  1. No its not a bug, it just means that either 1). you only have the Japanese logo for those games, 2). you have both countries logos downloaded and a region is not associated with the particular image, or 3). Your region priorities are set incorrectly in Launchbox (which carry over to Bigbox to).
  2. OK, shame, but thanks for checking. I may be well of base anyway, it was just the first time i have seen a image were someone was preferring the Steam version over the standard portable version of Retroarch, so my thinking was the way that the steam version launches a specific core, is the same way we do, so you get a double command, which is invalid.
  3. I'm just curious, do you still have the older Retroarch, if you set that back, do games work again?
  4. OK i have just seen this, so thanks @JoeViking245 for picking it up and potentially solving it. However i do see a issue in the above image, and that is that you seem to be running Retroarch through steam, is that in fact correct, because that may itself be injecting some commands of itself. I'm honestly not sure, and pretty sure it's never been tested. Gonna link this thread in our moderator discord, just in case its a actual issue with using the steam version of Retroarch.
  5. Just delete what you dont want in Windows.
  6. Could probably create a auto populated playlist for recently played games.
  7. Also for Spectrum (not sure about Amstrad as i dont emulate it) in the controller settings for the fuse core, set it to "Kempston" you can then use your controller for most games by bringing up the onscreen keyboard with the select button and pressing whatever key the game is asking for to start in Kempston Joystick mode.
  8. You checked that your antivirus hasn't removed files.

    Flip box

Just to add, you obviously needed to of downloaded the box back images to start with.
  10. Click on one game in a platform, then use CTRL-A to highlight them all, then head to the option under tools.
  11. Check your antivirus hast removed any of the new files.
  12. I dont believe any of that code has been touched for these betas, have you checked to see if you accidentally turned those features off? You dont state where, but both Launchbox and Bigbox have separate settings for this.
  13. You would highlight all games in a platform with CTRL-A and then go to "Tools/Change Roms folder path for selected games". And yes you will have to do that for every system, but not for playlists as playlists get the path from the platform.
  14. You import the .cue, or .gdi only, dont import bins at all.
  15. FYI, we fixed this in the Discord, The associated platform name wasnt matching the Platform name.
  16. OK, first things first, Launchbox does not officially support software lists, so there is no guidance for that as its simply not something we support. However there is a plugin in the downloads section that should help, but obviously the devs and moderators cannot provide support for a third party plugin, so use at your own risk and always backup your data first. As for the standard Arcade games, just run the fullset importer again, pointed at your new MAME.exe and your new roms folder, and uncheck all the media downloads.
  17. Not really though, you are using a 4K screen, but telling Windows to render everything at 720p, look at how pixelated it makes text look, you may as well of just bought a large 720p screen at that point.
  18. Click the small changelog button, that brings up all the old versions, pick the one you want and then a small download button appears.
  19. That is a HUGE amount of scaling, any reason why you have it so high? You are essentially running Windows at 720p with that high a scaling setting, which is quite a waste of a 4K screen. I am running my 4K screen at 150% scaling which works out at 1440p, and that works fine. And set to 200% which is 1080p, I do see the same as you at 300% 720p, but ill be honest and say it looks awful everything is so pixelated, especially text, quite a waste of a good screen if you ask me.
  20. Have you deleted the actual beta update file from Launchbox/Updates, as it may be that that is corrupted, not your actual install.
  21. There are dedicated programs that can use DAT files to check your romsets, thats not really the job of a Frontend.
  22. Depends what you mean really, if you want to "Upscale" the graphics so that they look better on a modern display, then you would need a Graphics Card to do that, likewise if you wanted to use shaders in Retroarch that would also require a Graphics Card, older systems only use the CPU, so that has to be a fast one, but any system that is 3D really does need a Graphics Card.
  23. OK thanks, this is why we ask for specifics, much more helpful, ill pass it on.
