  1. did you try coleco -cart without the path to the rom In MAME just coleco -cart works without a path. Like I said I never got it working without the software list roms
  2. You can also make an empty txt file and make that the emulator and then you don't have to edit the emulator out afterwards
  3. People make sound packs for BigBox you just replace the files in the sounds folder with your sounds name them the same as what is in the file currently. The ones I have are .wav I don't know if that is required or not.
  4. In RA its System\MAME\ROMs\A5200 last time I tried to use it in RA though you actually need the hash files and the softwarelist roms. Its been awhile since I MESSed with it.
  5. If they are named after the roms then yes you would just add them in the appropriate image folder inside of your Arcade Platform in LB same for any video snaps
  6. Make sure LB is closed when you do this and then save all the changes it would be smart to make a back up of your data folder 1st
  7. Yeah I would do find Games replace L:\Games
  8. Yeah I'm at a loss if it worked good before I'm unsure why it wouldn't now you could probably go into Windows 10 settings and roll back to the previous build as long as it hasn't been longer than 10 days (or at least that's how the Insider Preview works I've never needed to roll back a mass release build before.
  9. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/ Maybe someone over here can help you better I know some users have those but I don't know how often they frequent the forums here.
  10. Demul doesn't run Model 2 and 3 stuff as far as I know it runs Naomi Naomi GD Naomi 2 Naoim 2 GD Sammy Atomiswave Sega Hikaru Gaelco and Cave stuff. That's the 1st I've heard about it running Model 2 and 3
  11. Your best bet it to use the find and replace function in NotePad++ from the menu find is under search I believe, once open you type in the path you originally had and run a count to make sure it finds them if the count is not zero you typed in the right path from there click the replace tab and type in the new path so if your previous path is C:\LaunchBox\Games your new path can be z:\Launchbox\Games or even Z:\Games if you don't want to move the LB folder. You can use a network drive or even a network share (as I do) and then the structure would be \\NetworkPC\Games (\\WHS2011\Emulators\"PlatformName" in my case)
  12. No I'm a computer geek I've had some of them since 2007 I have 4 desktops as HTPC's in Bedroom, Kitchen, Living Room and Basement I have a laptop available in 3 of those rooms so I can still get online if I'm watching something on my HTPC's I have 3 tablets one that never leaves my bed side one that is connected to a telescopic gamepad and acts as a handheld and one that I mount in my car. I have a MeeGoPad T02 that I bought to use for my projector. I have a small form factor machine in my Arcade machine an AOI touchscreen desktop that is connected to six monitors for my main desk plus a laptop and a desktop that are pretty much purposeless but still kicking around so Its actually 15 on the recount. Plus I have two servers I'm running one with Windows Home Server 2011 and the other Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials.
  13. Game mode is actually great if you have a low spec system and many people misunderstand what it does as it doesn't make the game play better it just stops most backend processes while you are playing a game and gives the game the majority of the system resources I have a small form factor PC in my Arcade machine and when BB runs in game mode it knocks my always extremely high CPU usage down into the 30 to 40% range. I've been running the creators update since 4-11 on 14 different Win 10 PC's without issue so I'm guessing some software on your PC is interfering with it.
  14. Yeah I don't have my Game DVR disabled and I don't have any problems. This update wasn't a Insider Preview update right and you are just running stable release of Windows 10
  15. Yeah when it 1st came out software like MSI Afterburner was causing a lot of issues making thing unplayable but they I believed fixed there issue so it could be another program on your PC causing the issues.
  16. I would look at your graphics drivers 1st see if you need to update your drivers
  17. Well FDS and Famicom need an NES core and not a SNES core
  18. This is difficult to troubleshoot since there isn't much information here but lets look at a few things are the Famicom games in their own platform and if so did you add a associated platform for them in manage emulators by editing your RA entry? For the disk system games do you have the bios in the RA system folder? (This may apply to the Sattelaview also I've never bothered with it and don't know if it needs a bios or not) Also if you configured FDS is its own system it would also need to be added to the associated platform All associated platforms have to match the name you gave the platform when you added the system.

    Demul problems

2 all the GD games require the CHD 3 this depends on how you have things setup I have them all in different directories but every directory you wish to use has to be added to your paths in the Demul settings. I've never seen the last error as I only use a 360 pad myself with Demul
  20. I'm not sure if this is a premium feature only but if you go to tools>options there are settings for both background priority and Default background the priorities should let you uncheck clear logos and then they won't show up as backgrounds any more.
  21. Send {Alt Down}{Enter} Sleep 2000 Send {Alt Up} paste this into the AHK tab for your standalone under tools manage emulators and the stand alone will go to full screen on its own.
  22. Oh spend the extra hundo on the microcenter one it has DDR4 a 1000 series GPU and a 7th gen chip that is a way nicer and modern PC for only $100 more.
  23. Strange I updated awhile ago and didn't come across this issue.
  24. Try to put it in the associated platform tab instead.
