  1. You can have Launchbox, emulators and roms where ever you want them.
  2. Integer scale wont fill the screen unless your resolution happens to be an exact integer of the original resolution, you either need to turn that off or set a manual scale size.
  3. Did you enable the lightgun and set it to use the mouse in Mame ? lightgun 1 lightgun_device mouse
  4. Just don't input any Retro Achievement login info, done.
  5. While I cannot speak for Jason at all and I don't intend to I know he did look into adding bezels but decided against it because of the fact there is no clean way of doing it, it would require very "hackish" methods to implement them and he does not like to do things that way. Retroarch and Mame both handle bezels natively and are the recommended way of having bezels or use RocketLauncher which uses its own "hackish" methods.
  6. Unless Jason changed his mind again bezels are not going to be added, it requires way too much work and really hackish stuff to make them work.
  7. RocketLauncher does a lot of scripting to make it work, the guide posted above does work, I have done it to make sure. If you don't want to use it then that is up to you.
  8. Well that is the best way to use the Mame core for non arcade systems, otherwise stick to the stand alone Mame.
  9. Since you say this happens when you run from Retroarch on its own then there is something wrong in your setup, I suggest asking over on their forums.
  10. If you install it on a 32 bit system first it will work on anything but if you install on a 64 bit system first it will most likely not port over well to a 32 bit system.
  11. There isn't one but it does work on 32 bit hardware, I have an old 32 bit Windows 7 PC with Launchbox installed on it and it works fine.
  12. That's 4 questions The more games you got the larger the database files are which means it takes more CPU to deal with it all. If you have a lot of games that means you have a lot of images which can use up more ram and vram which can impact performance on lower end hardware. The 2 are intertwined which can impact performance together. Library size really hasn't been much of an issue for quite a while since Jason did a bunch of work on the database and caching a while back unless you have a truly massive library and a very low end system. We find now people have more performance issues due to a lot of auto-generated playlists, these put a heavy load on startup due to all the xml processing that is required to parse all of the data. The refresh images tool does just that, it refreshes the images looking for any changes that may have happened to your images.
  13. When you did your import what emulator did you tell LB to use with your Dreamcast games ?
  14. You mean a safety net for the safety net. The safety net is to not delete the rom when removing the game, removing the game from LB then delete the game is the safest way to do it. Also have a backup drive of your roms.
  15. Just tested here using GroovyMame on Windows 10 and no issues at all with pausing, working as intended. Both Launchbox and BigBox modes.
  16. Just download the newest version, make sure to get the zip version not the installer and extract it into the previous install folder over writing anything it asks. It won't overwrite any config files at all, I would suggest making a backup of your previous install first though just in case. Once you are sure the new overwritten version is working the way you want then you can delete the old one.
  17. None sorry, I don't use a PS4 controller in my setup, I use an XBone and Hori FC controller.
  18. These emulators you mentioned all perform well on a Ryzen, I have a 2700X and they all run great except for the XBox 360 one but I think that is more on the emulator than the CPU though of course a higher speed CPU can out muscle it. Demons Souls runs at full speed 30fps, BotW runs at 60 fps and 3DS games that run well like A Link Between Worlds run great as well but they also run fine on lower end hardware as well.
  19. Send an email to support @unbrokensoftware.com and ask.
  20. Technically the real bios will make the emulator more compatible but a good HLE bios is just as good and you won't notice any difference in games and they are 100% legal.
  21. HLE bios are built in and made by the emulators dev, they aren't copyrighted files. Unfortunately I cannot help you obtain good working bios but I do know they are out there and they do work and the HLE bios in ePSXe work very well too.
  22. Check your Launchbox\Updates folder for a 9.7 installer and run that if it is there.
  23. If there is a problem with 9.8 it's something that is only happening to a small handful of people, we have had a lot of people update without issues.
  24. You can set it to use the HLE bios instead if you are having troubles getting the correct bios.
