  1. @ALIE Currently console names have to be said exactly, yes, but we can tweak this in the future. Yes, the voice response can be turned off in the options. No idea if a Kinect would work as a microphone; I've never tried. @shinra358 That's a great idea, I agree that that would be nice. I need to add a "Navigate to {Game}" command.
  2. Hi @Blusky, we actually used to import games that way but it was very problematic because Steam doesn't do a good job of maintaining those files. I wish there was a better way to work with installed Steam games but we haven't found a good way yet.
  3. Very nice @viking! Looks great! I'll do my best to get you those features next week.
  4. Hi @Zottel, if you're keeping everything in your LaunchBox folder, then it won't be necessary. LaunchBox uses relative paths and if you keep everything inside of that folder, it will automatically work wherever you move it, so you shouldn't need to use paths like that.
  5. Hi Jett, we did restructure the image folders a few versions back. What version did you update from? If you customized your platform image folder paths you may need to re-set them after the upgrade.
  6. Hi @bujinkanrn, open up Tools > Manage Platforms in LaunchBox and see if there is more than one platform listed there.
  7. Thank you guys, yes, there are some issues here that I am working with @circo to fix.
  8. Thank you guys; this would be relatively easy to do. Can someone put in a Bitbucket ticket for it using Issues/Requests?
  9. There are a couple other options; you can use the Delete key at the end of the Steam import wizard to remove the games you don't want. For non-Steam games you can also just manually add them one by one and point to the application's EXE. Not the quickest though I know, so monkus probably has the best solution.
  10. Ah, I see. I'm sorry, I was confusing the FilterDetailsView with the GameDetailsView. I get it now; so hmm, I guess the best solution would be to not use the FilterDetailsView at all and manually add whatever data you want using the new data binding features. Would that work?
  11. Thanks @Evil_Orko; I believe we do have a ticket for this in Bitbucket.
  12. Hi @alesego, unfortunately I haven't added searching yet for changes status, same for making changes once they're in the queue. Still a lot to do on the LaunchBox Games Database, which is why it's still Alpha.
  13. Hi @xmas unfortunately that is normal for the moment. I still need to add support for those extra axes.
  14. Hi Bonoscot, moving the LaunchBox folder works fine if you keep everything inside the LaunchBox folder. Switching drives can cause problems though if you have games and media outside of the LaunchBox folder.
  15. New beta is out guys with voice recognition; that's why I've been MIA for the last 2 days.
  16. @Drybonz Naturally it's easier to focus on Big Box because that's what people are most excited about right now (and also what drives sales). LaunchBox has a lot more features still currently than Big Box as well, which is another reason for the focus. I'm doing my best to implement the most-voted features on Bitbucket primarily, which are also leaning towards Big Box. There's no way I'm going to forget about LaunchBox; that would be ridiculous, but I will continue to implement the most voted tickets and the most important features first, and I don't see that many crucial features to add for LaunchBox currently. What are you hoping for us to add? @Zombeaver The scrolling text getting cut off bugs me too, but I didn't have much luck quickly coming up with a solution that works for all monitor sizes, etc. I may just make it work best for 1080p though and adjust it some. @CriticalCid With the release dates, you can use specific formatting codes directly in the XAML in order to display the dates differently. I think there's an example of this in the PDF, using a format of "d" or something like that. You can look up .NET date formats and that should help. @wallmachine I'm always interested in ways to improve performance. However, I'm doubtful that Hyperspin's code would have any good ideas, to be honest, as everything is drastically different between Big Box and Hyperspin. I wish I had access to your machine in order to test specifically on your machine to determine what the problem was. Remind me what kind of performance you're seeing? I know we've back and forth on this for ages. @RetroArcade and @polymorph77 This is still baffling me; I haven't been able to reproduce disappearing emulators or changing cores. Let me know if anyone has any more details on this.
  17. Sounds like this confusion is all just because the platform names are sometimes changing when downloading metadata updates. If you use custom platform names, be sure not to overwrite metadata in the update wizard. Currently, when changing platforms, media does not move to the new folders, so unfortunately @crimsonnight it's just a matter of moving the media (images and videos) from the old folders to the new folders. I plan to fix both of these issues very soon.
  18. Ah, sure. I think you should be able to modify the FilterDetailsView to hide Notes there. Does that work?
  19. Merged sets would be a major challenge, because it goes against the way LaunchBox sets everything up. But I agree that that would be a great thing to add.
  20. Hi @crimsonnight, look under the Windows platform. Are they there?
  21. That is definitely planned, @mattsoft, should be soon.
