  1. I really, really love the design of this. Well done @viking If only there was a view to cater for 16:9 video content. Most of my files are carefully edited game themes that just don't look right when cropped to 4:3. I could download a bunch of game clips which would mostly alleviate the issue but themes are far superior to many of the low-res snaps available on Emumovies. Especially when viewed on a 4K display. Perhaps 16:9 content could be implemented as a transparent background? One can dream..
  2. I have over a dozen PS3 games in my Launchbox collection and this is the solution. Works every time.
  3. I noticed that during the import process EmuMovies no longer has options for Gameplay and/or Video Themes. Games that previously imported a theme will no longer do so when deleting and re-importing. Did EmuMovies change the way they operate? EDIT: I just checked my EmuMovies profile and it says I am a Basic member even though I had recently paid for a yearly subscription? How would I go about rectifying this?
  4. Wish I had known about that thread earlier. Good to know people are working to get those hard to run games to playable states. Also thanks for Killzone!
  5. @PaDeMoNiuM that would be great thanks. Spy playlist is looking good! I could imagine something similar with the Tom Clancy franchises being highlighted (Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, etc).
  6. Nice, I was hoping for that to be the case. No problem if it doesn't work out, can still manually set it up.
  7. Would anyone be willing to put together a Tom Clancy theme? There are dozens of games on several platforms to draw inspiration from which would make this an ideal fit.
  8. @Zombeaver it appears Primal is now finally playable at decent speeds in HW mode thanks to a custom Gsdx plugin as reported here (scroll down to prafull's post with instructions). Exciting! Video proof:
  9. @Jason Carr When LB associates an OBS file with the corresponding game is there a way for it to move the video instead of just copying it to the game's folder? As it stands, it will duplicate each recording so I have to remember to delete the original files in the OBS video folder. Also, do you know of a way to increase the recorded volume within OBS? I noticed that most of the downloaded game themes are significantly louder than my recordings which means lots of volume adjustments while browsing. Cheers!
  10. I have been among the first 100 backers and will be receiving my unit with recoil in August. Can't believe it has been over a year since the Kickstarter! So excited.
  11. What are you trying to achieve? It sounds like expected behaviour to me? Similar to how a movie recorded in widescreen format will be letter-boxed if watched on a narrower display. Or do you want to crop the video such that it literally cuts off the top and bottom? That would be the only one way to force a 4:3 source to fit into a 16:9 aspect ratio without black bars.
  12. That's great news, I just tested by removing and then re-downloading the config for Soul Reaver 2 (without deleting the patch file) and it worked just fine.
  13. Done that. Would love to know why that is happening but so be it. At least everything is updated now.
  14. Good one, can't wait to see what's next. As for MGS 3, it still throws the error but it might have something to do with naming conventions. I only have the standard version (not Subsistence) and named accordingly in LB. But it is still picked up by the plugin and lets me download a config (before crashing). Strange!
  15. Hmm, so I deleted 67454C1E (Tekken Tag Tournament) from the cheats folder (not cheats_ws), then removed the config and tried to re-download. Still crashes. It does create a new patch file in the cheats folder though..
  16. In the process of re-downloading all configs to apply the widescreen changes. ICO makes LB crash every time even after deleting its ini folder manually. EDIT: Seems to happen with other games too, out of all the games in my collection the following will show the same behaviour: - ICO - Metal Gear Solid 3 - Onimusha 2 and 3 - Shadow of Rome - Tekken Tag Tournament - Tenchu Wrath of Heaven
  17. Yeah I was wondering about that. Why would aspect ratio be the only setting that doesn't change automatically without tweak files? Everything else seems to change according to the spreadsheet, regardless of default values.
  18. Yeah, that did it. My PCSX2 default config has aspect ratio set to 4:3 because some patches are better than others. Changing that to 16:9 and re-importing the config files retains the widescreen option where necessary. Thanks.
  19. @Zombeaver interestingly, none of the configs I download come with widescreen options enabled as per the spreadsheet. All of them are correctly set up except widescreen support. The widescreen patch option is ticked under emulation settings but the aspect ratio is not set to 16:9. What gives?
  20. No, I like yours better! The original has 'Ultimate Frontend' underneath the Big Box slogan which is tacky. The audio is better on yours too, especially towards the end where the other version has an annoying volume spike. Out of curiosity, where can I buy templates like this?
