  1. Hi @Scanno, you can use Additional Applications to do different things via the right-click menu in LaunchBox, or the game details menu in Big Box, which allows you to run multiple different things per game. However, I'm not sure of a way to change the fullscreen settings that way. It would depend on the emulator and the emulator would have to support changing the fullscreen setting via the command line. So unfortunately it wouldn't really be easy to do, and probably isn't possible for everything.
  2. Ah, good point lol. I'll take a look at that. I'm going to add some more features to the wheel today to allow for some more customization as well.
  3. Hi @Styphelus, I'm planning to add a media audit feature but unfortunately that's not there yet. Currently there's no good way to do this, sadly.
  4. @ThePolish Not currently, but that would indeed be a good idea.
  5. Hi guys, I'm working on allowing you to better customize the images in the wheels; that is coming. Also, if you haven't checked out the latest beta from yesterday there is a new Documentation.pdf file in the LaunchBox\Themes folder that should *really* help.
  6. Hi @SilverChin, that is a good idea; can you add a ticket for that using Issues/Requests in the header? Currently you can hide games from Big Box just by marking them "hidden" in LaunchBox, but then they would always be hidden.
  7. Hi @smallsbig, yes, this is currently a pain point when using the same image folders for various frontends. LaunchBox shouldn't rename any existing files you have, but if you download additional media, it will use its own naming convention. There's not really a good way around this since LaunchBox supports so much more images than most other frontends.
  8. Wow, I believe you're the first to ask, @Bonoscot. Yes, a theme would need to be developed for 21:9 monitors.
  9. I'm guessing it's a DirectX issue, if it's related to sound, but that is certainly an odd issue. I can get you the 6.7 version but I would be very surprised if that solved the issue. https://www.dropbox.com/s/b8f9j42owjbjitz/LaunchBox-6.7-Setup.exe?dl=0 You should be able to download that and just install over top of your existing installation. Do make a backup though just in case because it's an odd scenario to downgrade. Let me know if that solves it, but honestly I don't expect that it will.
  10. That is correct. Unfortunately it's currently not possible to replace the startup image. There is an intro video ticket on BitBucket to vote on though.
  11. Hi bran, sadly this isn't possible as of yet, sans for doing it manually (which sucks I know). We still have some work to do in that department.
  12. Hi Steve, EmuMovies does not include Steam banners that I know of; that, and all images from EmuMovies are available without a paid subscription. Paid EmuMovies is what gets you the video downloads. Sorry to hear that you were somehow misinformed. Sadly I'm not aware of any source that has Steam banners for all systems.
  13. Very, very cool @nosh. I just put out a new beta today that adds a bunch of documentation and also a lot more possibilities, so I expect that the new stuff will really help all around. Changing colors per platform should definitely be possible using the same strategies that I go through in the latest tutorial: I had implemented a horizontal CoverFlow view just recently in the live streams, so that should help there. However, I think there are a few things that still need a bit of wrapping up with it. I will probably have to add opacity options in order to make them transparent like that. Let me know how it goes with the new documentation and such and I'll do my best to answer any further questions and get you what you need.
  14. Lols. Derailed. I've added items to my short list to allow disabling sounds in attract mode, and also check on that clear logo not working issue. Regional sorting isn't there yet, unfortunately. Just put out a new beta with our work from the live stream this morning, which adds untested support for LEDBlinky. We also added some options that allow for a lot more flexibility in data binding for the custom themes, and I spent the afternoon typing up 10 pages of documentation for the themes. There's a new Documentation.pdf file in the LaunchBox\Themes folder (or at least there should be after starting up Big Box with this beta).
  15. Yes, we will be working to optimize startup times again soon.
  16. Thank you for that @CriticalCid, and thank you @Zsolan!
  17. Hi Red, I assume you were updating from a rather old version. The images were indeed restructured in a previous version and if you had customized the folder paths they didn't automatically move. Apologies for the trouble.
  18. Hi @McSquid, the first thing I would suggest is to try changing the video playback engine in Big Box. That is really strange though; I don't believe there were any significant changes between 6.7 and 6.8 that would cause something like that. We will help you troubleshoot it though.
  19. Thanks @niglurion. I'm hoping we can get that issue figured out after we fix the VLC stability issues.
  20. Hi @ckp, Big Box is saving settings when that happens, though it really shouldn't be taking anywhere near that long. If you can create a Bitbucket ticket for it and put any details you can in there, I'd appreciate it.
  21. Hi @breite07, try dragging the actual ROM files themselves over to LaunchBox instead of using a folder. I'm not quite sure why that would be happening, but generally there's less guess-work to do if you select files instead of folders.
  22. Sadly Retroarch has been failing me for a long time now. All NES and SNES cores in Retroarch refuse to play without minor audio and video hiccups. It's the kind of thing that wouldn't bother most people but I find it incredibly jarring and annoying. I have this problem on three different systems with different video cards and sound cards and it's happening on all of them. I'd really like to find a fix but I feel like I've tried everything and I got so annoyed with it that I'm giving up on it for a while lol. All I can figure is that either people just aren't as picky as me, or there's something unique that I have in the three of my test systems that is causing it.
  23. Yeah, there's no question. This is murdering pretty much all other emulators. It's 100% perfect for me with no audio glitches or anything, which is saying something because nothing else is playing without any glitches for me. Not to mention I can use Retroarch shaders. It's a huge win.
  24. Hi @lordmonkus, have you gotten puNES to work with LaunchBox? It looks like it would be my favorite NES emulator but I can't seem to get it to start up fullscreen. I see the command line parameters but for some reason they're not working for me when launching games.
