  1. I think the volume adjust controller automation in LB is for LB volume, not emulator volume so maybe that is sending some weird command to RA giving you that message.
  2. Yeah, works fine for me. Did you mess with any of the input hotkey binds in Retroarch at all ?
  3. My best guess would be that you have those same buttons bound to something in Retrarch causing a conflict.
  4. No problems with OpenGL and G-Sync here, no screen tearing or any other issues.
  5. Check your audio driver in RA as well as check the volume to make sure it didn't get set to a really low setting or set to mute or not enabled.
  6. More ram is never a bad thing especially if the price is reasonable.
  7. No, your best bet for that right now would be to create a 2nd instance of the emulator with that custom command line and then you can set the games you want to use it using the bulk edit tool to change the emulator.
  8. An i7 would be overkill but a nice i5 with a high clock speed would be very good. i7s are more for productivity and has less impact on gaming, what you want for emulation is high clock speed and single thread performance though some of the newer emulators such as RPCS3, CItra and Cemu do take advantage of multiple cores now.
  9. My definition of perfectly fine is it runs smooth. On the crappy old Athlon 3800 yeah I have to make some settings tweaks and a light weight theme but it runs smooth. But my 8350 runs BigBox butter smooth will all the goodies, videos and thousands of games. I stand by my statement that if you are having performance issues then you have something wrong with your system.
  10. Explain how it runs perfectly fine on both my systems then. Windows 7 AMD Athlon 3800+ @ 2.4 GHz 2 gigs ram Radeon 7850 (1 gig DDR5 vram) Some generic 160 gig hard drive Windows 10 AMD 8350 @ 4 GHz 16 gigs ram GTX 970 graphics card 2 TB Western Digital Red If it doesn't run well on a 5 Ghz 8700k + 980 Ti you may wanna look into making your system run properly.
  11. Just my opinion but I would go for as fast of a CPU as you are willing to spend money on. More CPU power means you can use higher quality emulators and if you use Retroarch or GroovyMame you can use higher Frame Delay settings to reduce input latency.
  12. Remove the plugin, Launchbox Next is still early in development and plugin support doesn't work.
  13. That looks like a plugin you have installed for a theme, try removing it and running Launchbox Next.
  14. Launchbox is always being optimized and improved, it is an ongoing thing.
  15. Do you have "Check for Updates" enabled ? It's under Tools > Options > General > Updates
  16. No, this is not possible to do unless someone writes a plugin for it. This was something I asked for recently and Jason put it on the last poll but it received very few votes (362). Hopefully someone can make a plugin to do this, this would be tricky to do with a split or merged set however because of the fact that bios files are not listed in the xml files. I am still accepting input on the "No Filler Version 2" batch files I will be creating when Mame 200 and it's rom set releases in a few months time. If you want to post any thoughts on that feel free to do so.
  17. For Database Small things post in this thread here:
  18. Do you mean in the rom file itself ? You can simply rename it or use a bulk renamer for large groups of files, Bulk Rename Utility http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Main_Intro.php
  19. No problem, hopefully you can get it sorted and if not there is always Retroarch and its PSX cores which are just as good if not better though it does have slightly higher CPU requirements.
  20. I think your issue may be a DPI scaling issue, a quick Google search found this thread here
  21. Yeah I noticed that you used the Japanese box art after looking for some art for mine, I just wasn't familiar with some of the Japanese box art, lol. Glad you liked the Gradius and Street Fighter ones. The Demons Crest one is getting near completion now according to the posts over on the Zeldix site. Just some final tweaks being made to the patch and audio tracks. For now though the the Enhanced SPC version is available.
  22. Yeah I just set the desktop resolution to match my actual desktop resolution, on my HTPC it's set to to 1920x1080. Yours should be set to match yours. I know I have encountered your problem before but I can't remember what exactly caused it, I wonder if maybe you got some sort of scaling set in your Windows Display settings since you are on a 4K display and that may be causing the issue. Not sure at all, just throwing something out there for now.
