  1. Yes it will still work, in fact it only adds working games if you leave the import options at there default, so those games wouldnt of been imported anyway if they dont work. Bare in mind though if you remove working games from your set they will still be added to Launchbox but obviously will not launch. This is because the fullset importer obviously assumes that is what you have a fullset, so it doesnt actually scan your rom folder, it asks for its location, but doesnt actually scan the roms.
  2. Click a game then CTRL A to highlite all the games in the platform. Go to Tools/Download metadata/media and use the "dont overwrite existing media" option.
  3. If i was you i would look at something like Lakka for it. http://www.lakka.tv/
  4. I used to have a z3735 tablet with 2GB of ram and there was no chance of running Bigbox on it. I also have a newer atom x5 tablet which is faster than the z3735 by quite a bit, and that wont run Bigbox acceptably either, Launchbox is OK to a point on it, but Bigbox is very slow, due to the slow CPU, Storage and Ram, and of course the lack of a dedicated GPU.
  5. You would need to set a key/button in Bigbox for "Show Genres" then use that to get the genres list from the main system/games lists.
  6. You would want "Advertisement Flyers" for arcade for the most part. I use 3D boxes made by a user here on the forums as i use 3D boxes for other systems so i like to keep a unified look there.
  7. When you import uncheck all media for downloading. After the import is done go to Tools/Manage Platforms, double click your MAME/Arcade platform and go to the folders tab, here you can browse to various media types.
  8. You can change the dropdown top left of Launchbox to genres, there will be a big list, Sports/Wrestling being one of them.
  9. Did you have those games already imported using another emulator? If so did you bulk edit the games to now use MAME?
  10. Did you also add the platform as a associated platform for MAME?
  11. Attract mode is completely random, the only options for it are what you see in Bigbox.
  12. The default Bigbox theme looks much like this, also this Bigbox theme has a different look for each system and the NES one is similar.
  13. You should always exit your PC games via it's own menu, especially if you value your save data.
  14. Turn on attract mode in the Bigbox settings.
  15. There will be no linking to torrents or roms on these forums.
  16. Launchbox was completely re-written since 7.6 so i can pretty much say with certainty that it wont work, of course you are free to try it for yourself.
  17. Yes, load the game, change the settings you want then save it as a game overide in the quick menu.
  18. This is old and obsolete information. You can now have as many startup videos as you like, and named as you like, just place them all in Launchbox/Videos/startup folder and a random one will play each time.
  19. I have just installed the latest dev build from 12 hours ago, and games are launching just fine here with the -b -e, i dont see the UI at all.
  20. Ah OK, yeah thats the issue then i'm afraid. Launchbox does not currently have support for software list roms, i believe it is planned for the future, but currently it will not be able to match games to the database very well due to them using the MAME short names rather than conventional naming.
  21. You are calling the system Colecovision right? It should find all the games just fine, at least it did for me when i imported them. So unless you have poorly named roms then they should import just fine. Or are you using MAME software list roms?
  22. Mine has the framerate in there.
  23. Its in your MAME folder, but you can also do it through the UI, just load MAME without a game and go to configure/Directories/Roms and point it at your romfolder. Then back up a couple of screens and be sure to "save configuration", before closing MAME.
  24. I use it in dinput mode also for MAME, i leave it plugged in all the time, and it conflicted with normal PC games when in xinput mode as games would default to that rather than my xbox controllers, so i always had to unplug it when playing PC games. Keeping it in dinput mode fixed that as PC games generally look for a xinput device first not a dinput one.
