  1. I use the expanded view, and it looks....well different.
  2. I'll tag @Jason Carr and @Vlansix here and see if they know what might be going on.
  3. Thank's again Jason.
  4. Another user has also had the same issue. The forums had a bit of a upgrade over night, so i expect it is related some how.
  5. Thank you very much @Jason Carr, that would be wonderful and very much appreciated. I would of just carried on helping user's as much as i could, but may of run into issues with user's being on a newer version of Launchbox than myself. So that will help me out a lot, so that i can continue to offer help and advice to forum members. Thanks again.
  6. It was a fix for a different issue, he is looking into the the cannot connect to server issue.
  7. Here is his reply, @dragon57 @neil9000 I've identified the crash and replaced the download with a fixed version. The Buildbot Date List was going out of range when it checked for mismatched cores. The "Cannot connect to sever" error only happens if the scanned url returns empty. It connects to the hidden index-extended file in the Buildbot directory. I will look into this. I will work on v0.8.5 and redesign so no more errors will occur.
  8. He did get back in the main thread and is looking into it.
  9. Yeah, hopefully that comes before the 21st of the month as that is when my yearly premium expires. Would hate to be left on a beta rather than a official release.
  10. Just downloaded the beta's and i am getting much better game wheel performance, previously if i held the down button down to move down through a whole load of games then stopped on a game i had to wait 2 or 3 seconds before i could move the wheel again. Now when i stop it's virtually instantaneous to start moving again. Great work Jason.
  11. Installing a new theme is usually just as simple as unzipping it to the theme folder, then going into bigbox options and switching to it. Nothing will be overwritten at all and the new theme will use all the images and video's and such that the default theme does. Also most of the newer themes come with a settings .xml that should automatically change any specific settings that the theme in question needs, and if you don't like the theme just switch back and delete the folder from your theme folder. As for best that is very subjective, i personally like critical zone (which you already have as it's built into launchbox these day's) and i regularly use @Grila fundamental theme, it's really clean with big box art.
  12. Well i had to log into the forums on my PC this morning also, it seems the forums have had a bit of a makeover during the night, so maybe some things have changed or there is a little bug hiding somewhere. Sorry i can't help with your actual issue, i'm just assuming it's related to the overhaul.
  13. lol, just woke up and didn't see it either until i put my glasses on.
  14. In your Gamecube command line you have 3 L's in dll just remove one and it should work just fine.
  15. Yeah, they are very quick though as they are such small files, so it won't take long to just go down the list grabbing the ones you wan't to update.
  16. Not that i know of, before i used stellar i just used the core downloader inside retroarch as that always downloads the newest version. I just re downloaded stellar 0.83 which used to work just fine for me, and that's not working anymore either. So looks like it might be on the libretro end.
  17. It's possible, i just had to refresh it just now as the site didn't load first time, but i did try stellar yesterday which is when i discovered the issue.
  18. Actually the URL does appear to still be the same, at least my stellar and the website URL match in this pic.
  19. It did still work about a week ago so this is a recent issue, i wonder if the download URL has changed?
  20. Yeah i'm having the same issue with the latest version also. I did report it to @wyzrd in his stellar thread but haven't had a reply as of yet.
  21. Just go to tools/options/box front priorities, uncheck flyers then check cabinet and move it up the list.
  22. Hi @wyzrd I'm having some issues with the latest version also. Whenever i try to update RA+Cores i get a "cannot connect to server" error, when i close that error it is followed with a "could not find download" error, see attached shot's. If i just run the update "Cores" option i also get the "cannot connect to server" error but upon closing the error the cores appear to download just fine. So i'm not sure what is happening here, but thought i should let you know. Also this is on the latest Windows 10 64bit.
  23. If you just want to import USA roms the easiest way is to when importing choose add files, navigate to the folder with the platforms roms in it then use the windows search in the top right of your explorer window. Type in that *"(USA)" that will filter to just the roms that end in (USA) then just click one to highlight it then ctrl A to highlight them all and press next. As for the bios depending on the system and the emulator you are using you may or may not even need them, this is on a per system then emulator basis, so i would need to know the system and the emulator you are using to advise where to place them if needed at all.
  24. I would suggest closing Launchbox and going to the Launchbox/Data/Playlists folder and deleting the playlist .xml's in there and re-opening Launchbox. Edit: Monkus beat me to it.
