  1. Has been for a long time. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/forum/90-android/
  2. Pretty sure thisa is intended behaviour. The "coloured image" you get when you click on a game is a heavily blurred image from that game, usually the box-front. You get the "default" dark images at other times as you have not clicked on a game yet.
  3. Images are always helpful, descriptions only get you so far. The switch is a widescree 16:9 ratio sytem, like all modern systems, Most themes are designed to show 4:3 videos cause thats what games used to be, so the theme is simply maintaining the correct aspect ratio, stretching a 16:9 video vertically to fill a 4:3 window would look awful.
  4. You should have previous installers in your Launchbo/Updates folder, you can run any of them over the top of your current install, you wont lose any of your data.
  5. You know Launchbox has a built in updater right, you dont need to download from the website to update?
  6. Thought id better chime in here also with the huge thanks. I gave a thumbs up at the start, but that was YEARS ago, way to be a slow tease @Mr. RetroLust I thank you for your dedication to a project this large, i wulda got so bored within a month. So thank you for your dedication to a project like this, and your willinless to just share it with the community, no questions asked, no money needed. Cheers.

Yes you can, set a button to "change theme" go to a platforms game view and press that button, pick this theme.
  9. OK, but this quote certainly read like you had. As for AV, Windows Defender is actually what we recommend, very very few users ever have issues with it in regards to Launchbox/Bigbox, but these forums are full of people having issues with Avast, Norton, Mcafee and the like. Paid or third party AV are mostly never needed, they provide false positives to make you think they are finding issues and to get you to pay for them, they are unreliable at best, and outright scams at worst.
  10. Actually AVAST is trash and has actively been a problem for many users of Launchbox with it actively removing files, Windows Defender is a far better choice here. I really dont think that AV was a issue in this case, i mean you re-installed Windows, that was very likely the actual cure to whatever strange issue you were having.
  11. There is no way to tell which version its from, but you could tell if its a fullset, how big is the folder?
  12. You need to download the non installable version of yuzu. On the download page click the manual download button instead.
  13. All the older versions you have used are still in your Launchbox/Updates folder, you can re-run one whenever you like over the top of your install.
  14. Absolutely, it will give you far less headaches than trying to get random roms working on random unofficial retroarch mame cores.
  15. Then you will just have to guess and learn through trial and error. My guess though is you will have issues with games due to not having all the correct files or using the incorrect emulator version. This is nothing to do with Launchbox and just how MAME works, also i would HIGHLY advise against using Retroarch for MAME in the first place.
  16. MAME uses the keyboard by default, you will need to set your "general controls" via the TAB menu when a game is loaded.
  17. You need to log into your account in Retroarch as well, its the emulator that gives out the achievements.
  18. Just watch the intro movie for Zero-Wing on megadrive, youll get the "all your base are belong to us" achievement.
  19. I didnt do anything to mine and its still working, but as i said above the system has changed and only hardcore achievements are shown now in Launchbox, as that is all that Retro Achievements now count towards your score, they do show your softcore score on the website, but its seperated out now and Launchbox is just showing your hardcore score now as is the way the Retro Achievements people want it now.. As you can see my score from the RA website is 1278 Hardcore and 1204 softcore. And in Launchbox it's showing my score as 1278, which matches my hardcore score from the website.
  20. The API has changed, also, only Hardcore achievements count going forward. https://retroachievements.org/viewtopic.php?t=13893 You can see the change on your banner on the website.
  21. In your second image you have -L folder/core name, that is not needed there as its already set at the Associated platform screen, you are essectially trying to load the emulator twice, and this will probably break things.
  22. This is impossible, Launchbox has no internal list of games, so it only knows what it see's, so if its importing games then you have the games.
  23. Thats a theme error by the looks, what theme is it and have you tried reverting to the default theme to see if the error goes away?
