I noticed in the video you do have the SNK classics which is a auto generated playlist which so is NeoGeo MVS

I basically have a base setup of LB that I just copy to any other computer and it works usually its that easy as long as everything is on the same drive

1 yes if no other drives dvd or removable are plugged in then D should be the 1st letter it adds. 2 Dolphin Citra PPSSPP and Desmume are all stand alone emulators that I use instead of the RA cores for whatever reason. You can always try those cores along with the stand alones and see which you actually prefer. Demul has no core but I do recommend it over any of the RA cores for Dreamcast. 3 MAME and things like FBA have years next to them for older cores the latest up to date ones are just the name which ones you want to use will depend on your ROM set. Some cores will depend upon your system specs which emulators will be best to use. 4 Updating the emulator or LB shouldn't effect anything as long as your paths don't change. Definitely updating LB should never effect your emulators working. 5 Demul needs specific setup in LB there are tons of posts and tutorial that explain everything you need to know 6 Yes some need bios and you do need to find them on your own even certain systems in RA will require bios files to be put in the systems folder of RA 7 for PCSX2 you will find that you can't run all games on the same settings some will need special settings. I see Neil already answered as I was typing this so hopefully I don't bore you with a bunch of redundant information

While that would probably work fine it wouldn't be very intuitive to new users and then we would actually have to have documentation on how the program works to explain it.

By not having focus I mean sometimes a program will show on top (on the monitor) but Windows itself will be focused on another application this was an issue with BigBox for awhile and mouse clicking on the screen would then give you control of BB with either you keyboard or controller but while not in focus it would seem like it wasn't doing anything. If your keyboard is still working when you open ePSXe with out mouse clicking the screen then it probably isn't a focus issue. However like I said LB shouldn't be the culprit as it is simply launching programs and it has no actual interaction with the emulator other than that so I'm not sure how it would be causing your problem.

Also another quick question that might help us get to the bottom of things when you imported your games into LB did you leave them where they were or did you move them into the LB games folder? If you did move them to the games folder did you then edit your MAME.ini file to reflect that your path had changed from the previous path?

Is maybe the emulator launching and not have focus in Windows LB shouldn't effect how your controller works with the emulator at all.

Okay thanks for the info. Got that working and the high score part of it works with the games that I mostly play on it. I'm only using it with regular MAME but still works with the same command line.

What is the cart xm for?

Pretty cool I have gamepad encoders in my machine so they are seen as xinput but that is a pretty crazy solution.

To add it to a Playlist at least to my knowledge you would have to find the game and add it manually so you would need the title not the rom name if there is another method I don't know of it

No its called Torrent Check and I don't know who makes it but do know the name of the programs I post. I learned about it from a post on the PleasureDome forums. Sounds like the program works exactly like the one you are describing though

yeah no clue can't remember if maybe that was before we switched to the new forums and none of the images or links came across or if its missing for some other reason.

After you delete your library are you running the clean up images utility from the tools menu that should remove all the images for games no longer n LB. When you remove a platform it does not delete any of the media so every time you are reimporting it is just attaching the old media again. The tool is only for images and any additional media like manuals music and videos has to be removed manually. If you already imported your games again the best way to get rid of the box fronts is to navigate to your LB folder go to images then your steam platform (whatever you are calling most likely it would be Windows) find the box front folder and delete everything in there and you shouldn't have any more box art popping up

After you import you games you can edit your Arcade platform and point the folders to the MAME Extras appropriate paths if you wish to use them instead but you can't use both paths you could always move the extra folders into the appropriate LB folder and then just change the folder path in the MAME.ini file so it also uses your LB folders.
