  1. There usually is a sale, but we dont know for sure and when there are sales they are never advertised in advance. There have been black Friday sales in previous years though, so it's a good bet.
  2. Or you can select the platform in the sidebar, then Tools/Consolidate Roms for name of platform.
  3. It looks like you didnt combine games on import, you have 4 versions of the same game in a row there. If you highlite all four and right click disk one and choose combine all 4 disks will be in the right click menu.
  4. The different discs are listed in the right click menu.
  5. Fundamental is also a nice and fast theme.
  6. Or, you know, just use the new on device importer.
  7. It's not picky at all, it will import any filetype you tell it to. You only need to import the .cue file, Launchbox doesnt need any other files, even if you have games with a .cue and multiple .bin files you still only import the .cue file. What do you mean by image files, are you talking iso's or actual media images like box's and screenshots?
  8. Probably because the games are in the own folders, so Launchbox doesnt see any files. Easiest way to import them would be to go to the folder and put *.cue into the windows explorer search bar, high-lite all the games and drag and drop them onto Launchbox to start the import wizard.
  9. Launchbox has no control over files in the emulator folders at all, you have something else strange going on here. I just tested here by launching Mortal Kombat 3 in MAME, i set my controls via Tab menu/Input (this machine) then quit MAME and it saved the control config just fine.
  10. Looks like you are using hardware rendering and upscaling the resolution, thats im sure is 99% your problem. Some game are simply buggy or have graphical glitches if using anything other than software rendering at native resolution. Burnout 3: Takedown does the same thing with the sun, when using hardware rendering.
  11. Yeah thats correct, there is nowhere to define that path so it needs to be local to the launchbox folder. I do the same thing mostly, launchbox on my C drive and my roms and gameplay snaps on my D drive. I do however keep my platform/playlist and startup videos in the local folder.
  12. They just need to be in the Launchbox/Videos/startup folder, no further options are needed.
  13. Controls are down to the emulators not Launchbox. So i guess it depends if the emulator saves that to its own folder or if it stores it elsewhere like your documents folder.
  14. Yes, Bigbox is designed for use with a controller, all the things you asked about are available.
  15. Customization features are premium only im afraid.
  16. Nope.
  17. This is what i get when clicking your link.
  18. You can assume what you like, doesnt make it true though. I have no idea, how would i check that?
  19. Like i said in my previous posts, the logo name must EXACTLY match the platform name. Your logo is "Sony PlayStation", but you actual platform is just called "Play Station", rename the logo to match.
  20. Thats wrong, its Launchbox/Images/Platforms/Sony Playstation/Clear Logos. The path you used is for the actual game logos, not the platform ones.
  21. The logo needs to be name EXACTLY the same as the platform is, then in Bigbox go to options/image cache and refresh platform logos.
  22. Thats simply the fact that you do not have any Clear Logos for those systems, so its just plain text instead of a image.
  23. Same. I have my platform named Steam, not Windows. Could the platform name cause any issues? I have another platform called Windows that houses all my non-steam games.

    adding box art

Just add it to the relevant folder in Launchbox/Images/name of platform/Box-Front and name it the same as the game
