  1. If your roms are in their own folders and games in their own platforms in Launchbox this isn't a problem.
  2. Yeah.
  3. Yeah it's broken again, @Jason Carr is working on a fix but not sure yet what that will be. It appears that they broke the API so either Jason will have to get a new one and hope they don't break it again or will just have to switch over to users getting their own API to import.
  4. No, they would keep the emulator they were using before changing platforms. You don't need to have separate exe's, you would setup 2 emulators with their own command line parameters but they can point to the same Retroarch install.
  5. If you already have both of these cards use the Quadro. I wasn't familiar with either card but after a quick Google search it seems that one has 4 gigs of GDD5 vram while the Radeon card has 1 gig of GDDR3 vram. The amount of ram isn't a big deal but the type is. In my HTPC I have an older Radeon 7800 series card with 1 gig GDDR5 vram and it works great for emulation with shaders and BigBox.
  6. The arrow pointing left in the upper left corner of the window.
  7. I won't mention any names but I saw one person complaining about it but oh well
  8. Awesome, good to hear you are going to be working on it.
  9. Just a guess but I would imagine it's a bug in the nightly build causing problems with it launching via command line. Would have to test it out loading a game using the command prompt, shortcut or some other command line method.
  10. Just tested with the latest nightly build on the site and crashes out but 1.5.4 stable works perfectly fine.
  11. It already does know. Irrelevant to Launchbox. It doesn't matter. No different from how it is now already. Locking this thread now.
  12. Yeah it's handy despite certain members of the RA team not liking it because it uses up their server bandwidth.
  13. Yes, it's not working and needs an update from the author. https://forums.libretro.com/t/i-made-a-nightly-updater-program/5617/111
  14. Yeah, Jason would love to sell a preloaded system with emulators and roms all packaged up neatly but it's illegal to do so.
  15. I'm fairly certain the Retroarch guys would have a fit if you we included a direct "download" button beyond the link to their site and beyond that there is nothing we can do. On the PC side of things people have to set it up themselves which as I have said is not hard and we have plenty of video and written guides to help with it, plus we are always here on the forums and discord to help out.
  16. Lemmings has been done. http://www.zeldix.net/t1637-lemmings
  17. It really isn't that difficult to do though and we have tons of video guides and even my written guide to walk people through the whole setup process: I am a huge fan of teaching people and helping them when they get stuck over just making it "all done with a click of a button" when it comes to these sort of "gray area" things. Once the Retroarch default command line and core update for Launchbox gets done it should help a bit. In the mean time though we do have a thread with recommendations.
  18. Setting it up "automatically correctly" on a PC is a very different thing because there are so many variables in the equation. Retroarchs default settings is pretty good out of the box but the end user still has to decide which core to use. There will be some work done in the near future to help the end user set their cores in Launchbox, the current default cores are outdated.
  19. "Windows Aero" has been known to cause problems in the past with some systems, I have it disabled on my HTPC running Windows 7.
  20. There are always going to be new features being added, of course you may not care about any of them but who knows maybe some of them will be of interest to you. Just in case you haven't seen the results of the latest poll you can check it out here https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-V9D22LCH8/ the top 16 will be implemented in next while and beyond that who knows what exactly will be coming.
  21. Good to hear you got it working a way that is suitable.
  22. That is the plan as far as I am aware of. CLRMamePro is a good tool but very awkward to learn how to use and remember how to use it after a few months of not using it. Thanks for the input on which set to use, I will be taking opinions for a while before I make my final decision and do the batch file.
  23. This may or may not be of some use to you: You got a very good CPU but you could do with more ram, 2 gigs is pretty low for modern systems but as you see in that thread I have an old PC setup as an HTPC and that only has 2 gigs of ram and it's all good with BigBox but I am also not emulating the DS with it either.
  24. You cannot have apps at the top level where the platforms are right now, this was something on the recent poll but received very few votes. https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-V9D22LCH8/ 4th from the bottom.
  25. Most people won't care about this one at all but I did make my own GWAR pcm pack for Rock N Roll Racing so I made a cover to go with it.
