshots to show up properly in that location. That area just stays blank or shows a screenshot that then doesn't change when I scroll the games. Anyone else having that issue? Agree with others that CoverBox is the best substitute!

How about adding a BB hotkey option for "Show Fullscreen Video" just as there's already an option for "Show Fullscreen Images." That way you wouldn't have to go to the games detail page to see the video fullscreen.

Tried, but didn’t fix it unfortunately. Also noticed I only get the error when using the theme in the main Platform view. But it’s fine for a specific playlist.

Anyone find a fix for this? I'm getting the same error and also don't have the UNBLOCK button. I wasn't having any issue until recently. Thanks.

Jason, I've suggested this before, but I feel there's a relatively simple short-term fix for the nested folders issue. You already have Platform Categories which let us organize the platforms, but it's not feasible to organize playlists there because then they have to be added to the platform list. If you could remove the need to check "add to platform list" before adding a playlist to a platform category it would make a big difference for organizing. (Additionally it would be nice to be able to put platforms/playlists in multiple platform categories but that would likely get more complicated). Anyway, thanks for listening and I respect your use of the poll results to determine your update priorities.

Thanks for the response! I do have the latest theme and have tried all of the above. Not sure what I'm doing wrong -- this is the only theme I'm having an issue with.

Theme looks great! Unfortunately they are not working for me. I have installed them per the instructions but when I pick them in the Big Box theme selector, and cycle through all views, I just get generic looking themes (no box background) and all of them (NES, SNES, Gamecube) look exactly the same. Any advice on what I'm going wrong? Thanks for any advice! R

Hey Jason, I noticed you added the option in Big Box to use the built-in PDF reader for additional apps that are PDF's. I tried this with a PDF file but after selected in the right-click menu it only brings up a black screen. Thanks for any advice! R

Sorry to hear the theme creator is no longer working on this due to idiots on the internet. Everyone here certainly appreciates his great work. Curious if anyone else is having an issue with the videos no longer playing? It was working for me before, but at some point it stopped showing the game videos. Thanks for any advice.

Ah, fair enough and thanks for the explanation. Somehow GameEx did it, but don't ask me how. Anyway, thanks again for all the great work. Very curious how/if you can pull off the pause menu. I've spent forever setting it up with RL and it is indeed a nightmare.

Great list and thanks for the awesome updates. Question -- does "Custom Nested Folders" include the ability to create playlist folders? (That's what I'm hoping for .) Only disappointment of the poll for me is not including "Launch version of game from another platform" which has received a lot of votes on bitbucket. Maybe next time! Thanks again. R

Unfortunately there is no way to do that in Big Box, though it is often requested. Most people who want that feature use the Rocketlauncher pause menu, but it can be quite difficult to set up.

I have Aeon Nox set to a specific playlist. When I select that playlist, I hear the select sound play before the software freezes up for aprox. 30 seconds before the playlist appears. Afterwards, everything works as normal.

Aeon Nox Redux, recently downloaded, is that 2.0? It's the game video. Great theme.

Well for me at least, it's taking 30 seconds to load Aeon Nox with background videos. It was fixed in Beta 7 but the issue returned in 8.

Certain themes in Big Box are taking a long time to load, such as Aeon Nox (with background videos). It seemed to be fixed in Beta 7, but the issue returned for me in Beta 8.

For those of us using Rocket Launcher, would it be possible to use some combination of the "launch with" command to use Retroarch (on a case-by-case basis) and simultaneously enable netplay?

Yep, that was it! Didn't occur to me since I never use games view in Launchbox. Any chance you'll implement for list view as well?
