-L "cores\mupen64plus_libretro.dll" -c "config\Nintendo64.cfg" There is an example command line that would put in the Associated Platforms section for your Retroarch emulator. Just modify the path to the config you are using for the core you want to use it after.

After playing with the custom playlists all that is really needed is to just add the ability to create folders in the playlists that would/could then hold another folder and other playlists.
-
@Zombeaver got them working using the .m3u playlist. I have not tried it on the Saturn but I am assuming they used the same method as the famicom disk system where you have a button for the "tray" and one for the "disk # or side). So I assume you press the "tray" button once, then press the "disk" button and then close the tray and it should just continue on. Hopefully Zombeaver will have a better response.

You stay out of this @SentaiBrad the man wants scanlines, don't be coming around here pushing your silly non scanline pixel scaling propaganda on us
-
I switch around once in a while depending on my mood. When I like heavier scanlines I like crt-aperture but easymode-halation or one of the hyllian shaders. Another one I like and used to use it all the time is royale-kurozumi in the \cgp folder. Your display resolution and colours may vary with it and how good it looks. Check it out though because it is a really good shader if you want the high quality PVM look. Shaders are all personal preference so take a look at them all and take note of the ones you like til you find the right one. Glad you liked the tutorial.
-
General rule is to use OpenGL shaders but if you have a problem with it or it doesn't seem to work try the CG. Gslang shaders are for if you are using the Vulkan renderer.

That game is available as a .dim file format as well. There is nothing in that video indicating what file type is being used but judging by the Drv0 and Drv1 lights it looks like 2 floppy disk images.
-
Not sure if Mess supports those specific file types or not but if it doesn't you will either have to find a way to convert or use an emulator that does support them.
-
Yes, 2.3 is fine though you will want to edit the Project64.cfg file found in the Config folder of your Project64 install folder. You will want to make sure that Run Count= is set to -1 [Support Project64] Run Count=-1 Otherwise you could encounter some nag screens after loading the emulator so many time. But all the adware bullshit that was included in the previous releases has been removed.

This was what I had envisioned when the whole idea behind Nested Filters got talked about. The ability to create sub wheels with whatever name we wanted much like a folder tree on your hard drive.

Mupen64plus is the same core that was Glupen64, there was a little bit of a rename shuffle that took place a short time ago. A 2.4 GHz CPU does seem to be a tad low for N64 emulation (especially "good" N64 emulation)but I also have zero experience with i5 CPUs so take that guess with a big dose of salt. Try out a stand alone version of Mupen or even Project64 2.3 and see how those perform on your system.

Oh man that is really weird but now I am leaning towards some sort of issue with Launchbox and your Intel video chipset. I am gonna tag @Jason Carr for this one and hopefully he has some sort of input on the matter.
-
Yeah that is extremely weird and you say you are getting the freeze if using Retroarch as well through LB but not RA on its own ?
-
Hmmm, I have to admit I am sort of stumped here at the moment as to what the issue could be your emulator settings and command line parameters look to be perfectly fine and if the games are loading outside of LB it should work within LB. I had to re-setup ePSXe here and using both of the defaulted ePSXe 2.0.5 video plugins are working just fine and loading through LB for me. Could you try using the ePSXe GPU core 2.0.0 video plugin and see if that has any effect on your ability to load through LB ? Judging by your screenshots you are using a non default video plugin and though this shouldn't have any impact on it working through LB I just want to see if it works for you using the standard default 2D render plugin.
-
Can you show the Emulator Details tab of the Edit Emulator window ?
-
If they are loading outside of Launchbox but not inside then you have something off in your LB setup. Can you post some screen shots of your emulator settings and associated platforms for your Playstation emulator ?
-
Try using the built in HLE bios in ePSXe. If your games load using that then it is most likely you have the wrong (or bad) bios dumps. If your games don't work doing it this way then you most likely have bad disk images or bad cue sheets.

Demul is a love / hate emulator. It sucks but it is the best we got for Dreamcast and Atomiswave.
-
This is just a guess here but try going into the Options menu and then at the bottom to System, go into RAM Cache and turn on Clear Ram cache. Like I said this is just a guess.
-
I have personally not encountered this problem but a quick Google search gave me this post talking about it could be a firewall issue: http://www.emutalk.net/threads/53983-Reserve-Memory-error-Can-t-reserve-512-Mbytes-of-memory-for-the-memBase

Version 7.9 - Released April 11, 2017 - New Premium Feature: Platform Categories are now accessible in Big Box! You can choose "View Platform Categories" in the main menu, and platform categories can be made the default view on startup in the view options. - New Premium Feature: Nested Filters are now available in Big Box as well! You can filter any games list in Big Box by pretty much any field or combination of fields. This includes keyboard and button shortcuts and a menu item listed in the alphanumeric navigation. - New Premium Feature: New options are available under Options > Image Cache in Big Box to force populate all cache images. This should help especially on lower-end devices like the GPD Win, where the device is too slow to do it during normal operation. - New Feature: Platform categories can now be edited with a sort title, video, etc. via the side bar in LaunchBox - Improvement: Five new platform category images are included by default with LaunchBox, thanks to GiantTitan from the forums - Improvement: Theme videos can now be downloaded for platform categories as well using Tools > Download Platform/Playlist Theme Videos - Improvement: Empty games lists in Big Box should now show "no games found" instead of an empty list - Improvement: A new Arabic translation is available thanks to MajKSA from the forums! - Improvement: Added missing field "Broken" to playlist auto-filters and nested filters - Improvement: Hide/Unhide is now available in Big Box in the game details view - Improvement: Added a new "CurrentTime" binding to all views in Big Box for custom themes - Improvement: Big Box CoverFlow performance has been marginally improved; also, for lower end machines such as the GPD Win, the reflections are what cause performance issues and can now be turned off under Big Box > Options > Images > CoverFlow Reflection Opacity. Set the opacity to 0% to drastically improve performance. - Improvement: Hide Taskbar is no longer the default for Big Box since it seems to cause some rare issues on some systems, specifically when coming back to Big Box from a game (thanks to Charco for figuring this out) - Fixed: Playlists in Big Box were not switching image types correctly - Fixed: Controller automation was occasionally causing issues with Big Box when closing out of certain emulators - Fixed: When selecting a platform, platform category, or playlist in the sidebar in LaunchBox and no previous image type had been selected for that item, LaunchBox was not using the default image type but rather it was using the image type that was used for the previous selection - Fixed: Playlists were not looking at additional apps when populating the games in the lists - Fixed: When creating automatic arcade playlists, some non-arcade games were ending up in the list

If I am understanding you correctly you are having problems getting Launchbox to start up on your fresh install of Windows 10 ? Did you install the Visual C and .NET run time libraries required ? The latest tutorial video has a Mega download link containing the installers for both of the required libraries. Here is the Mega link and video. https://mega.nz/#!Q8UVXLRT!LVjgSIkpu826al7QhV32JtOg_jBUTE726RYXX_hqi7U

You need to use a 3rd party controller mapping program to map your controller to the keys Daphne has assigned to the games controls. Xpadder is the most popular choice but costs money, AntiMicro is a very good free alternative and Controller Companion is a good option which you can pick up on Steam for around 3 bucks.

Uncheck the "Don't use quotes" box.
