    I just use LB and BB from a data drive over USB 3.0 and it works fine for me. Its been said there are performance gains from running LB from your SSD but I personally prefer to run my OS from the SSD with as little of anything else on it as possible.

    I wonder if it is 4 way joystick. The reason I never play Pac-Man is due to the control limitations of only having 8 way controls. Totally ruins the experience IMO.

    I would try either reinstalling the latest update over the existing one you can find it in the updates folder and it will only overwrite you .exe files and none of your data if that doesn't work I would try making a new folder and reinstalling it there and then copying your data over to that and see how it goes.

    do you use remap files (at least that is what I think they are called they are like overrides but for controller stuff instead)

    you should be fine with using videos with your specs.

    The only time I've heard of that happening is with antivirus but at the same time I've never heard of Defender flagging LB before either. I'd just chalk it up to some weirdness and hopefully it won't happen again.

    I'm not really a DOSBox user but I am pretty sure this can be done hopefully one of our DOSBox experts like @Zombeaver will chime in and help you out

    can you set DOSbox to run in a windowed full screen and not true full screen? Or is the issue that you mouse is stuck in DOSBox?

    why wouldn't you just play the games in PCSX2 by ripping the disc they are on into an iso

    I don't know what you've done but you shouldn't need to run LB/BB as admin and actually doing so can create other issues with programs that work in conjunction with LB I would try making another install and then just copy over your license, images, video, music, manuals and data folders to the new install. Where are you installing LB? Its been known to cause permission issues if it is installed in the program files folder if by some chance that is where you installed it to.

    I believe that by the file name will work just as well as by the title but it is neater if it uses the title name in my opinion.

    If you go to tools manage platforms and edit a platform under the folders tab you can change the directory of any media folders but you can only do so one at a time.

    With Insider Previews you only have 10 days to rollback your build after that you are SOL

    Just try running the installer again.

    If you had the wrong bios I believe there would be an error message telling you which files where missing from it.

    here is me running Demolish fist with the latest bios from the MAME set. I actually have my MAME folder added as the path in my settings for Demul and it launches it fine from there I have just found that Demul may not be using the latest ROMs as I tried Clay Shooting and the file in MAME isn't the same size that Demul is expecting so Demul may not be up on the latest changes to MAME.

    so in Demul awave is still the system name but it should work with awbios if that is the latest the MAME is using.
